Hello,I am creating Custom Layout Definitions using Crystal Report.I am currently having issues with the Service Quotation and the Service Order Acknowledgement. Since these two Operational Reports use the same Report Definition, and the same View, I cannot tell which report the user wants to print. I would like to have 2 buttons like IFS has, where one prints the Service Quotation and the other Prints the Service Order Acknowledgement, but from what I can tell, there is no way to do that.There is nothing in the table/view you can base your operation on as they use the same table/view, and 99% of the data is the exact same. The only thing different is the title of the report, and the fact that the Service Order Acknowledgement has a acknowledgement statement added to the page. Do I really have to have the user manually determine which one they want in the popup print window when they are already hitting the print button?Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

Scenario: We do invoicing from Project Invoice and print reports PROJECT_INVOICE_REP and INVOICE_SPEC_REP - i.e. 2 seperate doc layouts. Question: Is there a way to - within IFS Apps 8/9/10 to merge these 2 outputs into 1 doc and - ideally - then email it using the PDF_REPORT event ?

HiFor one of our customer in V15.4SU4 when he create a batch and indicates it should run at 22:00 French Time, the batch is always executed one hour later.We have this issue with batch upgraded from v 14 to 15.4SU4 but even if we create a new batch in V15.4SU4 we have this issue. Do you have an idea?THanks for your feedbackRGdsChristophe 

Hello,I noticed that my shipment pro forma invoice was not populating with price/value data, and I noticed that there was another IFS Community question that asked about CustomsValue. Someone mentioned that the CustomsValue will be inherited from the Customer Order page, and go to the Shipment page. Even when I populate the CustomsValue field for Customer Order, it never changes the Shipment CustomsValue field. How can I tweak the transfer of data so that what I want occurs?Thanks,Bryan

Would like the ability to align the data in a column field.  Message Line" is very distracting on our screen because its alignment is to the right and everything else is aligned to the left. I'm not sure if there is a reason and if this is something I can edit under my "Properties" options, but I don't see anything.

We have a user who is very sensitive to the purple colour, specifically the “Show” button and the tab hover colour, etc which dont change when the UI theme colour is changed. Is there anything that can be done to change all the colours on the forms? A screen filter has been supplied and monitor settings have all been changed for the user and still the specific purple is causing some extreme distress. Any help with this would be a great help, thank you.

Hi All, What is the difference between Group ID and Object Type on the Serial Object? Group ID allows us to group Serial Objects for classification - but Object Type seems to be doing the same thing and has additional technical advantages.So what is the added value of the Group ID? Additional question: can these filled be auto-completed on creation of the Serial Object based on their part? It seems foolish having to manually define these every time we create a Serial Object. Is there any standard IFs functionality or are we directly looking at a CRIM? Best RegardsRoel

I am trying to do some material requisitions for fuel usage that was used in March.  However, they got missed last week.  It does not allow me to back date the material requisition.I can back date the due date on the line, but is still comes over in the voucher as Period 4 (April).Is there a way to get this backdated to March or change which voucher period it applies to? 

We have a situation where an item is billed in partial units, and credited back on another line. The value displayed on the request screen (for example) is $92.63 however the DB value is $93.635A bit of an odd question: Why is the value displayed to users not rounded up? Is there a way to alter the number of decimal places displayed on the request screen? Modify the DB value to match? Modifying the DB   

Hi IFS community, We have supplier invoices and intercompany ones. When registering a standard supplier invoice in manual supplier invoice tab we select BBS_AP. We register intercompany invocies under the CORP_IC user group. However we got an error when we tried to register an invoice for one of the suppliers. (the invoice number was a dummy one so I could explain the error message.)  We also noticed that other intercompany supplier have different stat groups each, for the supplier above we created a new supplier group in supplier group tab, we succeeded, and we changed it to thenew one and saved it.  After that we tried to register the intercompany invoice under the new supplier group in manual supplier invoice tab using CORP_IC user group, we received another type of error message.Please could you help us out on this issue? Thank you in advance.

May I know is there a way I can see all permissions that has access to Print Manager Window?Since this is a feature form I am unable to see grantees.If there is a query or a window i can see these it will be much appreciated. 

We have a user trying to generate a Work Order from a PM Action Maintenance Plan but the RMB → Generate Work Order option is not appearing. He is able to generate all others apart from 2. What would prevent a user from being able to generate the Work Order? Thanks, 

Hello,Is there a way to display the Map Position added to an Assignment in My Work and Work Details screen in mWO Service which the technician can utilize to navigate?I’ve tried adding the Entity ‘TaskMapPosition’ to the Work Details screen with baseline attributes Latitude and Longitude. But the fields are displayed as normal text fields and not Address Fields which can be used for navigation.I do not want the Latitude and Longitude to be linked to an Address or Location. Kind RegardsPriyanka Cecilia

Hi,we came across no part cost for a component which is manufactured but has a purchased cost template.  So we tried to figure out how this constellation has happend:If you create a new manuf part cost template in cost set 1 is set automatically to M-110correctif you change the part type to purchased, the the cost template in cost set 1 is set automatcally to P-110correctBut we have 2 jobs running at night: Calculate cost set 3 for all parts and copy cost set 3 to cost set 1 Unfortunately the part type change does not change the cost template of cost set 3.This means we have the wrong cost teplates in all the parts where part type has been changed. Any idea how to solve this dilemma? Do I need to create an event at part type change or at cost template change in cost tab 1 in order to have the same cost template in 3 or are there any settings or easier work arounds?

My company has Annual stock count on 01st April 2023. but I need to reverse this transactions to previous financial year. is it possible or not? if possible please let me know the steps. Thank You

Is it possible to change the default parameters in eg. the Contract Billing Batch. We use Ongoing 99% of the time, but the batch is always set to Interim
