Hi all,We met one issue that every time updating the quantity for a Schedule work item details (one sub item),the cost rate is updated also. But we didn’t get the relationship or calculation rule.Any advice is appreciated.

Hi there Our month end processing is held up by the time it takes to process the Transfer Work Task - Reposting Transactions option each month.The vast majority of these transactions never go to Finally Posted status.Can someone please explain the benefits of running this process and is it mandatory that the process be ran as it seems to be a very time-consuming option.On the other hand, what’s the effect of not running this transfer. Thanks Alan  

Hi All,I have an issue with creating PO when the quantity in the Material MR WO and PR it doesnt match.Is this by default we cannot have different quantity between MMR and PR?Please advise. 

Is there a way to edit-reduce the qty reported from labor/machine transactions from previous-closed month?  I know we can cancel the qty and hours and add to the current month, but not sure if that is the best way (is that messing with financials?)  Thank you for any help you can provide.23R1Joy

Hello Folks,I am using IFS cloud 25R1(Application service update - 25.1.1 and Framework service update 25.1.4) and am testing the copilot functionality. However, i ran in to an issue during my testing. When copilot provides a response to some of my prompts/queries I've noticed that it is referencing to unrelated/irrelevant documents that are in our data lake which has no data on original question being asked. i.e. these documents have no content whatsoever that could support the co-pilot’s answer. Please check the following scenario. Step 1 - I entered a prompt in the Co-Pilot to check the actual purpose of having a ‘Maintenance Team’ defined within the system. It did come up with plausible answer which i though was obtained from IFS documentation. There were 2 reference points listed alongside the response.  Step 2 - I checked the listed ‘References’ out of curiosity and both of them referred to uploaded ‘Machine Specifications’ sitting in our data lake. Upon clicking the reference li

Hello, wne I open entity Shipment through page designer, pop up error window displayes with message: AvailableSourceLinesList. How can I close this error message window? 

We had employees in production and proceeded to monthend processing.  Typically we check Ongoing clockings, but this was missed this time.  We can end the production as soon as possible on the new month Dec 1st 12:00 AM.  But our hours would still be off.    Our finance dept will not allow reopening, etc. of previous month.  What is the best way to handle this?  thank you!

I have been looking into the new Co-product feature in 25R1 and it seems ideal for our needs except for one major flaw.  Parent part must not be multi-level trackedFor this feature to be of any use to us we would require both the parent part and the co-product to be lot tracked. Even in the example given in the release presentation of two castings made in the same mold it makes no sense to only be able to lot track one of the castings. Can anyone explain the logic behind this? Surely if I am making two products that are equally valuable then I should be able to track them equally?  Will tracking of the parent part be available in future releases?   

In IFS Cloud (24R2), we have a Migration Job to load our Fixed assets in. We want a custom PLSQL job to do the equivalent of clicking the “Investment” command button, but we are struggling to get this to work.We have tried running set_investment from finite_state_machine, and also by creating a background job. Hello, We have been having issues with Intrastat. We found that the invoice numbers would not populate due to a time zone problem. We are a global company and we are primarily in the us/eastern time zone. We found that the invoice id would not populate due to mismatch due to time offset and local/UTC interpretation. I was wondering how people may of gotten around with this problem? Thanks.

We are reviewing the current PO Authorization setup to minimize the need for complete re-approval whenever minor changes are made to a Purchase Order. At present, even after a PO has been authorized, any modification—such as changes to delivery dates, payment terms, or other non-financial details—requires full re-approval. This results in delays in the PO release and receipt process. There are certain conditions within the authorization setup that, if adjusted, can help reduce unnecessary re-approvals. Additionally, the addition of “charges” is a common requirement for import shipments and ideally should not trigger full authorization again.Below are a few scenarios where re-approval can potentially be avoided:If, after PO revision, the revised PO amount is lower than the previously approved amount If the changes made do not affect the PO amount If charges are added through the Purchase Order Change Order screen If the change in amount falls within an acceptable tolerance limit Impleme

 Is it possible in Cloud to enter a vendor agreement that you are matchning invoices with until the amount of the agreement is used? For example if you enter a rental agreement of 4 years of lets say 48000 EUR. You are then receiving one vendor invoice per month for 4 years and since the agreement is already signed you dont need any further authorizations on the individual invoices. You would like that the invoices are deducted from the amount of the agreement until the amount is zero. This function is usually included in external applications such as Visma Proceedo. We can of course use purchase orders for this but then we will have to do a PO row per expected invoice and someone needs to do goods receipt each month. Is this possible in IFS10 or in Cloud?

Hello,I added an RDL to the report definitions to generate the standard Purchase Quotation Request report via Excel layout, and I believe I've made the correct adjustments. When I try to preview the report from the relevant screen, I select the newly added design and click Preview, but it downloads the standard PDF design.Do you have any idea? Report Definition SetupPrint Request Page 

Hello.I’ve been investigating the possibility of utilizing an alert type Message Box after a supervisor has authorized a Travel Request to remind them of the need to also Select the travel request so the subordinate can proceed with creating an expense sheet. I’ve tried searching the community as well as asking Copilot for details and I’ve read that it might be possible to apply a Message Box to a Command via the Page Designer? Is this an option in Cloud, or is the only option to utilize these via Workflows as I’ve seen some users in the Community suggest. If this is possible, what options do we have and what would be the best way to go about doing this? Thank you in advance. 

Hi, In IFS Apps 10, we had the ability to create custom menus that could call external URLs. These URLs could receive parameters from the page, and we could also use context substitution variables such as #DB_SID# or #USER#. For example, a URL might look like this:http://<URL>/db_sid=#DB_SID#.In the Cloud version, we can still call external URLs by creating a custom command button using the Page Designer. We can also continue to pass page parameters to the URL. However, as far as I know—and based on the documentation I’ve found—it seems that context substitution variables are no longer supported.Does anyone know if there is a replacement for these context substitution variables in the Cloud version? Specifically, is there a way to pass environment-specific information (like the database SID or user ID) to the URL from the Page Designer? /Michael

Hi all, Users can select the theme of application: Light or Dark. In Appearance Configuration we have defined colours and fonts for both types. The “Light” theme is alwas default (I do not know why...). Those users who want to work in “Dark” theme - they have to select it every time.Is it possible to store the choise for each user in its user profile, so application opens with the theme selected “last time”?Thank you in advance.Br. I have developed a Java transformer that converts JSON data into Excel using Apache POI libraries which generates an Excel file by extracting data from payroll transactions. The transformer returns the Excel output as a Base64-encoded string. Everything works correctly when I test it through IFS Developer Studio, the Excel file is generated without any issues. However, when I upload the same transformer to IFS Cloud and run it there, the process gets stuck in processing status.Has anyone encountered similar behavior when returning Base64-encoded files from a custom transformation in IFS Cloud?Is there any other feasible way to achieve this?Any insights or recommendations would be highly appreciated.
