I’m trying to create persistent reference type custom field in a custom logical unit.I want to create two custom fields for project id and for subproject id.In order to get a LOV, I tried to connect to views which are already exists in  Project Time Registration window, PROJECT_APPROVED_COMPANY_PA and SUB_PROJECT_APPROVED_PA.But I was unable to connect those views.Can you please explain. 

In project deliverable, when an item is connected to a serialized manufacturing invenroty part, we have the possibility to reserve the serial n° that need to be manufactured.So that when the Shop order is created from the deliverable item, the serial n° reservation done on the deliverable item is transferred to the SO.When we cancel the supply request from the deliverable item - i.e. the SO is cancelled -, the serial n° reservation is not available anymore.

the procurement officer created PO and entered no-part order lines and it was delivered to the company.in the manual supplier invoice, system refused to save the invoice because the code part was missed (FA info ).I updated the account properties to avoid this option but system unable to post the invoice.

We have multiple 1p over payments that we would like to write off. Normally we refund overpayments, but the admin is just too much. Would I use the customer offset screen? Also I can write off invoices as a whole, but not part payments. Am using the customer offset screen - any tips?

We have a custom logical unit with a list of tasks that need to be handled. It works well, but we overlooked the need to know who is assigned to each task. We could simply create a freeform text field for the employee’s name that is assigned to handle that task, but that opens up a host of issues and inconsistencies that could create issues down the road. We would prefer to create a custom enumeration so the field becomes a drop down list of specific users. I could do this manually, but we don't want to create something we would have to manually maintain in the future.Ideally, we would like to see the list populated with all users that are assigned to specific roles that have permission to update the form. Can that be done?

We have discovered a problem when updating Purchase Price on a Purchase Part. When we are matching the supplier invoice to a purchase order and want to update the Purchase Price, vendor part no and description clears on the purchase part. In the API-method “Purchase_Part_Supplier_API.Modify_Supplier_Part_Info” we can see that these columns are present but it seems to replace with an empty value.since it seems to get NULL value from procedure “Purchase_Order_API.Modify_Part_Price” that´s calling this method:       Purchase_Part_Supplier_API.Modify_Supplier_Part_Info(contract_,                                                           part_no_,                                                           vendor_no_,                                                           new_price_,                                                           NULL,                                                           discount_,                                                           old_additional_cos

I am trying to create a substitution map to send an email to the owner of a project (PERSON_ID_OWNER).  The Notification however, gets fired from the context of TASK_EVENT.  However, it does not resolve the email address.  I have attached the setup of the subsitution map for reference.  Is this becuase i am not allowed to go from TASK_EVENT to PERSON as TASK_EVENT is not a ‘Tab’ on the Project screen?

We are having an error in a voucher line ‘Wrong requirements for account 3400. Please check code part demands.’ In Account 3400, Region has marked as Mandatory. All the voucher entry lines with account 3400 have region value in their lines.If I need to add the Region for any of those lines using a database script, what are those lines and will that data repair solve the error?Kindly advise me. Thank you.

Hi,Did anyone face such error when performing Zoom In function in a BR report?The Oracle error "-1691" occurred when inserting report data into the report table - " unable to extend lob segment IFSAPP.SYS_LOB0000070775C00005$$ by 1024 in tablespace IFSAPP_LOB" That’s a quite simple report that queries the GL Project Transaction aggregating values by Code C for a specific project and specific period. If i try to zoom in it generally produce this errors, however it actually worked a few times with some lines. It seems that it works if only very few data are within the Zoom In (= only few lines).

When looking at Inventory Part Availability Planning screen for certain part numbers, the Forecast Demand from MS Level 1 is not pulling through. Other demand is, i.e customer and shop orders exist - but no Forecast is shown. Require some guidance on resolving the missing information

we will have refrigentant bottles on stores and that's enforce us to have warehouses per some stores at the system. Because of that, technicians should have feasibility to consume refrigerant from these store warehouses. Could you please check feasibility to consume material in mobile application from different warehouse than default?

I was asked these below questions with regard to the upgrade. Any comments please? Can Apps 10 provide a public facing webserver to be accessible via Azure WAF’s (Web Application Firewall)? Is there an option to load balance across 2 to lose single point of failure? The intention is to use hybrid EE and Aurena, does this affect the ability to use the aforementioned Public facing Webserver Is there support for Windows Server 2022 in the pipeline? If so when? Hello, We are running IFS Application 10 Update 8 and an upcoming change to our manufacturing environment is going to require two shop order operations to be started simultaneously.  For example lets say we have the following operations defined.10 - Charging15 - Pumping20 - Circulation When the operator starts operation 10 we’d like IFS to also start operation 15 as well.   We know we can have the operator manually start operation 10 and 15 manually but we are trying to eliminate a point of failure and automate this functionality. Regards,William Klotz

We recently upgraded from IFS8 to IFS10 and have a report that the Receipt History tab of the Receipt screen did not capture a location change, previously logged as a ‘Moved [qty] [uom] from location [old location] to [new location]’.Can I configure IFS10 to capture Moves?UPDATE: Never mind. I’m finding it does log it and now trying to understand why it didn’t log it in this case.

In IFS Cloud, in Freight Map, I am trying to enter zip codes by Zone ID (see picture here under). The Freight Zone details list does not allow me to enter the “From” or the “To” fields. Any suggestions? Many thanks, Michel.  

How to change the Address Presentation, especially the Zip Code which is required to be Post Code,  we have an Address Template set for the UK, but this still displays ZIP CODE. 

Hi !I understand we can define group of users to more efficiently manage permission sets.However, I searched everywhere, I do not understand how to define permission sets for a user group.  Let say, I have a profile called Project Manager.I want all my project manager to have at least the permission sets:PS_01, PS_05, PS_25 & PS_32I thought i could attach these 4 permission sets to this user group, and when i put a user in this group he will inherit these 4 permission sets.Is it working this way?Thanks.

Hi all,when we navigate to a shop order and search for a certain order >> RMB >> print pick list and pick the relevant print options (include unconnected material, list by shop order, list by location and include part summary and say ok and select the preview option, there is no data retrieved on the report. Only the first information page comes up an inbuilt report.In report designer, I can see that there is a repeat page with data. Could I know why data isn’t retrieved when it comes to printing the pick list in these instances?

We are using the IFS FSM6 Application for our Field Service Operation in different Business Cases such as Telecom, Retail etc..It is almost an year since we Deployed and Go-Live FSM Application in LATAM Region (Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia). Since then we are getting this as continuous feedback from our End-Customer to support Forgot Password option on Web Client Screen.Please suggest When IFS is planning to bring this Option for End-User to reset their Password.

Hi, one of our customers is having the above issue when the following test plan is followed. Is there any rectification from RnD for this?1. Go to Assembly and Disassembly product structure for an existing top position part (GE/00-00-00)2. Now the focus is to create a mismatch in the line item numbers in between Assembly Side and Disassembly side for the same part.3. Add a random inventory part with different line item numbers on each side. (E.g: Part LINEITEM5 with line item 100 in Disassembly side and 200 in Assembly side)4. Now add a new part (LINEITEM4) as a new structure position in serial structure template and enable auto transfer to manufacturing.5.
