We are in the process of transitioning to IFS Cloud, We are currently on IFS APPS 10 and use the IFS ScanIT Aurena 10. We have a test environment set up (On 25R1) and are wanting to begin testing WADACO (we use Android Devices) but cannot find instructions on how to log in. We have been told to use IFS Aurena ScanIt - The only thing close to that I can find on the Android Store is what we already have.I have no clue what to put in the System ID field and every time I enter our Test Environment URL, I get a server is not reachable error. 

Is it possible for engineers to work across multiple sites within the same company and, additionally across multiple companies.I have a requirement for engineers to carry out work orders in this regard and have visibility of engineering stocks across all relevant sites / companies.Appreciate the answer to this will likely be down to setup, that is currently what I am struggling with. We are currently on Apps8.Furthermore, are the any pitfalls with regards to this that I should be aware of?Thanks in advance.

 Hello Experts,Please suggest if there is a mechanism, trying to avoid doing a CRIM here.When WO created from service contract/ PM action with a resource defined with an assigned person in contract with relevant hours required,Can same person be assigned in WT/assign work allocation? (can it be automated to fetch from PM action as its already added there?), now it flows to work demands but no allocation is made thought data is existing.Can we automate creating allocation link without a crim, just want to see the best options available?Reason because 900> WO exist initially to manually assign.When WO is created, go to allocations, demand shows but not allocated, can we apply it automatically? 

 Hi,I was wondering whether we can merge CRM accounts (Category = Customer) if they are not connected to any objects or do not have any transactions in the system.One of our customers using IFS Cloud has integrated IFS with an external POS system. They import CRM accounts from POS system and save these as customers (category = customer). The CRM account is labelled as duplicate, but we cannot see the “Merge Account” command on the header to merge the duplicate with the original account.I understand that merge account work ok for prospects but couldn’t find a document explaining any limitations or why it’s not supposed to work for new CRM accounts when the category is customer. Is this the intended behaviour for CRM accounts of type “Customer”, even if duplicate records don’t connect with any objects or do not have transactions previously recorded in the system? I would like to see how other customers handle duplicate checks and merge CRM accounts when they import accounts directly from

Hi,In some instances we want to enter a Supplier Invoice but we do not want IFS to automatically match it to the Purchase Order receipts - for example if there are lots of received lines for a PO but multiple invoices, each with only one or two lines. The first invoice for the PO matches to all the PO Lines. Then subsequent invoices match to nothing.We can remove the lines that are automatically matched and then match manually.Just wondered if you could switch the automatic match of for a single Supplier.Any help, much appreciated.Cheers,Graham

 Hello experts!  Anyone has a  good idea around this query?                                                                                 In service contracts where a non-inventory sales part is defined, can we do a standard increase of price  for same parts in all active contracts % wise or amount wise( for same part in all active contracts in one go)? on this same part is in service contracts but in different prices. Customer agreement won’t work as different its different customers. Price list not applicable as each service contract has a different price for same part , so we cannot maintain same sales part with different prices to increase. 

Hello, IFS Cloud 24R2 Question if anyone can help. :-)When we are using Auto Reservation function in the Shipment page and we have multiple dates attached for 1 Inventory Part Number. When we have only part of the Inventory available, the system seems to reserve the later date first, before the earliest. Is there somewhere in the set up of base data to force IFS to always reserve the Earliest Shipment Date? Thank You  

Project Time Transactions are creating a T Voucher in the General Ledger. The Voucher Row for PRJT2 is being summarised and shows as a single line with the description “Summarised customers costs”. Is there a way to show the detail. Same is happening for PRJT13.We are time reporting for Contractors and would like to see the details for each contractor so we can  use Account Matching to match the Supplier Invoice Postings with the Time Transactions. Otherwise we have yet to find what report we can use to identify the balance left in the Account by the PRJT13 postings (similar to a Received Not Yet Invoiced Report).Thanks for any help.Graham

Hi,Is there a Report for Contractor Time that has been registered but not yet invoiced (PRJT13 Postings Balance)?We are using Time Registration for Contractors to Enter Time Sheets. We then match the Supplier Invoices from the Contractors against the Project Transactions. These use PRJT13 - Project Time Reporting for Contractors Counter Booking. The Project Transactions Time Transaction credits PRJT13. When the Supplier Invoice is matched it debits PRJT13. At any time there will be a balance in the General Ledger in the Account used by PRJT13 relating to to the Contractor Time that has been registered but not yet invoiced (similar to the Purchase Order Receipts leaving a balance in the Account used by M91 relating to what we see in the “Received - Not Yet Invoiced” Report.Thanks for any help.Cheers,Graham

Steps to recreate issue observed in Cloud 24R2: Identify a customer that has more than 25 Address IDs. Navigate to Customer > Address. Expand Address ID dropdown. Scroll to bottom of list and click Show More - repeat until the end of the list is reached Count the number of Address IDs from the full list.Expected result: All customer Address IDs are displayed in the list.Actual result: Some Address IDs are missing from the list. In my example, the customer has 34 distinct Address IDs in the database, but only 25 are visible in the list. Can anyone recreate this? The workaround for now is to open the filter panel and enter the customer number in the customer filter - then all addresses are loaded in the list.  

Hi All,We are facing an issue with IFS Cloud when uploading XML files to a third-party SFTP server hosted by a bank.When IFS Connect uploads the file to the SFTP server, it follows this pattern:Initially uploads the file as:ISO20022_55c5746a-XXXXXX.xml.partThen attempts to rename it to:ISO20022_55c5746a-XXXXXX.xmlIt seems the rename operation might be failing or getting blocked, possibly due to security policies on the bank’s SFTP server. In some cases, the connection is dropped or blocked entirely after this step.Has anyone else experienced this behavior with IFS Connect and SFTP?Is there a configuration in IFS Cloud to avoid using .part extensions?Skip or handle rename conflicts gracefully?Any best practices when uploading to strict SFTP servers (e.g., those that don’t allow overwrite or rename of existing files)?How can we ensure a smooth, secure transfer without triggering security measures?Any insights, experiences, or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance

Objective: Access Template that gives view access to all usersThe solution to this used to be to create an Access Template with the Person ID = *This worked so long as * was not the person ID for the appowner, IFSAPP. (Easy solution: make a new person ID = IFSAPP and associate it with the user IFSAPP.)However, when a customer using Cloud 24R2 SU8 tried to do this, there was an error message that * is not allowed as a Person ID; no mention about appowner, just that * is not allowed at all.If that’s the case, what is the solution for this common business requirement.Thanks

I have a strange problem. I have developed a SQL Quick Report which execute perfectly: returns 19 rows as expected but no data is shown in some of the columns. These columns are related to Shop Order Costs.So if I log in to IEE,  go the the SQL QR and execute it: the cost columns are empty for all 19 rows. If I open the Shop Order Costs form, filter to the same order_no than the SQL QR: I can see the costs. Now if I go back and execute the SQL QR I get: 19 rows and all the empty cost columns are now full of number!What the hell is going on? Anyone have ideas?

Hi,for one of our customer (Alliance 15.4.3), in several modules (Customer Center, Service Order,..) when the "quick search" field is filled-in in the QBE, then if you want to export the data listed in the scroller (in xls file for example), there are some cases where nothing happens : the is no exported file,  no error message and nothing is written in the log viewer. It’s stange because : - Case 1 : if you fill-in the "quick search" field (and only it) in the QBE with “COMPANY_A”, Alliance extracts N lines, but if you click to export those lines / choose xls file / and “submit”, nothing happens. - Case 2 : if you fill-in the "company" field (and only it) in the QBE with the same value “COMPANY_A”, Alliance extracts exactly the same N lines than in case 1 and the export function works well, you obtain the xls file…So for the SAME data listed in the scroller, you can export in the case n°2 but not in the case n°1. And for an other value, “COMPANY_B” for example, no problem. Hi,Our customer has an issue with OCI punchout with a supplier. Once the shopping is checked out no parts/lines are transferred from the punchout to IFS shopping cart. I investigated and found out that the JSON message we are receiving(for method Self_Serv_Shop_Cart_Util_API.Receive_Punchout_Response()) is missing parameters UserId, Supplier and most importantly BuyerCookie. The customer confirmed that they are sending these parameters in the POST request as below.  Also I have asked them to change the format as UserId[0], BuyerCookie[0], Supplier[0] just to test it out, but still we get the same issue.It seems the format of the POST request for the 3 parameters is wrong so its not mapping them to the Json message. We are under the impression that we have to create one sales part number and a different part number for purchases so we can track our inventory correctly. Is this true or is there a way to use the same part number for sales to customers and for purchase of components that go into top level parts we sell to customers?For example, we buy widget A under part number A001. This part is used in 10 other top-level parts we manufacture. We sell A001 as a top-level part to customers. So, for inventory tracking, we have the sales part A001 in sites 1 and 2 coded accounting group code 30 for Finished Goods. The purchase part A001 we have coded with accounting group code 10 for Purchased Part. It seems we are reserving the purchase parts for sales to customers versus using them to build top level parts for sale.Also, unfortunately, it seems our controller can’t seem to run month end reporting with correct inventory figures since we use the same part number for both sales and purchasing. We are currently working on our IFS Cloud Upgrade project. So we have installed 25R1SU5 on test environment and 24R2SU9 on our dev.This week we realized that the Web DevTools are no longer working for both environments.I suspect the latest update(s) for MS Edge to be the cause of this problem. The problem manifests itself like this. I open IFS Cloud, active the devtools link. Then I press F12 and I can see the standard network traffic from IFS Cloud and I can also Inspect web page elements.As soon as I activate the IFS Web DevTools there is only the start page shown. No network or trace information:Also the network traffic is no longer recorded and stopped. I cannot inspect page elements anymore and the reload for the page is not working. Is anybody else experiencing this problem and has found a solution?

Is it possible to estimate when improvements to conditional formatting will be available in the IFS Cloud?The options for conditional formatting in the IFS Cloud are significantly more limited compared to APPS10.The number of available colors is considerably smaller. Only the background, not the text itself, can be formatted. Text styles (bold, italic) cannot be adjusted. The available operators are also significantly restricted. We particularly miss the ability to search for parts of labels (e.g., "~pipe" for "contains pipe"). We are currently unable to replicate all the formatting options used in APPS10.Conditional formatting is a valuable tool for ensuring readability and a quick overview of tables. We hope that the familiar functionality will soon be available in the IFS Cloud as well. Best regardsJakob

Details: I have a Customer Order line with Package Part QW-CW-02-PKG. I created a reservation only for one Component Part: CM2I-000000019 (glass). Only this item will be shipped now; the other components will be shipped later. I created a Shipment, and from Available Order Lines I used Connect To Shipment to attach the CO line. In Package Structure, I created a package (box) and wanted to place the glass component into it. On the package node I used Right-click → Connect Order Line(s). The dialog shows only the Package Part header line and tries to add the whole package part. Since the whole header is not fully reserved, it does not allow me to add it. I also tried Connected Order Lines → Right-click → Generate Structure, but no component lines appeared. Question:What is the correct way in Apps 8 to add a single Component Part (e.g., 8CM2I-000000019) from a Package Part into a package on the Shipment (without shipping the entire package part or all components)? Hi all, Issue:When we create a manually opened shop order and complete it, we can Receive Shop Order without any problem.However, when the shop order is created from a Customer Order by choosing Supply Code = Shop Order, the receive action fails with the error:The Inventory Part In Stock object does not exist.Question:What could be causing this error when receiving a shop order that was created from a CO (pegged SO)? Any known configuration, process setting, or prerequisite we should check?Notes: Error occurs right after reporting completion and trying to receive. Manually created SOs do not show this behavior. Hi All, In IFS Apps10 an error occurs when trying to modify Shop Floor Clockings of an operation because the resource assigned to the work center does not exist. IFS displays an error message stating that Resource PW21 does not exist for Work Center PW33. This is correct.However, the clocking was actually performed on Work Center PW21 and Resource PW21.When the error is debugged, it is identified that if the Clocking which is trying to modify starts on 9.00am 01/11/2025 and ends at 12.00pm 12/11/2025, the backend validation checks all clocking entries across the entire site within that time range. If any time is reported for a different Work Center than the one specified in the Shop Order Operation, for any shop order in the site, the system raises an error. Interestingly, the Workbench functionality in IFS allows changing the Work Center as well, which seems to contradict this validation behavior.Has anyone encountered this issue before or found a suitable workaround for it?
