Hi all, sales department wants to assign NACE rev 2 code to customers in IFS app 10. Is there standard screen/field where this is stored, or anyone has experience of using alternative way to assign this code? Thank you for your input. 

Pre-requisites• Serial tracked part with product structure and routing a) Create Shop order for Serial tracked part > RMB > tracking > Reserve Serial No. > release the SOb) Shop order> RMB> reports>  barcode labelsc) Observe the Inventory part Barcode analysis window for the corresponding part  & serial number combination- one record availabled) Navigate to shop floor workbench> select the SO created> Create reports>> Create barcode label reporte) Navigate to & Inventory part Barcode analysis window >  Query for the corresponding part  & serial number combination Why there are two barcodes are generated for the same serial part?

When you select a file under Document Object connections in Aurena and click on File Operations > Print Document I get the following error.  Does anyone know why this is?

I’ve already found few KBAs which discuss similar topics but none of them were answered with the exact scenario with migrating personal profiles from one environment to another in bulk, hence this community post.We need to find an alternative way to migrate personal profiles instead of manually exporting and importing one at a time which consumes a lot of time and of course not feasible for our IT department. It’s not practical enough to hand the responsibility over to end-users with the necessary grants, which isn’t again a good solution in many aspects.Do you have any bright ideas where we can migrate personal profiles in bulk across environments?Thank you in advance./Manulak

I am trying to use the Rest API in IFS 10.  Currently I am struggling with the authentication.  I have found various posts which some say you can use basic authentication, others say it must be oAuth.  However using basic I am constantly receiving a 401 Unauthorized, i can’t find any official documentation explaining how to authenticate using oAuth.Can anybody help?Thanks

Hi, In my shop order, how can I prevent that an operation can be started before  the previous operation was reported? Using date is not enough, as they are to variable in this case. I want that operation N+1 can only be started if operation N has been reported. Thanks!

 Hi, we want to allow access to the Employee Portal outside of our internal network. is it possible to install the employee portal on a different server to avoid exposing the application server to the world?

We have recently upgraded to FSM 6UPD9 to make use of the ODATA REST APIs in order to integrate our external applications with FSM. Very often we are getting a request channel timeout while using the ODATA REST API’s. Once this starts every call fails. Message:Error occurred while getting EDM model from app server.System.TimeoutException: The request channel timed out while waiting for a reply after 00:00:59.9970047. Increase the timeout value passed to the call to Request or increase the SendTimeout value on the Binding. The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout. The ODATA rest API's makes a call to the FSM server "<perform_get_updated_odata_edm>" to get the data model. It basically asks for the database table structure of ~1200 tables in FSM, which looks to be a very time-consuming operation. We have observed that the ODATA API attempts to refresh the EDM model every time there is a server restart/ IIS reset or whenever we do a refresh cach

Hi, If we remotely initialise a users Mobile App, how long does the request stay in the system. i.e. if they were off work for say 2 weeks for example, would it initialse when they next log on? 

In Aurena we are looking to show the name of an ID field instead of just the ID.  We can create a custom field to do that but, was wondering if there’s a simpler way.  Sometimes the name is an available field and sometimes it’s not.  

Hello Community,In IFS CLOUD, I don’t found yet a similar fonctionality as “send to” function in EE. In EE, this functionality is able to send a notification, linked to an IFS object, to a colleague (other IFS users). It’s very usefull to send some information to other user.Does someone know if there is a similar function in IFS cloud // Aurena? Regards Anthony

Hi AllHave any users in this forum got experience on Migrating a set of documents from Sharepoint to IFS? How did you carry out the migration? What were the challenges you faced in terms of document size, disc space, IFS performance etc? Any reflections on the lessons learnt would be great. Is it possible to create a Quick Report for our history logging in supplier and customer changes?We can order this with the report generator but we need it as QR as well to get an extract in Excel.

Hi,We have started to deploy a newer version of the mobile devices our technicians use.One thing we have noticed is that when initialised the device_id on person_mobile is ‘null’.All the other values are being set on the table correctly with regards to brand, model, os_type and os_version, just nothing for the device_id. The devices are Android and the newer version see’s us go from OS9 to OS10 using FSM Mobile.Is this something set at device level, something missing in the mobile .apk, or something else? Ady

HiUsers seem to be experiencing an intermittent issue recently where they try to attach a document via the file explorer and it immediately shuts down the IFS session.When we try again later it seems to work fine.Any ideas what might be causing this? Thank you
