Hello, I created some exel report via IFS Business Reporter. I created some UDF function via Microsoft Visual Basic Editor. I used my function in report and it works fine, but problem is, that it works only when I run it. When some other user open this Business Report or is sent via Execution server, UDF function is not in the exel sheet. Could somebody help me how to save macro or UDF correctly in IFS Business Reporter to be globally available? Thank you Romana

Business Reporter has an 32 bit client released. However the customers in large organizations have quite often office 365 64 bit client on company level. This cause an great problem as it requires an standalone computer with an local Office installation outside the company standard.  This require a extra resources for customer IT department and takes resorces from the parter technichians. When will an 64 bit client be available? Please vote if you struggle with the same problem.

Hello,I’m currently operating on IFS v10 and have Business Reporter installed. Everything works fine.Now I’m testing IFS Cloud 25R1. Do I need to install Business Reporter again since the connection will be completely different? That is, I can’t just change the link for connect to:Thank you!

We have been using the Detail Statistics pages in IFS Cloud 24R2 to report Invoiced Sales, Order Entry, etc, it’s a differential update report, so if there are no changes, it doesn’t update the lines. Someone in the organization has updated the name of a large customer, and so now, we have two customer names associated with the customer number in the Detail Statistics.I’m wondering how we could force it to update the lines. I’m guessing with a deletion migration job? BUt I wondered if there was a less scorched earth approach.

Hi All, It should be possible to run IFS “in memory”, this means the data-entry tables will run fully in memory.You will be able to select the tables which run in memory. This is facilitated by Oracle.I am curious whether someone has experience with this mode of running parts, or total IFS , in memory. Questions like:Will analytic background jobs run faster? Do you notice differences in data-entry? Do you notice differences in your analytic environment? Thanks in advance,Johan

Hi EveryoneOn the Page “AD User Mappings for Financial Models” one can Generate Access for General Ledger Code Combinations. In some Cases not all Combinations get generated namely.GL Authority Combinations (We only use it on Account and Cost Center, all other Elements are %)MAX: Account = %, Cost Center = %Voucher Row:Account = 24790, Cost Center = nullThis Combination is Missing in the [CODESTRING_COMBINATION_RLS_BI_TAB] and therefore RLS is not working properly in GL Analysis Model.The Generate Access Procedure must include null combinations. Currently it only takes combinations into account where the code part exists in code part values, but a combination of account without any other posting element ist very viable. 

I’d love to see Business Reporter be able handle the option to decide whether to include the hold table vouchers or stick with updated vouchers only.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how we can track who and when lobbies are being used in apps 10? Or course we can create an API with a get-function that updates a history table when called, but I wonder if anyone came up with something more elegant or had a discussion with IFS on this? One of the recent updates enables this for quick reports and this is a great tool which can help us identify which reports are important and which could be phased out (we have 2000 reports build over many years). 

Hi, I need to know how to use information sources in power bi, i can’t open examples from doc.ifs. Could any one explain it? I don’t have licences for analasys service I use fact transfer by excel but i don’t know how to use it in power bi.

HelloIn IFS Cloud, there are so many screens that had been defaulted with setting up certain conditions as below snapshot, which may make some confuses for end user when they search some items but not pop-up as expected. Can these be cleared up by users themselves or need to IT help? I have created an Income Statement report package in IFS Business Reporter that contains several sheets. The first sheet is a consolidated statement, then each subsequent sheet is for each division of the company (plus a few other more granular statements). I need to update the sheet for our Admin division so it will display everything except for one of our cost centers (CSG). When I add the filter criteria so Cost Center is not equal to ‘CSG’ like this:...it removes all CSG data, but it also removes data where the Cost Center is null. Cost Center is not a required code part value for us, so we have many transactions where this field is null.I have tried a few different variations in the Advanced filtering pane like this:...but that has not worked either. I get an error that says “Basic Repeater is not allowed as advanced criteria are used in Report Book, Report Sheet or current design row”.I experience the same issue on the GL Balance Analysis page in IFS, but I can resolve the issue

Hi  In-Place-Editor not visible on double clicking on text-oriented controls on Report Studio Report design (rich text, text combo, Label). I am on 25.2.3 with Framework service update 25.2.5 

Is it possible for end users to view a report created in Business Reporter from Order Report without having to install the BR add-on? The users already have the correct permissions, but when they try to export from Order Report, the report appears in blank and does not load any information, even in the PDF document.The report was saved with the “disconnect” option and the “generate PDF” option selected.Thank you!

Has anyone successfully managed to retrieve Business Report data from IFS to an external application - through API/Projection (or using Boomi).Generate a BR report and then use that result as something that need to be transferred to an external application.Our scenario is that we need to create balance sheet/P&L and then transfer the result to a Consolidation system for the parent company. These reports are created in BR.I can find the created BR report in Excel_Report_Archive, as an Excel file but I have not managed to access the data. There doesn’t seem to be any generated API’s for Business reports either, for Quick Reports there are API’s automatically created that can be used to extract the data from IFS. Or maybe this has to be solved in Excel, through the generated Excel Sheet - to manually trigger a transfer with some sort of script?

We’ve had this issue for years now, with no solution. BA Report displays dates in correction Australian format when run via BA Excel Add-In. However, when report is schedule or run from IFS application  any date references on the report revert to US Format. E.g. if there is a header in the report referencing the date the report is run or the date entered in a parameter it will show 9th June 2023 as 6/9/23 instead of Australian format of 9/6/23. Just wondering if anyone has resolved this?

Hi BR experts,I'm preparing a report in Business Reporter, and I've encountered an issue. When the customer orders the report, they receive an empty one, but when I order the same report, I receive a report with data.I tried to recreate this issue, but I couldn't do it until I turned on the debugger.When I turned it on, I received an empty report.Have you ever encountered an issue like this?Do you have any suggestions how to solve it, I mean how to ensure that when the customer orders a report using their credentials, they receive a report with data.I would be grateful for your assistance.Best regards,Adam

Hello,  Does anyone have any insight into what the colours mean on the dimensions within the information sources? I’m building a report with two that have the same dimensions, one is coloured green, the other is grey and I can’t filter on the gray one without showing nothing for that dimension. I’ve compared the config and they look identical Many thanks!Will

Hi there, I am wondering if there is anyway to add data sources to workload jobs in batches rather than one at a time. I have hundreds to add to a workload job and want to avoid having to do this one at a time. Cheers
