Hi All,It is possible to incomplete or cancel an assignment sent to mobile from Backoffice. Additionally, is there anyway to changing the status to other way? Any tricks?Use Case: Technician is working in offline area and started work. Due to the SLA requirement, the status of the work task should be changed to a status such as “On Route” or “Work Started”.  However, since the technician is offline, the status is not updated simultaneously. The Backoffice cannot update the status since it is downloaded to the mobile.Does anyone have an idea on how to handle a situation like this? TIA.

Hello,While using the Service module > Work Task screen, we have the option to enter a Fixed Price line for a sales part from the Sales tab. Work TaskWhereas while using the Service Management module > Request Work Task screen, we do not have the option to enter the Fixed Price in the Cost Type dropdown. Is there a reason for removing this option from the list? If so, is there an alternative way to add the fixed price? Please let me know.Request Work Task 

Hi All,When we have an Incompleted assignment in a request work task, the request work task cannot be transferred to “Work Done” status automatically even after we completed a different assignment with the same resource. We can mannually change the request work task status at from the header.Is this the built functionality?  TIA.

Hi All, Do we have a way to create two work assignments for below requirement.There should  be two or many assignments where one assignment is primary (task leader) and others are secondary.  Only reporting should be done by the primary assignment. Others are supportive and do not report time to the work. It is like booking of few other resources to support main assignee.Crew functionality does not matching with this since these grouping are dynamic and short term. In IFS, if you create assignments all has to complete the work to automatically transfer the work task status to “Work Done”.Is there a way to work with a primary assignment and a dummy assignments? TIA.

Hello,While creating a calendar based PM Action with WO generation lead time, the ‘remaining to due’ field is including the weekends as well even though the Maintenance Calendar excludes weekends.For example: The start date in the maintenance trigger is set to 23/02/2026 and the WO generation lead time is set to 1. The expectation is the Due Date should be considered as 20/02/2026 and automatically generate the WO based on the database task scheduled which does not work.But in the Maintenance Plan, the remaining to due field shows the number of days as 3 including the weekends. If we have the WO generation lead time as 3, then I’m able to trigger the WO using database task. I believe the due date and remaining to due fields must exclude weekends as per the calendar but can someone please confirm if this is the expected behavior? 

After creating a custom projection with entity associations and building a custom page with binding I cannot get the custom fields to show in the list builder. I verified they are not making it to the metadata and tried to change the view to the _CFV with no results. Tried clearing metadata cache and projection cache in addition. All additional views have custom fields enabled for the referenced entity. Is there a way to enable these custom fields somehow?  

 We are trying to figure out how we can determine what projections are being used by our various groups. This will help us in our prioritizing validation efforts in our next upgrade.  We see the most recently used applications upon login.  I noticed that those are the same across browsers, so I doubt those are kept locally.  If they are kept in a table, we could mine that over time and correlate that to different user permission sets to get a better picture.Has anyone ever figured out how to mine this data?

Hello, we have a situation where we send material to a supplier and they provide us with a credit (i.e. no physical parts).  The process can take months and we want to know how much is at the supplier waiting for credit.  Ideally, we would have a purchase part (non-inventory) created on the purchase order line, be able to issue materials randomly.  Once the supplier has assessed the materials they determine the credit and report back to us.  So there is no correlation between the material sent and the amount of credit received.  While the material is at the supplier we would like to have the visibility of the material in our outside processing warehouse.  When the PO is received for credit, all the material issued to that line would be backflushed from the outside processing warehouse.We are on IFS Cloud 24R2Thanks in advance. 

I’m getting reports from Technicians using Mobile Edge (Astea Mobile), on Android devices with 0s 16, unable to select Astea Mobile from Play Store and getting message “This app isn't available for your device because it was made for an older version of Android” Has anyone else encountered this problem, or know of a solution? The application allows defining future valid‑from dates for tax codes only if the tax code is not a duplicate. While this behavior is understandable as the standard application logic, it becomes a limitation in scenarios where tax rates are expected to change in the future. In such cases, users are unable to maintain multiple future tax rates for the same tax code.Currently, the only possible workaround is to create a new tax code with a different ID, even though it represents the same tax code with a revised rate. This results in multiple tax codes being created in the application, as the system does not allow maintaining the same tax code with different rates across different validity periods.If the application could filter and identify valid tax codes based on their validity period dates in the tax codes window, it would be possible to define multiple tax codes with the same ID but different tax rates.For example, the tax code ST may have a rate of 25% valid from 01/01/2026 to 31/12

Hello All,I have a customer requirement, where they want to run a periodical capitalization and revenue recognition. However, they do not want to reverse the revenue recognition postings on next period rather they want to keep calculating and posting the revenue to be recignized on the periodical basis.Ultimately, they are looking for the result fo monthly report and yearly report for revenue recognized for a long term projects which has ifecycle of minimum 3 years?I know IFS standard functionality, will always reverse the previous period voucher and calculate again cumulative amount to be recongnized. but did anyone has similar kind of requirement and solution suggestion for this?ThanksRaj

Need some advise please We are using Rental Workbench to control external supplier hire. We created a Date Exception ID to not pay for bank holidays. This means transactions will not generate for those days. However some suppliers have charged us for these days, we have tried to create a manual event at standard 100% price factor on that day, however it records the manual event but will not create transactions for that missing date. I have tried removing the date exception ID and repeating the steps but this still does nothing. We now cannot match invoices because there is a cost of a single day missing, hoping there is an easy front end fix to this issue!

We have recently upgrade to 25R2, and there are few screens added recently Service>Scheduling>Resources, Activities, Map, Assistance but unable to see any data in these screens.I can access the PSO and can see all the resources activities etc but these screens are blank.Any idea on the above, thanks!!
