Hello, We hold an inventory part on 2 sites within the same company. The part is held in a different UoM on each site due to operational requirements.The part is a purchased part on Site A. We sometimes have a requirement to move some of it from Site A to Site B.I have set up an Input UoM Group and assigned the part to it.On Site B the part number will be different to the different U0M. What is the best way in IFS Cloud to execute the stock movement from Site A to Site B so that Site B receives the correct part number and UoM into inventory?  e.g. transport task? shipment order?We are on Cloud 25R1. Thank you!

Hi Team,We are facing an issue in the IFS MWO iOS mobile application.While completing a work order, the customer signature is captured successfully in the iOS app, but when we print or generate the Service Report, the Customer Signature section appears blank / not visible.Note:The same functionality is working correctly in the Windows mobile application.The issue occurs only in the iOS app. Platform: iOS (MWO App) / Client version: 24.1.19.20251203093724.0 Issue: Signature not shown in printed/exported Service Report Observation: Signature is visible in the app but missing in the output report (PDF/print) Has anyone faced this issue before?Attached screenshot for reference.  Thanks in advance for your support.venkat

This probably has a really simple answer that I am missing. I am building a query and need the status from the estimate, as highlighted below. I have gone through every one of the estimate entities shown below and cannot find this field, looked at the debug console trying to determine it, I’m hitting a wall.Does anyone know which entity it resides in?  

Hi IFS ExpertWe would like to improve the Group data by default to all the user of the GL Balance Analysis. This is our default settings and we would like to change themI have already prepared some basic changes in the Selection Criteria or the colomn order but I cannot find where I can configure the Group Data setup in the Page Designer. Hi Everyone,We want to know Is there any In-built mechanism to capture the technician for a particular Interval without manual intervention updates (like tech work status updates or task status and person status updates by tech ) as part of Geofencing ? and we are Interested to know If there is any such feature ? Hello,We occasionally run across some issues when Transferring task assignments to a tech’s MWO service app. The tasks are all Transferred to Mobile, but it sometimes gets caught and does not Download to Mobile. I checked if there are some background jobs preventing this...but nothing is currently running. Is there something else I should be checking or is there a task/batch update I can push to force the download to mobile?Thank you in advance

Does anyone have an idea about garbage memory collection in IFS Cloud K8s PODs?Recently, I was investigating one of our customers’ ifsapp-connect pod crashing multiple times due to OOM, and for further analysis, I created a Java heap dump of the pod.Then I noticed that before heap dump generation, it was consuming 2397Mi, but soon after heap dump generation, it was reduced to 907Mi. Before heap dump After heap dumpThe reason for this is that when I generate the Java heap dump, the full garbage collector (GC) runs and dead objects get reclaimed.As far as my investigation goes, this can only be achieved by generating the heap dump. When we initiate the GC run manually, it won't release the memory, and it will reserve the cleared memory for future usage. Hello,Hello, we are encountering an issue when using the REST API Task type workflow/BPA.When we run the workflow, we get the following error on the REST call: « HTTP Connection: Delegate could not retrieve the data from the specified Auth Token endpoint. Returned status code: 500 » When we disable ssl checking in postman the api call works, but when we enable the ssl checking it does not work. It seems to be an issue with the self generated p12  However, the IFS application enforces SSL verification and relies on its own truststore, which currently does not trust the endpoint certificate.  Resolution Steps suggeste by support1. Export the certificate chain (preferably the issuing root and intermediate CA certificates) used by:mcihpdifsl03.d29.tes.local:443 2. Import the CA certificate(s) into the truststore used by the IFS OData pod (key.p12) associated with defaultSSLConfig.3. Restart the ifsapp-odata pods to ensure the updated truststore is loaded.4. I got a question from a team member, who had made their Business Activity under a Sales Quotation. This Sales Quotation is connected to a Business Opportunity, but the Business Activity doesn’t show in the Business Opportunity - only on the Sales Quotation.Is this normal in IFS Cloud? We would like to see Business Activities made for Sales Quotations also to show under respective Business Opportunity. We strive to work mostly within the Business opportunity module, and now there is a risk the data regarding the Opportunity becomes fragmented and Activities must be searched for in different places. There might be several opportunities ongoing for each account simultaneously which adds to the risk of fragmented data in my opinion.

Hi everyone,When I try to add value for the field “Add on value” in the Component life for the Operation log. I get the below error message.“No Stress rating is registered on serial xxx prior to or at log date. Set the historical stress rating before performing the operational logging” Tried to overcome the error by adding the value in the field Historical Avg Value in Serial Part window. I want to create Engineering part numbers with a drawing revision and then be able to use them as Purchase Parts on a PO where the Rev number will appear. Can someone walk me through this? I’ve created the part numbers, but I can’t get the Rev to appear in the Part Order Lines.

I’m having difficulty locating where historical forecast data resides in the Demand Forecast module within IFS Cloud. I know that Adjusted Forecast information is stored in the FORECAST_FLOW_DAY_PUB table, but is there a specific table that can be queried to retrieve historical demand data?

Dear IFS Community,We create an outbound document transmittal and sent to the receiver after RMB. the next step is  Receive Transmittal Acknowledgement>  RMB and Add Acknowledgement.  Once we do this step system asks to upload the document, and consequently new document is created with status “Preliminary” and attched it with document tab on the transmittal window. As I sent a transmittal with released documents,  my doubt is why a new document is created with the status “Preliminary” after doing step RMB>Add Acknowledgement, and how I will handle this “Preliminary” status document. I will appreciate your explanation a lot.      Thanks,Anuj Singh

We have registered new serial objects in IFS and enabling them for measurement. End-users are to enter meter readings through the Upload Measurements functionality in bulk. Keen to know if there is a relatively easy way to setup the Meter IDs in bulk for the initial setup. Thank you.
