IFS MWO Service 10 app working with IFS 10.29We recently upgraded from 10.11 to 10.29.Complete in MWO does not open the assistant, but triggers this error: Input string was not in a correct format. This happens for all users and all Work Tasks.There are no failed transactions and the bug report does not show any errors. Does anyone know what could trigger this?
Hello, Using Apps for Page Designer, I configured a field as Required to ensure users do not overlook it when entering time through the MWO Service App. However, this change does not appear to be reflected in the MWO Service App, as users are still able to save their entries without completing the field.Could you please advise if I am missing any additional configuration or step required for this change to take effect in the MWO Service App?IFS version 25R2Thank you,Wafaa

Hello,I created a pickup task with the supply code on the material line = Purchase order : I followes the “Process Purchase Order” from the document “IFS Cloud - MWO Service Demystified (25R2)” : Released the PR, converted it to a new PO, released and confirmed it : I forced the sync to MWO with the Synchronization rules.I found on MWO the request task and the pickup task :but if I try to click on “Part Pickup” to execute the pick-up, nothing is showing up : So I tried to start and complete the pick-up task. But when I manually synchronize with the backend, the pick task reinitialize and I got an error on Deleted Failed Transaction : I don’t understand which Warehouse does not exist. What am I missing here ?Thanks for your insights.

In the FSM you had the ability to update the Customer Information on a Work Task or Work Order. Does Service Management have the same capability? testing this out it seems if I update the Customer Order Type (SEO) and add a Customer Order No it will still create a new Customer Order from the Invoice Preview.We are on IFS Cloud 25.1.8

The Online Search facility has been added to MWO in 25R2.However, we do not want to allow our engineers to use this and have been trying to remove the option within the page configuration without success. i’ve gone through all items that mention Online and disabled them but the option is still being shown! Please can someone provide guidance how and where I can remove this option.ThanksShaun
Hello,I’m testing MWO app on Windows on 25.2.5 and a transport task was created.A mobile user have to receive the material so the transport task is visible in Move Stock>Incoming Stock – Direct :The user can execute the transport task, it removes the lines from the list.In order to see the transaction on the back offfice, I manually synchronize on the MWO app : When the synchronization is finished, the transport task is again visible and ready to execute and no transaction was created. What seems to be the problem here ?Thanks for your help
Hi, I have a requirement where Work Tasks should be Bundled together for ease of Scheduling but still require the ability to flexibly change the status of the Bundled Work Tasks individually - is this possible using MWO in 25R2? See example below. Bundle Task 1Work Task 1 Work Task 2 Bundle Task 1 is then assigned to a Technician and executed on MWO. Question - can the technician update the status of Work Task 2 to something like Incomplete and marking Work Task 1 and Bundle Task 1 as Work Done? ThanksTom
Hi,What is the best way to keep the Material Line visible in the MWO app while disabling all edit-related actions such as Issue, Un-Issue, Edit, and Delete?I have already tried removing the relevant options from the workflow configuration, but these actions are still visible in the application.Could you advise if there is another configuration, permission set, or projection setting that controls the visibility of these options or can this be a bug? Hi All,We need to use Region attribute in request management to use in several places such as Selection Rules, Task Regions etc.However, it seems that region alone does not work and we need to tie it with a location to make it usable. Since we get requests from different locations almost every time saving locations may not be that useful. Address and Region combination would be ideal for our work. If we use dummy location per region then that will make exception in PSO with invalid location.Can anyone give any input on this?

Hi All,When we have an Incompleted assignment in a request work task, the request work task cannot be transferred to “Work Done” status automatically even after we completed a different assignment with the same resource. We can mannually change the request work task status at from the header.Is this the built functionality? TIA.
Hi all,When we create a Custom Field for the mobile app (MWO - ServiceEngApp), there are following 3 steps included.Creating the custom attribute in Entity Configuration. (Solution Manager> Configuration> Entity Configurations> Entity Configuration) Adding the custom attribute in Mobile App Entity. (Solution Manager> Mobile Apps> Configuration> Entity Details) Adding the custom attribute in the mobile app’s page. (Solution Manager> Mobile Apps> Configuration> Apps for Page Designer)Out of these 3, only #1 can be included in an Application Configuration Package (ACP). Therefore, what is the best way to handle migration/ deployment of the other 2 items across different environments, without manually creating them again? We have come to discover that we have no meaningful way to manage the roll-out of the mobile app IFS MWO Maintenance. Since the iOS version comes from the Apple Store and the Windows version comes from the Microsoft App store, they just appear randomly on devices without any chance to vet the apps and keep all devices on the same version. Nor is there any mechanism in either store or from IFS directly to get any advance notification of upcoming version releases. There also appears to be no way of reviewing version releases with the associated release dates (not as important but still could be helpful if something breaks). I guess the assumption from all parties in this process is that newer is always better, but what if it is not? By the time we discover a bug, many of our devices will have the new release with no way to back-level the version. Does anyone else out there see this a potentially problematic?

I’ve searched this forum and it seems several users have requested/suggested the functionality to allow multiple photos to be added to a single survey response in MWO vs the cumbersome process of introducing looping questions/child surveys. Most threads seem to go cold a while back so would be great if someone could confirm if this has been implemented or if not where this is on the development track. Feels like this is pretty basic/standard expectation of an end user in 2026 (ie select multiple images and hit ‘upload’)
Good Morning, We are in the early stages of our IFS Cloud Upgrade. I am having issues where 2 users can log into IFS Cloud Web Version with their user name and password.When they attempt to log into MWO Service App they get ‘Invalid Username or Password’They have the same permissions sets granted as a user that can log into MWO. What else would prevent a user from logging into MWO Service App? I have managed the details via Resource Structure, they are ticked as MWO User but they do not appear in Mobile App User Details, they cannot log in etc. I am sure it is a setting I have missed but I cannot work it out. No Work Task is generated from the selected template.
