Auto-Generate a report to generate the "Result Key" IFS24 R2

Hello Community, I hope you are all doing well. I am currently working on an Event Action that sends an email and would like to include a report—specifically the "NCR Report"—as an attachment. I have already configured the logic for the Event Action, but I need to automate the generation of the report so it gets archived in the Archive Report page, thereby creating a Result Key. fyi. I do not need to generate the email attachment via PDF_REPORT_CREATED , because I need to generate the report via code to be able to archive or create the Result Key.My main question is: how can I programmatically generate this report and have it archived in the Archive Report page to obtain the Result Key? Are there any code examples or APIs I can use for this purpose?Additionally, I’m trying to trace the internal calls in IFS Cloud 24R2 but haven’t been able to identify the specific API responsible for this. I’ve tried using the inspection tools, but the report execution doesn’t seem to show a clear API

Automated Email for Automatic Order Processing (AOP)

Hi,I have set up a new Order processing type, which would release a PR, convert it to a PO, Release the PO and then Print the Purchase Order.  I have then scheduled Automatic Order processing against this order processing type. I have successfully been able to get through all of the steps. I am now looking to have the printed PDF sent to the supplier. I have the Email Purchase Order check box selected on the supplier.I also have a default email comm method and a contact listed on the supplier.  Unfortunately, I have not been able to successfully have the email send out.Additionally, I would like to edit the subject and body of the email.  I am not sure that I can use an event based on the PDF_REPORT_CREATED as the email address for the supplier would not be available (not sure about this statement though) Not sure what setup I am missing to have this functionality work as expected.

Utilizing PLSQL_REST_SENDER_API to call a REST endpoint via a custom event

Hi Experts,I'm currently making a REST call to a third-party system using the IFS Custom Event action type "REST Call" to create a new customer. The payload is simple: { "CustomerId": "&NEW:CUSTOMER_ID", "Name": "&NEW:NAME" }This works fine for sending data. However, I need to capture the response from this call—specifically when the customer creation fails, it should log that error into a custom table/custom LU in IFS. Although I can view the response in the Application Messages, I think querying those messages and updating the custom Logical Unit (LU) might not be reliable when multiple requests are being processed concurrently.I'm considering using the PLSQL_REST_SENDER_API in the event action (with type ‘Execute Online SQL’) to make the call synchronously, so I can capture the response directly and log any errors immediately into the custom LU.Could anyone provide guidance or an example of how to use PLSQL_REST_SENDER_API for a synchronous REST call and handle the response?

Hello,while executing WO creation via migration job (procedure name: MIGRATE_SOURCE_DATA) i received such information: There is no information about any errors, but the WO record is not created in the application.Maybe someone knows what does such information means?Thank you beforehand!!!!

Project SO created by duplication loses preposting on deletion of original SO

I appreciate this is an unusual set of circumstances but has anyone come across this? -Add demand to project with Supply code of Shop Order-Create SO via Create Project Supply-In Shop Orders screen, duplicate this shop order - give it a different ID - saveAt this point, project connection and pre-postings are correct.  In fact, both Shop Orders have the same PreAccounting ID (you know what’s coming...)-Delete original shop orderRemaining, newly created by duplication (same scenario if copied/pasted) shop order has now lost it’s project pre-posting/connection to activity but still shows source as ‘Project’.We can understand why - both SOs had the same PreAccounting ID so delete the SO with that PreAccounting ID and you don’t have that detail any more - but don’t believe the PreAccounting IDs should be the same.  Should there be some refresh/reallocation of PreAccounting ID on save of newly created/duplicated shop order?  We’re on 23R1.10 but have the same scenario in 24R1.10.  We have r

Push notifications - MWO

Hi All,One of our clients needs to use push notifications in MWO to use only for certain events only such as priority 1 assignment. They don't want to receive default notifications such as new assignment and pool work. Is there a way to disable default notifications (new assignment, pool work)? As I experienced, we can only enable/disable push notifications feature completely.  TIA.

Operation Start Date on Shop Order Pick List

When we have a lot shop order pick lists to do picking and delivery of material to shop floor, we were used to prioritize shop order picking to warehouse using column “Operation Start Date” from “Shop Order Pick Lists” page in Apps 10, since we reserve and create shop order picking list by operations to deliver material to shop floor in same order that our processes need to be assembled. For instance.Operation 100 Shop Order Start Date 2025-05-02Operation 110 Shop Order Start Date 2025-05-15Operation 120 Shop Order Start Date 2025-05-30But since we moved it to IFS Cloud, that column is missing.  Is there any other way to warehouse staff can prioritize shop order picking sorting by oldest to newest Operation Start Date  in IFS Cloud to support and see where to focus?If not, it would be great have that column “Operation Start Date” back to IFS Cloud. We really appreciate your inputs.

Change Object ID of a Object

In 22R1 there is a new concept introduced to identify equipment object, key will be “Equipment Object Sequence”. Object can be moved from one site to another, also to another company. What appears to be not possible is to change Object ID. I am currently in project where the Object ID itself tells in which process facility etc. the object is located and therefore they are constantly (in their legacy system) changing the Object Identification. The object ID could change from e.g. 10-22-45-67-11 => 10-22-44-67-11. There is of course a unique ID in the background, similar to Equipment Object Sequence.  Once we now have a new key, Equipment Object Sequence, does it make easier or even practically possible to make modification that would allow to change the Object ID?  Is that kind of functionality in the requirements backlog? Viewing the location in functional hierarchy in equipment object navigator has been proposed, but the problem is that it does not show the parent structure of give

IFS Cloud - Sorting Register Arrivals screen by Promised Receipt Date

Why is it not possible to quickly sort the Register Arrivals screen in IFS Cloud by Promised Receipt Date, i.e. oldest first? Is there a way for functional users to do this easily, and if not, what could possibly be the reason for this? In other screens it is easy to sort by date, but seems to have been removed from Register Arrivals?

Invoice Fee - Extend indicator to cover Customer Invoices

Topic: As part of user experience it’s beneficial to be easily observe, whether invoice fees has been applied to specific Customer Invoice.Issue: In IFS Cloud Instant Invoices have dedicated attribute to indicate, whether specific invoice contains Invoice Fees. This is solved with simple “Invoice Fee” - Yes/No string. This same option is not supported on Customer Order Invoices, which means users are not provided with a solution to confirm whether the invoice has the invoice fees included or not.Solution: Extend the Invoice Fee field from Instant Invoice to also cover Customer Order related invoices.

Cancelled PO for Outside Subcontracting Won't Generate a New Requisition

We have an issue where a shop order with an outside operation has a requisition that has been converted to a purchase order BUT the PO has been cancelled. Even though the PO is cancelled, IFS won’t generate another requisition for this outside operation step. Ship WIP to Supplier is Visible because we’ve reversed the Ship WIP. Purchase requisition is still the cancelled PO.Line in status “PO Created”PO CancelledMRP won't generate another requisition for this order. I just ran it and did a search for my order ref 1 and this is the only requisition that shows up. The only way I can see to fix this is to uncancel the order in the DB.

Configure attachment to only display in one tab

In Apps10, is it possible to configure an attachment (based up on the text that is in it’s title) to only be visible in one tab but not any others?I want to add an attachment to the Work Orders tab in Project Navigator but I don’t want this attachment visible in any other tab. It is a pdf but it has to only be visible in Work Orders if the name has “Checklist” in it.Is this possible?Thank you.

Prorated Leave Balance Calculation

Hi,One of our customer(using IFS Apps-10), has changed their HR calendar from July-June to January-December. Now, from July’22- De’22 they will get the leave balance equal to that they would be getting for the full year, i.e. July’22- Jun’23. And from Next January’23 they will be having new leave balances. FSM Sync rule result

Hi experts,I’m noticing a difference in the number of Place records when testing the baseline Place sync rule. When I run the Place sync rule XML through the XML Poster for a technician, it returns more records than what actually ends up in the Place table of the mobile database after initialization.Could it be that other sync rules are removing some of the records fetched by the Place sync rule? Or are there any baseline-level filters applied by the FSM framework during the initialization process?Has anyone come across this before?Appreciate any insights. Thanks! :)

IFS Cloud: Excel Migration Search Issue

Hi, I am trying to bulk migrate data using IFS Excel Add-in - 23.1.8 and every time I use Search to extract data into the Web Excel spreadsheet, it loads thousands of the same entry (see picture). Now I have used the add-in in the past and it works. I believe it is only happing to this specific migration job, more specifically the page (or view). I have tried creating new migration jobs with the same Page and I stumble across the same issue every time. I created this entry in IFS, there are thousands of the same entry appearing here.Here is the migration job details: Yes, I also have custom field values (CFV) being utilized. Thank you.

Qty per assembly field is not accepting numbers with "Broken" rounding

Hello, When I try to enter a broken number in the Qty per assembly field, it is not accepting rounded numbers.In the example, I try to enter a value of 2.8 kg, when I press the tab key it automatically changes to 28 kg, ignoring the decimal place.Has anyone seen this before?

What is the use and purpose of the ability to add a new line to a project invoice

In a Project Invoice we have the lines tab and that tab has the ability to add a new line.  When we do add a new line, the only thing we can add is an item no and description.  What is the purpose of this ability? Thank youPatrick

Hi Community, The find and replace dialog has no replace just find when cntrl-h or rmb->edit>find and replace is clicked. However, the replace appears for another user with the same IFS permissions.This occurs in the customer invoice analysis and other IFS screens.

Certified Value is 0

I have created a contract with valuation based on Quantity. I have quantity as 10, i created a valuation for quantity 5 and certify > create supplier invoice and match. No problem.When i try to create a new valuation and enter 5 remaining qty, the valuation is created and certified value is picked for 5 quantity but when i try to Certify it says , The Net Certified value is 0, Certification is not allowed.i did check the Net Certified Value and it is 5000. ( 1000 per item rate),
