IFS Apps 10, UPD 14, windows based on local laptopmWO: IFS MWO Service 10, Version 10.15.1365.0 When connecting a document to a assignment in the mWO app I get thestatus: When I check the attachments in the work task with IEE, an attachment for the document is created but cannot be opened. Hello,Is there way to limit the Work Type in various Aurena screens? We are using Apps 10, UD13. There are work types that are no longer used and we want to prevent the user from seeing and selecting the obsolete work types on any pages - work order, work task, etc. We don’t see a way to inactivate them or make the unavailable. Right now they are designated by DNU or Do Not Use at the beginning of the Description, but it would be more user friendly and efficient if they were not in the list at all. We are not using mWO. Has anyone found a good way to do this in Aurena? Thank you,Joann
Hello,Our company rents and sells modular workspaces. When we rent a module and it returns from a costumer, we use the IFS MWO to open a work order on arrival, and we use the e-forms option to answer a quick survey that reports the module situation to other departments. We are constantly having trouble to create work orders on IFS MWO. As work orders are closed throught IFS application, they would not communicate with IEE, and would be lost between platforms. Recently we had a major problem when several objects were reported through the application but only a few of them were transfered to IEE.I’ve checked on background tasks for any information about the transactions, but no error was found.On Failed Transactions I found that it didn’t went throug becaust it was deleted due to initialization.Can someone help me figuring out what went wrong and how to solve it?Thank you!
Hi,We are looking to rollout Aurena Notify Me for PO Authorizations but have noticed that attachments will only appear in the app if they are attached to the header of the PO (Object=PurchaseOrder). But if they are attached to a Part Order Line (object=PurchaseOrderLinePart) or No Part Order Line (object=PurchaseOrderLineNopart) they do not appear in the app.If the user views the PO with Enterprise Explorer or Aurena, they can see attachments connected to all 3 of these objects so it does not appear to be an access issue.Does anyone know if the app is designed to show only the header attachments or is it something within the configuration that I am missing? Within the app, for one of my test PO’s, I am able to view the doc_reference_object table and see that only the attachment document for the PO Header is shown. The part line and no part line documents do not appear.All 3 objects are accessible with the same Document class so if 1 works, I would expect the other 2 to be the same.We a
Hi, All!In IFS applications 10 we have Synchronization Rules with own schedule for each mobile entity.To make the data exchange more frequent we would like to change the schedules minimizing the execution interval.But we are afraid of possible causes for the system.What if we will change the schedules for selected entities (ActiveWorkOrder, JtTask, MobileWorkOrder etc) from once a day to every 30 minutes?Could anyone explain how it can affect the system?What about the system performance? Can it be significantly decreased?What about client/server keys mapping? Can we receive the situation with increased quantity of failed transactions due to not receiving the proper keys in time?We have about 50 active users and about 2000-2500 Tasks per month.Thanks in advance!BR,DANMI
Questions about mobile user installed apps/devices:When is a new one created/added to a user? Our users always use the mobile app on the same device yet there is more than one line on their Installed Apps/Devices tab. How is the device State (active, disabled) determined? Hi ,I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with using IFS Aurena Scan It on android scanning devices in a warehouse? We are really struggling to provide our end users with a stream less experience and they are opting to use the PC rather than the scanning devices. Do you get your users to log on as themselves or provide generic accounts? Is there an easier way to login rather than entering username and password every time? How do you prevent your users from logging onto more than one device? Are you users expected to log out multiple times a day? Do you devices auto log out after 5 minutes of idle time? Hi All, Can someone explain to me how I can have the bar of the Project Allocation in the Resource Monitoring Gantt? Within the legend I can see a Yellow bar which should show the Project Allocation, but I am not able to see this? are there any requirements? Thanks in advance
We have just updated from Apps 10 Update 9 to Update 15, and now get the following error when searching in the Resource Monitoring Gantt.You can search okay the first time, however if you then perform a subsequent search and change the search criteria, this error appears. We are on Apps 10, and just updated from Update 9 to Update 15.Within Enterprise Explorer when right-clicking on a Work Assignment and setting the Status to Work Started, this Clock In popup now appears (and for Work Done). It did not previously.We do not use clockings, in favour of manual Time Reports.How can we turn the Clocking dialog off for Work Assignment status changes within IFS EE?
Trying to get back to a work order from an invoice ? After creating a work order and completing the work in service and maintenance, I have then created a customer order to generate an customer invoice. The invoice is then sent to the customer to check and pay, however if the customer has a query and gets back to the business, at the moment there is nothing on the invoice that references to the work order that was completed. How does the business establish what work order the invoice is for? Thanks
Hi, We are having ongoing issues with our Honeywell android devices running IFS Aurena Scan It 10.We’ve completed a wifi survey and there have been not dropped packets or connection seems good. Error examples areAn error has occurred - initCommand: Failed to read value from SiteVirtualStructVar.ContractOne or more errors occured. (Function<GetDataCollectionProcessOnline>:Failed to assign a value to Result. Value = ‘True’)Action<StartSession>:Failed to assign value to result. Value=’True’ This can be when they have just completed a Move Handling Unit process and then attempt to do it again. It can also occur when they complete a process, put the gun down to perform the manual task and on resuming using the app get a load of errors. Any help or troubleshooting tips would be much appreciated. I’ve attached some screen shots. Our IFS tas server is hosted by IFS. Thanks, Fiona :)
Hello, When I use the Auto-Generate Rota function in PSO- The Status stays at “Generating” and it looks like nothing happen after that under the Rota Provisional. I left this on the entire day and night but nothing happen even though I refreshed the page and everything. Please help me understand if I am missing any steps. Thank you!
In MWO Aurena Native application, the Quantity Issued is not getting synced.We are using IFS V10 UPD 7. As per the process, the Materials are issued against Maintenance Material requisition in IEE Platform. The issued quantity is not getting Pushed / Synced to MWO Aurena Native application. Does anyone have experience creating Order Code 2 Direct Delivery inside a Purchase Requisition in a Work Order? The help shows the Order Code is possible, but it can’t be manually entered this way. How does the system create Order Code 2, Direct Delivery? Order Code: There are six different order codes: Normal (1), Express (5), Direct Delivery (2), Internal Transit (4), Internal Direct Delivery(3) and External Service Order (6). The Normal code is used if the purchased parts are delivered from an external supplier to your company before shipment to your customer. Express orders differ from normal orders in the way that they are handled by the system. When a purchase requisition having the order code Express is authorized, it is automatically converted into a purchase order which, in turn, is automatically released and printed. Apps9: Why cant i see the Notify Me and Incident Reporter Apps in 'Applications' under the touch apps
Am trying to get Incident Reporter into proper use and i would like to add some custom fields. Following instructions, I can see you need to add via the entity details. However, when i look i cant see notify me OR Incident reporter! All i can see is CRM companion When i look at the server config i can see these are enabled. Any ideas?
