Hello all, Wondered how you can group BA reports together in IFS?For example if I had seven or so finance BA reports and wanted to have them all in a Finance folder in IFS how would I do this? The above is probably a really simple answer but interested to learn how.thanks allDarren
Hi All, It should be possible to run IFS “in memory”, this means the data-entry tables will run fully in memory.You will be able to select the tables which run in memory. This is facilitated by Oracle.I am curious whether someone has experience with this mode of running parts, or total IFS , in memory. Questions like:Will analytic background jobs run faster? Do you notice differences in data-entry? Do you notice differences in your analytic environment? Thanks in advance,Johan

Hi,I was working with an IFS employee for over an hour last night and they got stuck trying to add a new item to an information source for me. Specifically, I need to add Receipt Line Status into the Purchase Receipts Information Source. The SQL used is listed below. The item was created and populated in my information source but when I ran the report it was blank. I have a strong feeling it is because of Source Ref 4. We have no data in there and my understanding is this is an optional data source we can assign to anything. I do not believe we ever did. I need to know if the Source Ref 4 Fact ID is the item in green below, if not what is it? RECEIPT_INFO_API.Get_State(RECEIPT_INFO_API.Get_Receipt_Sequence(:source_ref1,:source_ref2,:source_ref3,:source_ref4,'PURCHASE_ORDER',:receipt_no))
Hello,I have a report that returns data results by entering parameters.In other words, the report result is displayed when you enter a parameter.If no value has been entered for the parameter, the report should still be displayed.When the parameter is used as a condition in the query sentence where the report draws data, the rows that do not contain data in the column will not appear in the report.I couldn't find how to display them.How should I write the condition in the query sentence? Can anyone help with this please?Sincerely..
Hi,I am trying to move a field in report designer. I am using the alt key to move it like the documentation says but either it won’t move or i make the cell bigger. Is there any easy way to move a field. We have hidden a few fields to make more room and now would like to move the fields over. This reporting tool is very frustrating. Hi,Requirement: We are printing a report using a RMB. When it gets printed, it must print 2 copies.In general, when we print an order report from any screen using RMB, then the print dialog gives us an option to input the number of copies we need.When I am trying to perform the same from the backend using below code, only one pdf is getting generated. Hi! I am using IFS Cloud and are trying to create a Quick report. After filling in the required information (see picture 1) I press Save and get redirected to the detaild view. But the detailed view is empty (see picture 2). For some reason I can´t see my quick report I just created. From the debuger I can see that a ID is created for the report. My guess is that this is caused by something related to access.

Is it possible to change Unit Of Measure on a Customer Invoice depending on language? Can i change Unit of Measure depending on which language there is default for the company or customer?Ex: Currenct functionality - When a Customer Invoice is printed the Unit of Measure on the Customer Invoice is the same Unit of Measure as “Sales UoM” on Customer Order Line. If value in “Sales UoM” is “stk” (danish) how can i change this to “pcs”?.This can be useful if the customer or company is not speaking same language as the standard for unit of measure.
Hello ,i have a report that is automatically printed by the system. and I want to disable automatic printing but I don't know where I should go in the set up .Report name : inventory order report Report ID : INV_PART_ORDER_PNT_REP_REPI think the report is printed when the Mrp is started by a scheduled task . but im not sure Report archive : Thank you in advance .
Drill-down and a link back to IFS is available as core already for the GL Balance information source. However, we would like to enable the drill-down also to other information sources, including quick information sources. Is this possible? In Aurena, there is a place to set up the Information Source URL but has anyone got experience in setting this up manually for other Information Sources?
Hi, I am trying to add an image to a report layout using Report Designer Tool. The image is saved in the Report Images folder in Aurena client. I have used the option ' Dynamic Image Stored on the database ’ and wrote the sql query below.select image from ifsapp.report_images where image_name =:p1and passed the image_name as the Bind Variable.But the image is not showing in the layout. Can anyone explain me how to add this image (which is saved in the report images folder) to the report layout.
