Community, We are going to utilize the IFS standard functionality “Purchase Order Delivery Reminder” to fire purchase order delivery reminders supplier based email to suppliers (RMB functionality) when new objects are created in this window.  To automate this process, I think we better create a custom event. We are not quite familiar with Custom Event. Any help I could get from here? any document we could use?   Thank you all.

Hi, I have a part which was not tracked by serial at the time of issue, later it got tracked by serial in the system. Now i m trying to return the part which i issued without serial. system is raising error that system requires unique serial for each line.when i put serial system raise error saying this serial is not registered in part catalog. how can i receive this serial tracked part without registering the serial at the time of RMA receipt, and then to identify its serial from inventory part in stock. Thanks

Community, Our purchasing department is seeking a notification for our buyers if the PO is “confirmed” and the 10 days before the “Planned Arrival Date” , a notification will send to the buyers so that we can follow-up on tracking information. I am thinking of below 2 options, quick report. i might be able to create the quick report, but how to schedule the report and send it buyers, this is not what I am quite familiar with. custom event. and then event action. tentatively, i should be working, but I am not that familiar with it. your thoughts? Thank you.

Hi, I have a period allocation for insurance costs that is posted in the GL for a number of periods in the future. I have done the period allocation in connection with creating a Manual Supplier Invoice. I have canceled the insurance and gotten a refund. So now I wish to cancel the coming X voucher. Any ideas on how to proceed? Best regards, Tobias Bringeback

What does the Customer Credit Block actually do?How does it work when there are Parent / Child relationships?

When a shop order is moved to a new operation block, any rework or alternate materials applied to the shop order are not being maintained.   For example:  Shop orders on operation block B6510 were moved from operation block B6387 on 9/21.When the shop orders were on operation block B6387, item 100XXXA was change to an inclusion of 0 and item 100XXXB was added in its place.  Once the shop orders were moved to the new operation block, this change was no longer in place.  Due to severe raw material shortages we are working through right now, we need to ensure the reworks applied are being maintained. Any ideas on how to fix this is greatly appreciated.

If documents are attached to an object in IFS Applications they are always shown as tiles with only few information. In IEE you could configure if they should be shown as symbol, list or details. Is there a similar possibility in Aurena to show all attached documents in a table with the possibility of selecting columns, filter data, etc.?

There is a subsidiary company in USA and another subsidiary company in Australia under the one group of companies. USA company manufactured a raw material at the cost of 75USD and sells at 100USD to Australian company. Currently in IFS, selling company in USA inventory is valued at 75USD where as buying company’s inventory in Australia is valued at 100USD.But Australian company wants to value the received inventory at 75 USD and not to value at 100USD because the received inventory should be valued at cost for the group and they do not want to include 25USD markup in inventory which increases cost of sales when Australian company selling  finished goods to their customers. Is there anyway to handle this scenario with this current setup as shown below?  

In the ifs-printing.properties file in IFS Print Agent two properties available as below.PageSize               Eg: PaperSize=Portait A4,827,1169PageAutoSize      Eg: PageAutoSize=yesIn Apps10 Core environment noticed that either one property is used at a time. But a customer has both properties used at the same time. I could not find a better explanation on the usage of “PageAutoSize” in F1 docs. May I know what is the ideal way to use these properties? Also what is the expected behavior when both properties are on? 

Has anyone seen this issue and know how to fix it?  The problem is:The Default Batch Queue seems to run for awhile as it should, and then decides to take a break for a random amount of minutes.  Sometimes 3 or 4 minutes and up to around 15 minutes….and then it starts running jobs again.  This is causing many jobs to pile up and that queue gets farther and farther behind.  The alert monitor for number of batch queues stuck stays on most of the time, but I don’t see that it is truly stuck, it just seems to take long breaks.Anyone have ideas?  This is Apps 9, and yes, I have done the break, reactivate and re-init the queue.  Have even bounced the database.Any ideas would be welcomed….

How do I update my sales part base price from costing

Hi, We are already using Field Quotation on Employee Portal and we now we want to use this on Mobile edge so our Field Engineers can create  Field Quotations. But when Creating a Field Quotation there are some limitations compared to when we Creating a Field Quotation in the Employee Portal. What we want to do on Mobile is:Selecting a Offering Template (We also can use Problem Code to do this, but Offering Themplates are already available.)  Set Offering Line Billable to Fixed and manually fill in the price. Set Offering Line Billable to Not Billable Is there a way to do this on Mobile Edge? Or is this only available in Employee Portal. Thanks,Robin

in mixed payment system raised this error in the approve , i checked :the account in posting control PP22 and it is enables. the GL accounts in company 141 and 901 and it is there. the section and employee data, both are enables only in company 901 please advise?

Dear Experts ,when we have active in purchase order change orders , released status PO delivery date can not change without change orders . However , price and qty changes need to be have change orders . Therefore , we can not go for Change order optional option in Site level and supplier level ?   Do you have any views on this matter ?

We are in the process of converting users to Aurena. However, when Error/Warning/Information messages pop up in the corner of the page, they fade out within a second or two. A majority of the time, the verbiage cannot be read prior to the fade out. Is there a system parameter or other setting that can increase the timing of these pop-ups? Thanks,Jeff Nattermann

Hi, Is it possible to send samples to ‘Prospects’? Our samples would be Serialized and tracked in order for us to know where they are so they can return at the appropriate moments. For customers this is all easy, but what about prospects that are not yet converted to customers? Is it possible to create some kind of shipment so we can track the samples being sent to them? Or is it mandatory to convert the prospect to a customer despite the fact that they have not (and maybe will not) do a purchase? Best RegardsRoel

HiCan anyone tell me how to add a user group to a voucher type? We are trying to transfer purchase transactions but getting this error message - ‘User group XXX is not connected to voucher type  with function group 0 for accounting year 2021 in Company XX’, but I can’t find where to this.ThanksHayley
