Hi. What is needed to get a IFS certification to be added to MS Trust Center’s Trusted Publishers list to be able to run IFS BR on a local machine?All attempts on adding directories to Trusted Locations list on Trust Center are not adequate as the company policy requires this cert to exist. 

Hello All, Can somebody provide a good document/tutorial/work instructions on how to create a Business Report? I don’t seem to find any good manuals that describe the possibilities and ways that we can use business reporter. For example: - If I use a Repeater on a row, can I use this repeater and define this immediatley as a dynamic XLS table? - Can I make a Pivot table of this? - How can I create a bar chart that takes into account the dynamic range of the repeater? - How to add an additional ‘calculated’ column to the table? (Calculated = I just want the difference between 2 source columns). Thanks for your help! Best RegardsRoel

We are just beginning to use Business Reporter and some of our users are getting this error when attempting to open BR reports to edit:Microsoft Office Document Customization“This document contains custom code that cannot be loaded because the location is not in your trusted locations list:_____________________.  If you trust this document you can save and open it from a location on your computer.  For more information, see ‘http:\\go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=99104.Others users can open any of the reports just fine.I know we can add a location to trusted locations, but to share reports for maintenance this isn’t practical for our purposes, and we would like to understand why this is happening for some users and not others.Has anyone else seen this and found a solution?  We are on Apps10 UPD6, although the same issue occurred on Apps 10 UPD4. 

Hello community,I am trying to install BR for APPs10 through the MSI file, but the following error message is displayedI can’t see nothing in my folder IFS Aplications related to ClickOnce version Also I have disable the COM Add ins just in case.I want to uninstall the CLickOnce and re-install BR through MSI file.THanks and regards

In Apps 10 there was an option to export data, including the output of quick reports, in various different formats. By default this included .xlsx, .xml and .txt (which would be formatted as a CSV) as well as there being a setting to enable more possibilities. Is there similar functionality available in IFS cloud? When pressing the export button it does not give a choice and always exports as a .xlsx.

I know we must pass through the data mart, but my problems are that when I am trying for example to refresh my FACT_CUSTOMER_ORDER_LINE, I am getting the error bellow, and my data mart does not change to FRESH.VERSION: 25.1.5

Everything worked smoothly until Step 3, where the general function tried to locate the params.json file in the following path:C:\Windows\system32\templates\…  Has anyone encountered this issue before or knows how to get params.json file?Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!

Report Filter for Structure Nodes using “BETWEEN” Operator for IFS Business Reporter adds extra data. “IN” Operator works fine. “BETWEEN” Operator works fine only for the Integer Data

We are currently upgrading from Apps10 to IFS cloud . When trying to replicate one of our IAL’s  in IFS Cloud  we noticed some of the called functions in Purchase_Order_Invoice_API are missing when cpmpared to Apps10 e.g. Purchase_Order_Invoice_API.Calc_Invoiced_Unit_Price is no longer present in 24R2. Is there anywhere I can check to see if/when this was deprecated and what the alternatives for these missing functions are?

Hello!I am trying to create a new query with Cloud Query Designer to show orders for a certain sales group that were invoiced “Today”. I added a filter the the Customer Order Invoice date - but I can’t figure out how to set it as a dynamic value for “TODAY”. I’ve tried setting it as a Parameter as well, but then the query prompts me to enter a date to preview the data. This won’t work for us as the intent is to schedule the report to be emailed to a group of users on a daily basis. Is this possible to set the invoice date as a dynamic value of “TODAY” with Query Builder? I’m a novice at query building so any tips someone may have a greatly appreciated.  

I have noticed some views used for data sources (Parquet Files) get delivered without any row data once they land in our ADLS gen2 storage. CUSTOMER_ORDER, PURCHASE_ORDER for example. Other views work absolutely fine - seems to be hit or miss. Does anyone have any idea why that would be the case? I copy the query used by the data pump job into a quick report, and it returns data just fine. Is there a specific account running the job that I can check/update its permissions?

 During the internal setup of IFS Cloud 25R1 Script-Based Infrastructure for Self-Hosted BI, the infrastructure deployment in Azure was completed successfully as per the documentation. I need to add an e-signature to the end of the Purchase Order report. I created a report rule and there is an option to specify the page number on which the signature should appear. However, I want the signature to appear on the last page, and since the total number of pages may vary, I cannot specify an exact page number. Is there a solution for this?Below are the report rule action properties I’m currently using

Hi,I have created a custom field in IFSAPP10 but it is not displayed in IFS Report Designer.Enabled On Reports tick box is ticked as well. Can anyone help me to get the custom field to the IFS Report Designer. 

Starting on July 13, 2024, our data loads started having issues.  We did not have any patching or updates or changes that I can find. Prior to this they were running successfully since deployment for over 6 months. The data load itself has a status of executing with errors.  Each data source shows as Executing, Failed, Success or Submitted.  Most were showing as Submitted.  The BI server errors looked like they were deadlocking them selves.  I put sequential IDs and sequences on all of the data sources and now most show as Success. If I run a data source by itself, then there are no issues. Any help or ideas would be great. Here is the IFS screen examples:  H

IFS Cloud 23R1 SU4I’ve tried scheduling a Business Reporter report with the scheduling functionality introduced in 22R2.I’ve noticed the following:3 application messages are created for below settings the first 2 app messages I understand what they are and I get the email for these notifications The 3rd application message fails with NO ROUTING RULE FOUND. Also the input message only refers to data from report Archive.Does anyone have any idea how is this supposed to work? I don’t wanna have failed application messages. I could create a Routing Rule to catch this message and don’t do anything with it, but I’d like to understand what’s the purpose of the 3rd application message.

Hi all, With Crystal Reports being deprecated, was weighing the alternatives available for regular users to create business reporting. Anyone who has used both Power BI and Business Reporter, what are your thoughts? How do they compare against the visuals, limitations, configurability, integaration with IFS, access etc.I know Power BI will need premium licensing and will have to host the reports on a workspace for them to work.
