Hi all. I have a client (with IFS Cloud 24R2) that send by email, automatically, the invoices. We have set up the Sender email and it is working. The problems is that when the customer click the “Print Invoice”In this case, the system has to create the pdf (Report Design) and send it by email automatically. But, suddenly, this process stop working (we do not if anything in any server was changed) But, from that moment it is not possible to send invoices. We do not know if it’s something related to Print Agent….The status in Print Manager screen is always “Remote Waiting” and the printer is “No printout”.Any idea???? We have a serious problem!!!!

Hello everyone, I am experiencing an issue with the package part in Cloud (25R1) The component part -Qty per assembly is correctly defined on the package part (which is 1), and the UOM ==EA is also correct (all parts). This is not configurable part. However, when i add the package part to Business opportunity or sales quotation, sometimes all component quantities are recalculated to unexpected values, such as 0.5 or 0.8.Has anyone experienced the similar behavior? Are there any known causes, configuration settings? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Are there any plans to support IFS Cloud on newer Ubuntu versions?  We’re currently running 24r2.14 on 22.04.5 and are planning to go to 26r2 early next year. is 26r2 planned to be supported on on Ubuntu 22.04.5? Our Linux/Unix security folks are asking if we can move to a newer version of Ubuntu?Canonical appears to be supporting 22.04 until at least 2027 unless extended support is purchased. Would appreciate any comments.

Hello,We would like to see how many hours our IFS Cloud users have actively used IFS over specific time intervals (e.g., 1 month, 3 months). Could you please help us identify which table contains this information, or where we can find it if such a log page exists?

We receive a "Failed to load chat version information" error when opening the settings in IFS Cloud 25R2. How can I solve, help me please ?

Hello,I’m migrating an invoice layout to IFS Report Studio from Crystal Reports (IFS Cloud 25R2 SU9) and need a dynamic watermark: DUPLICATE / COPY / PRELIMINARY depending on print context. SetupThe report definition (.rdf) computes a header-level field WATERMARK_TAG holding the watermark ID. The value is confirmed correct in the generated XML (e.g. <WATERMARK_TAG>PRELIMINARY</WATERMARK_TAG>). The report’s Watermarks collection contains one text watermark per ID: DUPLICATE, COPY, PRELIMINARY and NONE. The report’s WatermarkId property is bound to an expression. Results (test document: WATERMARK_TAG = PRELIMINARY in the XML)Hardcoded value → ✅ PRELIMINARY watermark printed'PRELIMINARY'   Field only → ❌ first watermark of the collection (DUPLICATE) printed[INVOICE_REP_REQUEST.INVOICE_REP.WATERMARK_TAG]   Multi-condition Iif → ❌ no watermark printed (falls to the default branch NONE)Iif([INVOICE_REP_REQUEST.INVOICE_REP.WATERMARK_TAG] == 'DUPLICATE', 'DUPLICATE', [INVOICE_REP_R

Hi,When a Customer Order (CO) header is blocked and the CO line inventory part is supplied through Purchase Order Transit (Purch Order Trans) from an external supplier, the demand is not considered in Inventory Part Availability Planning, (Not in MRP) even when Release for Material Planning is enabled. Is this the intended behavior in IFS?We have observed that the same blocked customer order demand is considered by planning when the supply code is set to Inventory Order, but not when the supply code is Purch Order Trans. Could you please clarify whether this is expected system behavior? Note: Customer Order block reason is having Exclude from Mtrl Planning as False in all above scenarios. Thanks!

In a Nutshell: IFS Cloud Web DevTools was working fine last week for me, but out of the blue I logged into my computer today to do some debugging and the “Network” pane (in Logs) is not producing ANY output. And YES, I have selected “Debug DevTools link” in my IFS instance.  How do you normally troubleshoot this? any ideas other than un-install/re-install the extension?I’m running Web DevTools 1.2.8I am pretty sure this is not the Web DevTools, there must be something wrong between my data collection and the browser because the IFS Inspector (another add-on used for similar purpose) is also NOT collecting Server side Network activity.I’m running Edge Version 153.0.4234.48 Thanks for your ideas… I have explored everything I thought could cause it to no avail so far!

1) ClassificationOpportunity for improvement2) Brief descriptionIntroduce a standard Unit of Production (UOP) depreciation method within IFS Cloud Fixed Assets.Currently, customers who require depreciation based on actual asset consumption (e.g., units produced, machine hours, operating hours, kilometres travelled, tonnes mined) must implement custom solutions because IFS does not provide a native UOP depreciation method. This requirement has already resulted in customer-specific customizations and development efforts. The proposed enhancement would provide a standard depreciation method that:Maintains expected lifetime production/usage units. Captures actual units consumed for each depreciation period. Calculates depreciation based on actual asset usage rather than time. Supports manual entry, file uploads, and integrations. Provides standard validations and reporting. This enhancement would improve support for industries such as Mining, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Transportation, Con

Hi, We're on IFS Cloud 25R1 (SU8). In this thread, a customer shared IFS's explanation of how Part Availability Controls behave: https://community.ifs.com/ideas/part-availability-control-set-on-a-location-is-not-carried-over-when-moving-into-qa-or-into-stock-66161 “Part Availability Controls follow a sort of hierarchy based on how they are applied:If applied via a default on an inventory location: The control is tied to the location, not the stock record. This means: Moving stock to a location without a default will remove the control Moving stock to a location with a default will apply that location’s control automatically If applied manually: The control is tied directly to the stock record and will move with it between locationsAccording to IFS, this behavior is intentional and designed to allow controls to adjust automatically based on location rules.” What I'd like to confirm: will a QC hold placed manually on stock keep that control when moved into a location with a different d

Has anyone run into the “Long running app” warning in MWM Mobile on iOS?We recently had a user receive this message after MWM Mobile had been running for an extended period:Long running appThe app has been running for more than XX hours and should be restarted. Close the app by swiping it away from recent apps, then open it again. We originally thought this might be an iOS-generated message, but the MWM Mobile log shows:“Clevest.Mobile.PIBL.LogicHandlers.LoginHandler - Presented long running app message”So it appears to be coming from MWM Mobile itself.I've looked through the Mobile CONFIG.XML and the server-side configuration settings but haven't been able to identify anything that controls the application runtime threshold.Does anyone know whether this warning or its threshold is configurable, or if it is hard-coded into the MWM Mobile client?  Ideally, we'd like to know what the the threshold is and if it can be adjusted or the prompt disabled. We're currently on MWM 8.4 su3

A. What is your idea?1) ClassificationOpportunity for improvement2) Brief descriptionCurrently, support teams assign task cards to crews one shift before work execution, and line supervisors must manually assign those task cards to individual technicians at the beginning of each shift.Due to the high volume of technicians and task cards processed each day, this manual process is time-consuming, resource-intensive, and susceptible to human error. The current process also requires significant administrative effort to ensure that task cards are assigned to the correct technicians before work begins. B. My current installation has a single Print Agent installed on a Utility Server.  This works fine.  I would like to add a second Print Agent hosted on a second Utility Server to help with printing responsiveness and to serve as a backup.  To do this, I installed a second Print Agent and assigned it a unique "ID".  Additionally, the installation uses a second IAM Client entry using a unique "Client ID".  Each Print Agent's printer mappings are unique as well.  My installation is currently on IFS Cloud Release 24R2.The second Print Agent's service will not start successfully.  The logs show the following:From IFSPAService_%.log:[006] 10/12/2026 2:52:07 PM: Starting REST Service...[006] 10/12/2026 2:52:07 PM: ******************************************ServicePointManager.DefaultConnectionLimit :- 2******************************************[006] 10/12/2026 2:52:07 PM: ******************************************Modifying default connection limit to :- 2[006] 10/12/2026 2:52:07 PM: ************

Hi everyone,In IFS, project budget control is enabled, but it appears that budget validation is performed at the cost-element level rather than the activity level. For example, an activity has an estimated cost of KWD 1,000 under BM-CIV, but a Project Supply Request using BM-MEC can still create commitments exceeding the total activity budget. My questions are:Is there a standard IFS configuration to enforce budget control at the activity level across all cost elements? If not, is a custom event or extension required to validate the total activity estimate when creating a Project Supply Request?Any guidance or experience with similar scenarios would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am attempting to configure IFS Facts for extraction to our data lake. My goal is to have the facts incrementally load on a per day basis so that the resulting parquet files are created daily and the files have the date appended to the file name. It looks like most of the Facts only have datetime columns. Is there a way to add a date column to the OOTB facts for partitioning? I currently only have access to the IFS cloud user interface.

Hello IFS Community,I would appreciate help from experienced IFS users, consultants and developers in reviewing the following RemoveTrans behavior and determining the correct configuration. The mechanism described below appears to behave less like ordinary housekeeping and more like a self-amplifying feedback loop: historical records can be repeatedly re-qualified, new technical records are created from already processed loads, and some of those newly created records can later contribute to subsequent executions. In practical terms, the behavior resembles a mailbomb-like feedback loop or self-amplifying process — not because anything malicious is happening, but because one execution can create additional technical records that increase the amount of work performed by future executions. The objective of this post is to understand whether this behavior is expected by design and what the correct configuration should be to prevent repeated processing without affecting legitimate External File

Hi,Is there any option to access SNOW cases through a REST API?Our team manages a large number of Unified Support cases, and we would like to automate some activities to make our work more efficient and process the cases faster.Has anyone implemented a similar integration or automation? If so, could you please share any available documentation or recommendations?Thank you.

Hello,I am looking for recommendations and best practices regarding software version tracking in IFS for manufactured products. We have a customer who produces devices (radars) where software is an integral part of the delivered product. The challenge is that Engineering often knows that software will be required, but the exact version is not known when the BOM is created. The final software version may only be decided during manufacturing, testing, or shortly before delivery.I would be interested to hear how other customers handle this scenario and which approach has proven most practical for maintaining software traceability throughout the product lifecycle.Thank you in advance for any recommendations and examples from real implementations.Pavel K.

Can someone kindly  share some light on the purpose of the above page in ifs cloud  .I cannot obtain any data in this page ,even when the advance invoice(AD) is paid posted  (created from a customer order and paid from a mixed payment) and not matched with the final . Once paid it is Converted to CUPIA .Is it the reason ?Thank you Udanee

Hi,We recently completed a clone of a customer environment running IFS Cloud version 25.2.7.Since the clone, users are being prompted to change their password when logging into the cloned environment, and in some cases are unable to log in until the password has been updated.I have noticed that, for the affected users, the IAM User setting Required User Actions is set to:UPDATE_PASSWORDThis appears to be affecting all users in the cloned environment.Does anyone know what could cause this required action to be applied during or after a clone? We would like to understand the cause so that we can avoid the same issue in future environment refreshes.

Hello. Could you please provide information on the import and export processes and requirements?

Hi All, We are testing MRP  before we jump to cloud 9. ( plan is to move from Apps 9 to Cloud)All looks good but we found some of the SO due dates in Apps9 and Cloud 9 varies,.Steps we took.mirror both base data  inv/shop orders /customer orders and master data in both environment  Apps9 and Colud. Run MRP with adding some new Customer orders (both identical in Apps 9 and Cloud) Check the MRP out put. 99% MRP out put same in both Apps 9and Cloud 1% Shop orders Due date  in App9 is much  than Cloud. ( some orders has 2 days some orders has 5 days etc)I am trying to look for a reason   why there is a difference ?check master data for all the affected SO  ( manufacturing lead time /Routing etc).. all same in both environment. No Luck So far , can anyone direct me to get the bottom of the issue int this case?

Does anyone know what ‘Microsoft Windows Azure’ section in the Apps 10 supported systems refers to? In terms of which part of our architecture. We don’t want to upgrade something that is not suitable etc.

Hello,We are running IFS Cloud 25R2SU07 with 120 users. The middel tier has 128 GB of memory, but only 25 GB is userd. We tried to downsize for cost reduction to 98 GB of memory, but IFS MT was not starting at all.Did you experience this kind of behaviour  in your Remote Cloud deployment ?Your feedback is welcome.
