Hello Everyone! One of our customers has encountered a scenario where cancellation of vouchers doesn’t follow the Approver Assigning rule though they have set two approvers for approving vouchers through the Approver Assigning rule when cancelling an invoice by an end user. Is there any setting that would enable the approval for cancellation of vouchers to follow the approver assigning rule? BRGaveshi

HiI have made a Profit & Loss report in IFS business reporter, only with actual figures.Now I have created a Budget version with some test budget data, which went OK, but I have problems getting them included in my P&L report. I want to make columns with Actual Data, Budget data, Deviation.But I can’t figure out how to include the budget figures in the P&L report. I can’t find any budget measure, no measure to select budget version etc.Are there no budget figures in Business reporter? ThanksSøren

Hi,Please refer to the consolidation structure below.The Consolidation Structure I           Consolidation Method: Equity Majority & Equity Minority  The Elimination rule was not picked up when we ran the consolidation for a month. As a result, there are unclear balances in the intercompany accounts. However, if the structure has used the consolidation method "Equity Majority” only, the elimination rule will be applied. Please see the screen prints below for more information. The Consolidation Structure II  Could you please explain why the elimination rule wasn't being picked up when the structure has used the Consolidation Method including both Equity Majority and Equity Minority (In the Structure I)? Thanks in advance!Best Regards,Yoshini

Not able to run IPR, I am new to the set up I have run the IPR along with demand planner. However currently there is no demand planner set up. When printing an earnings statement, no leave is printed for employees with the employee group 'marginally employed'. For the employee group 'salaried employees' everything is printed as it should be.Everything is identical in the settings for both employee groups and no employee group is excluded in the source code for the receipt.Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be?

Hi All,  I am doing some configuration with a PSO instance that is Integrated with IFS Apps 10.  I have configured the ARP to broadcast to Apps and that seems to be working.  When I apply changes to a ROTA I see the message posted message to IFS with the changes, but it doesn’t seem that APPS is doing anything with this ARP data.  I have changed locations and start and end locations for a particular shift for a resource in my ROTA, and I see the XML in APPS but I see no changes in APPS or in PSO.  Am I missing anything here? Limitation of the PSO and APPS integration? ***Note, the resources that are in ARP exist both in APPS and manually created in ARP (with matching ID’s).

After upgrading from IFS10 upd7 to upd11 last weekend, we have seen strange things in othe HR module. Have anybody else upgraded successfully without issues in the HR module?We have a rather complex matrix organization structure,, where organization access, position access, and role based access are in use. To mention some of the things that have occurred:Employees that have had a manager position earlier, have been reinstated in that role with end date 31.12.9999 We have trouble setting manager roles when they are not hierarchy structured (worked fine in upd7)  A Persons that never had a manager roles for another person, suddenly became manager . We haven’t found the reasons for this, but suspect that there are challenges in the upgrade scripts.  Other than this upd11 is very nice! Aurena is superfast compared to earlier updates.  

Hi there, Is there a way to re-process a notification which is in waiting state? I have an issue with my notification, it had an error where the recipient had @@ signs. So it gave me Error while sending data... Caused by: javax.mail.internet.AddressException: Domain contains illegal character I have since corrected it. I have suspended a message and resumed it but it went to the same state. Notification is triggered by custom event when project is marked started. Is there a way to re-try message? 

Hello By default anyone who is not “HR Application Manager” loses access to terminated employees. We have a scenarion where employee is already terminated, but we need their supervisor to authorize working hours one or two weeks after. Is there a way to grant supervisor access to this type of employees, the ones that are already terminated but have remaining authorizations. Also if there is such access can we limit its valid to date to last only for a few weeks after the end date to the employment?

Hi, I am using FSM and PSO and would like to show the customer name and contact details in PSO which in FSM are in the request_contact or task_contact either as a additional attribute or in any other manner. Does anyone how I can map the same? In the FSM additional attributes mapping I cannot chose the task_contact or request_contact entities. I can create a BR to copy this information over the a request / task user_def and then sync that to PSO but is that any other way this can be achieved ootb?  Regards,Abrar

Hi,I have an issue where the project -> demand-> misc.parts -> planned cost is calculated based on the company tax even though the project tax is already set to 0. 1. Company tax is set to 5.5% (address tab)2. Project window -> address tab -> the tax is set to 03. Project window -> demand -> misc.parts -> added a new line with a purchase part-> once saved the planned value is calculated with the company tax Tried the same thing in core but I was able to get the planned value without company tax.Any suggestions on windows/fields that I should check to identify possible setup differences ? 

I need to create a smart URL link direct to IFS application (APP9) with filtered data.In my scenario, I created a custom event to send an email, which will monitor Purchase Order Delivery Reminders on regular basis. Email should be sent to buyers who are specified on the Purchase Order Delivery Reminders. Message should contain a link to the list of reminders for given buyer. See belowScreen shots.Email format is like belowAs you can see above example Buyer “FUKMA” get one reminder email. The problem was creating the URL link. I can’t pass the buyer id to URL because it’s an API call not a SQL column.Then 2nd option will be passing the All-purchase order Reminders Order No, Line and Release No to URL.Is it possible to do something like this? If it’s, could you Please tell me how to create the URL passing above mention variables. 

In IFS 7.5 when trying to copy text from some pdf generated, we only get qustionmark or squares insted of the text. Like this: 􀀞􀀅 􀀟􀀠􀀐􀀡􀀐􀀡􀀑When checking the document properties there is embedded fonts Arial and Arial Bold, but with a number before. 1747Ec416Arial and 1748Ec41eArial,Bold.  (Our Suppliers want to copy out order no)Does anybody know it this is possible to fix? BR Stig

IFS 10 - using Avalara tax interface, an error returns with:  The postings balance to the net but not the tax amount.   Anyone have a resolution for clearing this error? Best-Christy

Hi, Scenario:I need to create a lobby data source where 2 views are involved.View1- DOC_ISSUE_REFERENCEView2- PROJECT_BASE from view1 has project title,view 2 has project id and manager name these two view has no relation between them, but I use regexp_substr to sort out view2.project_id from view1.titleand using that project id I fetch the manager. Since lobby data source can only use one view, I have implemented this using IAL.Query:select a.*, b.manager from DOC_ISSUE_REFERENCE a, PROJECT_BASE b where  b.project_id = REGEXP_SUBSTR (a.title,'(\S*)') Problem: I need the result per manager in lobby condition, using lobby datasource. But it is showing an error while clicking lobby element and no data is getting populated, Is there anyway to do this.Or do I have to create a custom column for manager to solve this issue? Please Advise...Thanks in advance Error
