Application Message not created when sending a customer invoice

Environment - IFSAPP10 Regional Test CMB Internal IFS Environment

I have used the below employee with the below message setup.

 


Next, I have selected a customer invoice of this customer and selected Resend Invoice.

 



Media Code selected as ‘Connect’

 


A record is created in Search Connectivity Outbox Messages.

 



However, an Application Message is not created in the OUT Folder.

Is this a bug or the standard behavior? Is there any way we can change the setups to create the application message?

Hi @Thanushi Jayaweera,

This is the standard behavior of the application. An application message will not be generated when using Media Code “CONNECT”. If an application message needs to be generated after you ‘Send’ or ‘Resend’ the invoice, a message code like ‘INET_TRANS’ should be used.

 

 

When the Application message is generated after resending the Invoice, you could notice that ‘Application Message’ RMB is enabled in the menu as shown below.
