Dear Community Members,I’d appreciate your support in the subject of Projections in IFS Aurena. We are trying to integrate with an external low-code software and we’re searching for an option to create SubContract Valuation with the usage of proper projection/api directly from the low-code. Unfortunately, it seems that there is no ‘entry’ or ’modify’ option. It’s a new area for us so any tips are highly welcomed. Thx in advance,Karolina

Since the “Milestone Operation” will be used in the according Shop Order, it should possible, that this field is behaving the same way in the “Project Operations” (Editable). Then, you could use this field in the Projekt Operations and its Value will also be set in the Shop Order Operations, so that both “Operations” will have the same Values. The field in the Project Operations is set as not editable from the code, it is not fetching a value from somewhere, and also there is no logic written to change its value Basically, this is a “dead” field at the moment (It can’t be used). 1. In the Window “Project Deliverables Design” it is possible, to add “Project Operations”:2. You can add Operation Lines, which will be added to the according Shop Order. But, you can’t active the Radio Box for “Milestone Operation”, if you add a new Line: 3. Also, you can’t change the Value, if you want to edit the Line: 4. Hi All,I’ve an issue that I’m not able to understand: i systematically have a gap between the part unit cost and the panned cost on a project. The cost of raw materials (prod structure) is missing In this example we can constat the issue between a customer order and a project:But i have the same problem withshop orders and misc demands, Does anyone has an idea about this issue? Thanks in advance :) Antoine

 Default Planned Cost driver and Progress method are both set to Connected objects.This settings are rarely in use for estimates and progress in our company…. and our users often forget to change them… this creates a problem when you set your baseline, since it does not fetch our estimates, but try to find amounts from Connected objects.So,-how to change default Planned cost driver and Progress method?That would help our endusers a lot!

Hi!We have a large number of open-ended Service Contracts, each containing one or more Service Lines with a fixed price. The invoicing setup is Invoice Rule = “Post”, and each Service Line uses a Global Non-Inventory Part to represent the fixed price per visit.Each Service Contract currently has its own unique fixed price value.We would like to apply an annual price increase (for example, a percentage uplift each year) across all Service Contract lines at once, without having to manually open and update each Service Contract and Service Line individually.Is there a standard functionality or recommended approach in IFS Cloud that allows: Applying a mass price increase to Service Contract line prices (based on percentage uplift), and Updating the fixed price on the Service Lines accordingly, Without changing the part number structure or manually modifying each contract?

Hi everyone, Does anyone know if there are existing connectors or plug-ins available to integrate IFS Cloud with Oracle Primavera Project Cloud (specifically the Primavera Cloud version, not P6 EPPM)? We’re exploring options for project planning and scheduling synchronization — ideally to exchange WBS structures, activity progress, and milestone updates between the two systems. Any insights, documentation, or examples from similar implementations would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

Hi Community In all of our companies, the following property under the company details is null.  That means, when the multi company employee confirms the time, the Project Manager need not approve for cost accounting right? But only for 2 companies it works as expected. For the rest, the PM needs to approve. How come the behavior is different for 2 companies only? Is there another setting that I am missing here? This is 24.1.9Thanks,Asela  

Hello there,we have a scenario where employees record time to a general project code. The hours relate to more general tasks that cannot be easily identified to specific customer projects.But each month, we would like to allocate this general time across the multiple customer projects based on a % calculated.This is currently handled very manually - exporting general hours, deciding which projects are in scope for allocation, calculating the factor and then importing hours (cr. general code; db. multiple customer projects).Does anyone have a similar scenario and how do you handle this?Is there any standard IFS functionality that could cover this kind of allocation? Or has anyone got a custom development to automate such a process?We are currently in IFS10Thanks in advance!

Hi Everyone,We have observed an issue in the Subcontract module in the 25R1 environment. Scenario: A subcontract, its revision, and items are created. A valuation is created, and ‘Valuation value’ is entered at the item level. When trying to receive the application, the following information message appears:“Application Total Values are not entered on some items.”  (Note: There is only one item available)  Current Workaround:Manually updating the Application Work Value automatically updates the Application Total Value. After this manual update, the application can be received without that information message. Questions / Observations: Once the Valuation Value is updated, shouldn’t the Application Work Value update automatically as well? Is there a way to automate this update, so manual intervention is not required? Are there any impacts on pre-postings if the Application Work Value is left blank?  We would appreciate guidance from the community regarding the correct approach or

The Forecast Version ID field in the Project> Margin tab does not get populated with the latest approved forecast as the reference forecast for some projects only. It updates for 90% projects but does not update automatically for some. We know it can be done manually but does anyone knows the answer why it is not populating automatically with the recently approved forecast details?  

When trying to approve Project Transactions in IFS Cloud. If I select all of the transactions (960) and click Approval for Cost Accounting I get this error. I can only do 500 or less transactions at a time. Are there limitations to the number of records you can mass update? Hi,  (IFS Cloud - 24R2) I have a Sales Contract Item that’s linked to a Project Activity. I want the Revenue from this line to appear on my Project Activity as Planned Revenue. I can see the below from the Help Pages - my question is which posting control linked to this set up? The help page is not too helpful at specifying.

Is there a way to get MTRs to ignore remote warehouses connected to the same site?We use a remote warehouse for consumables in the GMP production suites. This was to isolate it from our main warehouse and for the ability to use the Refill functionality to generate replenishment transport tasks. But we keep getting MTRs for the material in the remote warehouse, instead of the material in the main warehouse.

Hi Everyone,In both Sales Contracts and Sub Contracts, we have set up retention. While executing the contracts, I noticed a difference in how retention impacts the project figures. For example, in a Sales Contract with a total value of 400,000 and a 10% retention, once the Application for Payment is submitted, the Project Posted Revenue is updated to 360,000, with the 40,000 retention correctly deducted.However, in the Sub Contract, once the valuation is certified, the Used Cost is updated without deducting the retention amount. The main issue I’ve identified is that, in the Sales Contract, the Planned Revenue reflects the total contract value, while the Posted Revenue is updated with the retention deducted. In contrast, in the Sub Contract, both the Planned Cost and Used Cost reflect the total contract value without deducting the retention. Could anyone please confirm if this is the expected system behavior or if there might be a configuration or process I’m missing?I would really app

Hi All,When Time Registration is performed in the Projects module for a Contractor, an additional level of detail is revealed where a mandatory PO and PO Line have to be selected.However, when recording time on a Work Task, the selection of a PO and PO Line is not required and no PO connection is required.My indicator for specifying a Resource as a Contractor for Work Task purposes is when the Site Settings on the Maintenance/Service tab for the Resource has a Supplier ID specified.Was there a good reason why the PO and PO Line is not required when registering time for a Contractor on a Work Task ?

Hello everybody,We are going to upgrade to IFS 25R1 and now we have a fresh IFS 25R1 installation. We are testing IFS 25R1 with our data.Unfortunately, we are experiencing troubles when accessing our projects:The project structure tree is not displayed in ‘Project Scope and Schedule’ page The project structure tree is not displayed in ‘Project Gantt’ page When trying to approve or schedule a new project, the following message is displayed:   “You cannot perform this function because your user does not have access to the project or all the subprojects belonging to the project "<Project ID>". Contact the project  manager to review your project access privileges.” This is true for all projects even if I am set as the Project Manager and also the manager of all sub-projects.Currently we are running IFS 23R2 SU 17 without any issues. Issue Description:In project invoices, the net amount appears incorrect on certain lines. While the discrepancies are usually minor, they cause issues when we send the invoices electronically using the Peppol format. This format validates the quantity, unit price, and total price, which results in rejections of these invoices.
