I’ve created a Dimension in IFS Apps 10. I’ve then used Custom Dimension Connections to connect the Dimension to the Appropriate Information Source. I can see the Dimension in IFS Business Reporter and add it to my report. When I run the report I get the following error. If I remove the field and re-run the report it runs fine. How do I find that specific item and set the appropriate permissions to it?
Hi, Does anyone know if it is possible to add more parents values in Business reporter to Enter Parameter Values. As you can see in my example now. If I want to choose department value, I need first choose parent value company. Based on choose parent value (Company) I get data for departments, but I would like to add one more parent parameter. But I am not confident how to do it.
Hi,According my understanding, as the IAL views, the Access views are configured (created on demand by an end user) and belong the IFSINFO schema.For the IFS managed-cloud hosted customers, that offer the opportunity to use them via a direct access to the database allowed only to IFSINFO schema. But something remains not clear for me.In the technical documentation for IFS CLOUD (https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/21r2/045_administration_aurena/255_br_and_a/050_integrations/080_external_access/010_access_views/) it is mentioned: "Access Views are used as the source for loading the Tabular Models specific data layer in SQL Server." Hi All, Can anyone please show an example of using NVL2 function parameter in a BR report? I tried to use NVL but could not get what I wanted. And trying to use NVL2 function parameter, but not sure what should I enter for the first argument (ValueIfNull). please see the image.&CodeB is a standard parameter for DIM_CODE_B.CODEThe requirement is to get all CodeB values including NULL when the &CodeB leaves blank and the selected CodeB values when &CodeB has a value.Example:when &CodeB = say '45' , the report will only show the records with code_b = 45when &CodeB leaves blank (NULL) then the report will show the records where the code_b of any value plus the code_b IS NULL Thank you!
How can I add permissions for a user to can connects to see data in views by ‘SQL Developer’ tool (directly from the database Oracle) ?Currently, the user can see tables, but views can't - by SQL Developer. if I add IFSAPP perspective , then he connects but can’t see the data from view.-off course this view have the data : here is an example that user has connect to the table: The issuse related with IFS 10.
Hi , I have a requirement where the lobby must show the count when the reminder is due (from purchase order screen )and filter applied in reminder due as ‘ yes ‘ and on clicking the count it must navigate to purchase order confirmation reminders screen where it must show the data where the reminder due is yes . but for me it is showing the count for all the data in the page without recognizing the filter . if I add filter as reminder due is yes inside the navigation , it is not working properly . Hi All, When I preview a SQL Quick Report in EE, it correctly shows titles in mixed case. However when I preview the same report in Aurena, it only shows first word in mixed case and others in lower case. If you have any prefix like ‘%’ it then even shows first word in lower case.Does anyone know a solution/workaround for this? EE Aurena

Hi there!We are running IFS APPS10 in managed cloud and I want to establish the data pipeline to our data warehouse. I want to use the Information Sources for this purpose. While everything that comes with IFS is fine so far I am missing some information that are standard fields (like “Coordinator” in customer order). I have gotten some information on how to add custom attributes to information sources but not how to add additional standard fields to a pre-build information source. Has anyone encountered the same challenge and overcome it? I am thankful for any advice or explanation on how to achieve this. If you need more information please let me know. Morning,We are trying to create a new lobby, but we it come time to create the datasouce (using datasource designer), we are getting always the error “UNABLE TO FIND xxxxx View” (where xxxxx is the name of the view). I already change the grants in all ways possible, and I don’t thing the problem is it. Did anyone have the same problem and managed to fix? Thanks, Gianni

A customer has custom data warehouse built in MS SQL server that they are using with multiple internal systems for reporting purposes. When using IFS Cloud they want to keep using the same data warehouse solution.What is the best way of loading data to their existing data warehouse from IFS Cloud at the database level?Is it possible to use Access Views for this purpose? if so are there any benefits of using access views for this rather than using Oracle views with direct DB connection?
