Project Activity ID sequence

When entering Project Activities using the following numbering structure, it automatically places the order by grouping the numbers as shown, resulting in 1.10 being listed before 1.2 etc. Is there a way to prevent this? 1.11.101.111.21.3I want the sequence to be as follows:1.11.21.31.101.11

Hi we frequently run into issues when we need to update a project connection; once a customer order is already released due to this error message.Has anyone found a way to making changes to get around this error message?.The need to update is due to the wrong activity having been selected by the user in error.

Mass issue inventory par from project materiels and services

Hi Community, I have a question regarding the project module. On the materials and services screen, I have some misc parts that I will supply using MRP. Once the reservation of the parts done, is there any option to do issue in mass all the parts ? It seems that the option is only available for each line individually. There is a possibility to create a project pick list but it seems to be a report and not linked to any logistic process. Any idea or suggestion regarding this process ? Thanks,

Sales Contract Planned Revenue Issue

Dear Colleagues,I encountered an issue with Sales Contract reporting Planned Revenue. There are 4 contracts and only one does not report Planned Revenue. The settings are the same - posting rules, Revenue Codes, definiton of items, etc. TEST is the last one which I created from the scratch with the same settings as W-0002. The prerequistions for reporting Planned Revenue seem to be fullfilled: Any ideas for further checking are very welcome :)Thanks in advance.

Cloud Material Transfer Requisition can only Release one line at a time

In Apps 10 IEE a user can select multiple Material Transfer Requisition Lines and the Release command is available to process them all of them at once. In Cloud 23R2 we are finding that with one selected, the Release command is available. However if the user selects multiple lines, the Release command goes away. We made sure the lines selected are all in Planned status which is a pre-req to be able to release. Is this by design, or is this a bug?Thanks!

Granting access to all projects for a service user/account

Hi,I am developing an integration where the service user connected to and IAM client needs access to all projects in IFS Cloud, restricted or not. Don’t know the project module in IFS Cloud that well but is there another way of granting access, other than the below steps?Creating an employee connected to the service user Adding that employee to a Team Adding all projects in access definition of that Team Setup an event action/workflow that adds access for every future project created I’m using standard projections.

Can't close a Project Activity

Hi,We’re running on IFS CLoud 24.1.4. Accounting is trying to close an old project which dates back from 2018, but are having issues due to project transactions which are not posted. The transactions in question are shown below, they’re time entered by employees working in another company (multicompany transactions). I’ve tried the “transfer project cost accounting transactions” and “update gl vouchers” to no avail. Any advice would be appreciated.

Cannot create an AFP from a Sales Contract Revision with multi-currency lines

Hello experts in the Community,I have a requirement to create an “Application for Payment (AFP)” from a ‘Sales Contract Revision’ that has 2 lines with two different “Item Sales Currency’ values (CAD and USD). Expectation is to create the AFP with CAD where USD line to come in with CAD converted equivalent values. When attempting to create an AFP via “New AFP” dialog box IFS makes it mandatory to select a ‘Currency Code’. In following example, I selected “CAD” as the “Currency Code” as I want to create the AFP in CAD. In the resulting AFP (Application for Payment) only the line #2 and respective Item has made it across to the AFP, which had the “Item Sales Currency” set as “CAD”. Whereas Line #1 and the connected item that had “USD” as the “Item Sales Currency” has fallen off from the Application. MCPR External Supplier Invoice Error

We are trying to create test the MCPR flow in APPS10 version. Trying to send an invoice from company 105 to 155 for time booking. We have the customer and supplier records as below, When trying to create the invoice from ‘Multi-Company External Supplier Invoice’ window gets the below error. If I remove the our ID records from the supplier. It creates the invoice. This works if remove the connection from customer side as well. Anyone has reason and solution for this issue?

Shop floor work bench - can not change company

Hello -We are on Apps 10. On the shop floor workbench screen, why is there no option to change company? The same shop floor employees need to report to shop orders on multiple companies. There is not a change company option on the RMB. Thanks

Project Deliverables - Reserve Serials for Purchase Order and Shop Order for After Delivery Serial Control

Community, We are testing Project Delvierables with parts that are After Delivery Serial Controlled. We are facing issue when final product is to be installed at client site, we have work order to perform this job. since it is to be issued to the delivery structure, per configuration, at this moment the serial no should be identified and captured by the delivery structure, but we have problem doing this, basically we found no place to have this info entered into IFS. We have a very simple delivery structure, top part is a manufactured part, and child is a purchased part, both are after delivery serial tracking. We now have them installed via a work order, see below, on work order material line, i can see this top part RHITEM4 is a serial controlled part. our question is, where we can add the serial no into IFS? Thank you.

Unable to unlink a work task from a Service Contract after a creating a service invoice

We have Work Orders that were not supposed to be attached to a Service Contract.I’ve reopened the Work Order and was able to remove the Service Contract from the WO, but I’m not abe to remove it from the work tasks. I’m getting an error message: Is there another way to unlink the Work Task? The amounts should not be deducted from the Service Bank and should not appear on the Service Bank Report

New Application for Payment, Project ID field is blank, why?

From Sales Contract I’ve started the creation of a new Application for Payment (AFP). In the dialog, shown below, there is a field called Project ID. The pulldown has no values, not even for the project to which the sales contract is connected. What is this field for? How is it used? Why aren’t there any values inserted by the application when the dialog is opened? Example AFP showing Project ID

Delete Project Activity with Baseline.

Hello,I have an activity that I want to delete that has a baseline. When I try, i get an error that “The Activity is used by 1 rows in another object (Project Baseline Detail).I thought we used to have a selection that said to “exclude from project baseline” but in 21R2, I don’t see that selection.How do I go about deleting an activity if it has a baseline?Thank youPatrick

Values not coming in %
