We are implementing Pagero for e-invoicing in France, we are in version 24R1 and our version does not support the UBL format, we know the new format is available in version 25R2 (which we cannot update at this moment), can we request this structured file in a patch? or how do other IFS customers are handling this issue. thanks,
Please advise if changing the supplier after release of a quotation is possible. We get an error that says it is not, have to cancel the line and re-enter it to choose an alternate supplier. This should be standard functionality even if it changes to revised status. We should not be locked into the supplier only because we released the quote.
My customer is currently running IFS Cloud 25R1 SU3, and the business is interested in upgrading directly to 26R1 or 26R2. Is a direct upgrade path supported from 25R1 SU3 to these releases? If we proceed with this approach, what potential technical challenges, risks, prerequisites, and upgrade considerations should we be aware of during the planning and implementation phases? Could you please provide your recommendations and any associated limitations?
We recently completed an upgrade from IFS Applications 10 to IFS Cloud 25R2 and encountered two items that did not appear to migrate as expected.1. Custom RDL Report LayoutsThe custom Report Layout definitions were present after the upgrade, however the associated client-developed RDL binaries were not available in the target IFS Cloud environment. As a result, the layouts existed but the report content itself had to be redeployed.Questions:Is it expected that custom RDL binaries are not migrated as part of the Apps10 to IFS Cloud upgrade process? If so, what is the recommended migration approach for customer-developed RDL binaries? Are there any prerequisites or upgrade steps that would cause the binaries to be excluded during migration?2. Custom Lobby Data SourcesWe also observed that customer-developed Lobby Data Sources from Apps10 were not present after the upgrade to IFS Cloud. Standard functionality appears intact, but the custom data sources had to be recreated manually.Questio
Hi all,We are planning a release update from IFS Cloud 24R2 to 26R1, roughly 16 weeks with Build Place upgrade in Week 3 and Production go-live in Week 14.The business runs 2-week sprints and expects continuous delivery. Once the Build Place is on 26R1, sprint changes cannot go to Production until go-live, and we have no 24R2 line for emergency fixes.Questions:Is running two Build Places in parallel (24R2 for Production support, 26R1 for upgrade work) a supported approach? If yes, how do you re-apply 24R2 emergency fixes into the 26R1 solution so they are not lost at cutover? Have others used a code freeze instead? How long was practical?Any experience would be appreciated. Thanks
We have installed “IFS solution ID 311165 which include Binary patch 10.26.28.0” for solving vulnerabilities with log4j.Are there other patches available fix other security related issues like commons_text etc?I have been asking around for mws security here before, and I am still working with this customer wants to secure their IFS10 UPD11 environment while they are focusing on the IFS Cloud upgrade.
Hello, we are trying to find if you can roll an environment back from 25R2 to 25R1 or any other major release in the use place if you wanted to go back? We are unable to find this information docs.ifs.com or knowledge base. And it is possible, can anyone please share steps or document on how to request that.
Please can you let us know the process to downgrade service update from latest version to old version in Use place
When can we expect to see the functionality changes in Cloud21R1?
As part of the upgrade from IFS 10 to IFS Cloud 25R2, we have to manually add hundreds of custom fields to various pages and list views manually. For each Logical Unit, open the Page designer for the Page and click + add the field, change the label, go up again , click + and repeat. Then for that LU, repeat the same process for the List page. We understand this is a one time (painful) process. At a minimum, IFS should provide a way to add all the custom fields in one go to a specific context on a given Page or List.Ideally, we should be able to select the required attributes from the Custom Attributes page, enter the context name and they should be added to that context in one go. Then we can use Page Designer to edit as needed. Is there a better way to do this than the one by one approach?
There used to be an option called Deferred Enable when making custom commands to trigger workflows for several selected rows at the same time. It looks as it has been removed in 25R2SU8 (old picture 25R2SU2) (New picture 25R2SU8)is there a way to get the same functionality in 25R2SU8??
Are there any plans to support IFS Cloud on newer Ubuntu versions? We’re currently running 24r2.14 on 22.04.5 and are planning to go to 26r2 early next year. is 26r2 planned to be supported on on Ubuntu 22.04.5? Our Linux/Unix security folks are asking if we can move to a newer version of Ubuntu?Canonical appears to be supporting 22.04 until at least 2027 unless extended support is purchased. Would appreciate any comments.
in earlier versions of IFS cloud, when printing a report; for instance Customer Ledger Open Items. The data was stored in cust_open_item_rep, which could be accessed via Quick Report and hence be exported to excel. These views are empty when printing reports in 25R2, are the information stored elsewhere now?
We are about to begin our implementation journey to IFS Cloud. Does anyone know where I can find IFS’ detailed documentation methodology (phases, detailed definitions...)?
Hi, I’m coming to you because I would like to upgrade an unfinished release update branch 25R2SU2 to 26R1SU2. A delivery 25R2SU2 was created and applicated on a use place environment. The master branch is actually on 25R1SU8 and I don’t want to modify it.On build studio I ran an impact analysis and now I would like to request the release update, but this command/button isn’t visible on my portal. Is this because my release update environment hasn't been finalized, a permissions issue, or some other reason ? Do you think I should delete my unfinished branch release update and begin a new with 26R1 ?I follow this documentation https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/ale/020_lifecycle/080_release_update_studio/020_request_release_update/010_create_sales_quotation/ but I’m actually limit. If you have a solution, I'll take it!
In times when I worked for IFS myself (now I am with a customer) there used to be a Master Data spreadsheet that helped as a template to start digging into what master data have to be looked at in each functional area and also to assign responsibilities in the organisation. Is there still something out there?
Hican someone let me know when UPD31 will be released for app10 please? thanksGary
Hi Team, I have isntalled the IFS cloud 26R1 but after logingn screen is coiming as blank/empty . Any one faced this issue before? RegardsSuraj

Hi IFS team,We support a client currently running IFS Cloud 24R2. Per the Support Policy (Continuous Support Model), 24R2 will lose Current Release status once 26R2 goes GA, since only the latest Release plus the three previous ones are supported at any time. This would end Service Updates and support for 24R2.Could you confirm:1. The planned/confirmed GA date for IFS Cloud 26R22. The exact date 24R2 will exit Current Release status and stop receiving Service Updates3. Whether a formal retirement notice for 24R2 has already been posted on Community (per the 12-month advance notice commitment in the Support Policy)This will help us plan our client's upgrade timeline. Thanks in advance.
Hi all,We're planning an IFS Cloud upgrade from 24R2.2 to 26R1, skipping 25R1 and 25R2 as intermediate go-lives.Could someone confirm:1. Can the technical Release Update in Release Update Studio/Build Place be executed directly from 24R2.2 to 26R1 in one operation, or does it need to run sequentially through 25R1 and 25R2 first?2. If sequential, does each intermediate release update need to be fully completed (and environment stable) before starting the next, or can they be chained back-to-back without a separate go-live at each stage?3. Beyond the individual release notes, are there known issues specific to multi-release jumps we should plan for — e.g., EBR/database compliance prep, IFS Connect configuration resets, or custom lobby/report regressions?Any guidance from partners or customers who've done a similar multi-release upgrade would be very helpful. Thanks!

As the IFS system administrator, I am reaching out to seek clarification regarding the possibility and requirements for upgrading our Oracle Database from version 19.26.0.0 to 19.27.0.0 or 19.29
We are in the process of upgrading IFS Cloud from 24R1 to 25R2 and noticed all of our lobbies (standard or custom) are impacted negatively when zooming the lobby over 100%. The elements will get “cut off” with no ability to zoom.Has anyone else been experiencing this? I couldn’t find any posts or knowedgbase articles on it.
