When the application user has created a session via the Odata container to the database, what is the fact that define time session idle timeout process ? Either database MAX_IDLE_TIME parameter or Is there any function or parameter which available from Odata to define an idle timeout for application users and their sessions ?
We just moved from 22R1 to 23R1Su4. After the update our windows 11 users quite often gets bluescreen in windows when logging on to IFS. After blue screen the windows restarts. It’s happening in both Edge and Chrome browser, but it’s a bit random and happens for about 30% of the login attepts. We have Dell Latitude laptop, and had no issues with these on 22R1.Are anyone else experiencing similar problems?
I have a upgraded Maintenance Purchase Order Requisition from apps 9 to cloud.In the Part Requisition Lines, when I try to create a Requisition to Order on one of the lines I get an error that the Maint_Material_Order_No is mandatory for Jt Task Mat Line Pegging and requires a value. Does anyone know why this error pops up when trying to process the Requisition to Order.

When a new delivery has been made, the customer must ensure the rebasing is done in the Page Configurations.This process seems very fragile, where a wrong step can cause the delivery to fail and not be applied in the applicable place in the system.The answer from IFS when this happens is that the delivery must be redone.Is there a plan to strengthen the system framework to allow for roll back to be able to redo the rebasing when needed?Or to have some warning to let the customer know that the rebasing is being done incorrectly?It seems kind of fragile that one mistake can wreck a delivery that could have been months in the planning,Br Hans

We are receiving this error message from our environments. We have done a Dictionary Cache Refresh but a deployment has not been done for 4 days. Error stack:Bad metadata error:The group: CustomerOrderDeliveryGroup does not exist in dictionary! We do our own deployments and develop in the Cust Layer just as FYI. Did Refreshing the Dictionary Cache do something from our last deployment that caused this issue or how do these groups relate to the Dictionary Thanks

Hi all.We’ve been testing the new Conditional Formatting feature to be added in 23R1. One user inquired about whether or not its possible to utilize Conditional Formatting for Date fields. In their example, they were hoping to mark all activities past a finish date in red. The dropdown in the conditional formatting menu did not include this date. The menu does include some Date fields as options, but not all of them, and the “Condition” option only brings up the standard date selector from the filter view. Have specific date fields purposefully not been added, and is it possible to add better options to the “Condition” field for Date fields in general. Also are there any plans to adjust the dropdown list to be in alphabetical order, and allow users to type in the column name into the Formatting Attribute or Column fields to find the desired column faster. Currently the user is required to scroll down and find the correct column they wish to use.
Hi, The customer is upgrading from APP9 to APP10UPD16 and we have been experiencing a massive slowness in the execution of the script POST_SLA_DataUpgrade.sql which is now running for over 7 hours and counting (upgrade is still ongoing). In previous upgrade iterations in the same server, the script has executed in under 2 hours. There is also an increase of around 50000 work orders in the latest data set used. Has anyone else experienced this during recent upgrades? Any performance tuning or known causes for such a slow execution?
Hi,in the technical documentation is mentioned this below : My question is how to get those templates, i can’t find them.Configuration Specifications¶When a Consultant or Customer BA is designing a configuration to be developed by another party, it is recommended to use the template document in the IFS Value Services Portfolio > CRIM Specifications > Configuration Specification Template.This is a different template to the Functional Specification (intended for Development specifications).
Hello Can any IFS Customers, Partners or IFS Consultants in the Community elaborate on an upgrade you’ve made from IFS App9 to the Cloud?We are in App9 UPD14, we are debating to go through App10 or not. What do you think?We have quite a lot of customizations and configurations and maybe, only maybe, some of them will not be needed after the upgrade. Thanks!
Though we don’t have any CRIM but still we are getting 2 files getting impacted as high while doing the impact analysis which we are trying to upgrade the Customer solution repository from 22.2.7 to 23.1.2 , Could you please help how to deal with these files to process further.
We use Folders heavily in EE and have been struggling with the end users on the use of document management in Aurena. We use a lot of dragging between folders in the document navigator. The only thing we have found was to copy/write down the document number - delete it from the “From” folder then connect/insert existing document to the “To” folder. I did not find anything in Help nor in the Community. Although the Aurena vs Enterprise Explorer post from 2 years ago was very helpful. Has anyone identified a move equivalent for this scenario?
