We are using planning method A for the majority of our parts and have so far been updating the safety stock manually.I see in the help that the automatic update of safety stock is possible with planning methods B and C. Why is that? And is there any way we can use it for planning method A?Regards,Basil

We have a part that is machined on any 1 of 8 different machines. Each machine is its own work center. Each work center is setup as a different alternate routing for the part. When CRP is calculated, load from shop order requisitions will only appear on the work center that’s on the primary routing. This machine/work center always appears overloaded, while the alternates appear to have plenty of capacity, even though the load will be spread across all machines. Is it possible to generate load from shop order requisitions to alternate routings?   Thanks,Eric

We have a need to create separate page configurations for mWO Maintenance 10 and have done the following:Created a user group named “HelpDesk”, added my user account to this groupUsing Apps for Page Designer with Page Designer to:Created a context named “HelpDesk”under this context, added text to a single label on the “New Work” assistant under Maintenance EngineerSaved and Published this configuration, verified that it exist in “Page Configurations”Created a Configuration Context Mapping such as Context = “HelpDesk”, Condition USER = usernameInitialized the mobile device, yet the modification does not appear in mWO. As validation of this process, I made a similar change to the same page (with different text) against the “Global” context and this change shows up immediately in mWO. Also, I am able to make this change to the Aurena page equivalent and it shows up correctly. mWO 10.20.1405.0Apps 10 (tested in both UPD16 and 18, both fail) Just wondering if this could be a weird permissio

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me or point me towards documentation that explains how mirrored service offerings are setup in assyst? By mirrored, I am referring to different individual service offerings that are an exact copy of each other. For instance, changing one copy will automatically update the second copy accordingly. We have some old service offerings setup like this at my organization, but I cannot find any documentation on the subject. We are using assyst 11.2.3. Thanks!

Hi.  I’m having trouble adding my user defined password function to oracle profiles.  I have the function compiled under SYS with no errors, but when I try to add this function to my oracle profile, I get an error indicating that the function cannot be found. Are there any specific grants that have to be done to get these functions seen by IFSAPP?

We’ve just deployed our first IFS Cloud environment and we’re struggling with some features… One of them is regarding Data Migration Jobs. Do you guys know which exact permission (projection) a user must have in order to be able to create new Data Migration Jobs? He’s already been granted Update Allowed permission in Authorized Users screen, but I believe that will work just for the existing jobs already granted for his account, right?Hope you can help me with this.

Current behavior: For the moment the MC screen BaseAttachmentList is used to display all necessary attachment information in a list. In this screen, the "Delete" option for attachments is not available. The editing of the screen is limited, no button can be added and only the script triggers "Populate" and "Refresh" can be used.

I’m trying to configure an Excel Migration Job to act on an API that accepts a single attribute, which is a string of keys. I wondered if anyone has had any experience in doing this or something similar. This is the string I get from debug (without the carriage returns) that uses the POSITION_UTIL_API.Modify_Pos method…              p0_ VARCHAR2(32000) :=              'STRUCT_ID'||chr(31)||'16'||chr(30)||              'POS_CODE'||chr(31)||'500042162'||chr(30)||              'VALID_FROM'||chr(31)||'2023-05-22-00.00.00'||chr(30)||              'VALID_TO'||chr(31)||'9999-12-31-00.00.00'||chr(30)||              'OLD_POS_CODE'||chr(31)||'500042318'||chr(30)||              'SUP_POS_CODE'||chr(31)||'500042319'||chr(30);I’ve tried many variations in Excel like replacing the || with & and double-quoting like “’STRUCT_ID’”.

I got all signed up and figured out which courses I wanted to go through, but when viewing them, they will play about 70% complete, then fail to finish.  I thought maybe it was a Chrome issue, so I logged into IFS Academy in Microsoft Edge and still behaved the same way.Has anyone had this experience?   Thanks, Michael

With the type 'Check In To Document Management' in the report rules it is possible to create a document revision with the report when printing a report. If I configure the Document No in the property list as follows 'DocumentNo=[@CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP/INVOICE_NO];' the revision is not created. If I omit the DocumentNo property, a new Document No is created each time the report is printed. How can I implement in the report rules that a document revision is created which is revised when the report is printed again?

Hopefully an easy question to save me (and others) having to test this: Does CreateAndImportDocument.svc work with FTP repository or only database?
