Hi All,I have enabled posting control for mandatory pre-posting in PR line which is M100 connected with ProjectThen I observed that I’m able to release the PRs without a mandatory pop-up when I’m using Part Requisition lines ( This works for No part Requisition lines ). 1. Why mandatory pre-posting is not working at Part Requestion lines? 2. Is this because M1 always takes values from posting control rather than pre-posting?  Thank you,Vindya.

Hi - We would like to keep using MXI v 8.1 sp3 until the end of 2027.  The plan is to request new license keys yearly in Jan 2024, Jan 2025 and Jan 2026.  Is there any issue with continuing to use version 8.1 sp3 until then?  Would there be any additional fees that we would be charged to keep using this version and get yearly license keys?

Community, we had a external supplier invoice error - The tax code HSTON does not exist in company 21 or has invalid time interval.i think system is looking for supplier tax code at company level. but our company does not set supplier tax code at company level but at supplier level. so question is, can we work around? if we cannot work around, how to fix this issue? shall we have to set the tax code at company level?  where the exact place to set this supplier tax code at company level?Thank you.

How to limit one user’s login from multiple devices?In previous versions of IFS, it was not possible to log in under one user simultaneously from different devices. In IFS Cloud, it is possible.This worries our clients.

I hope someone has come across this scenario before.I have a product structure that has some components connected to a later OP in the routing. This is because I don’t need the parts until, say, OP 30 or 40.However, MRP plans ALL the components as due on the start date of the shop order, completely disregarding the fact that I don’t need some components until the third or fourth OP, which may be weeks after the start of the shop order.Does anyone know how to get MRP to schedule these supplies as due after the start of the shop order and actually due when that OP they are connected to is scheduled to start?Be grateful for any views. Dear community,I need some help for RMA flow within 2 sites.In Cloud version, our scenario is : Company A - Site A - internal customer of site B Company B - Site B (manufacturing site) - internal supplier of site ACustomer orders are released on site A generating automatically a PO for site B and so, a CO + SO on site B for site A. The site B can deliver the parts to site A (Int. Pur. Transit) or directly to the final customer (Int. Purc. Direct)In case of parts to be returned (RMA) by the final customer, I would like to know how to handle this flow with end-to-end traceability ?With the IFS previous version, we created a RMA on site A for the customer, then created an other RMA on site B for the customer Site A and the goods movement between companies was out of IFS (no shipment, no transaction). I know that, on Cloud version, RMA on a site can generate a RMA on the other site but the 2 sites must be linked to the same company so, not possible in our scenario. Hi IFS community, I´m going to give a short overview about the issue which we´re dealing with. Regularly we receive paper pallets, they have inventory numbers within IFS. We create purchase orders for materials which have part numbers, we add lines in ´Part order lines´. When the goods are physically received and counted ,  it is registered in ´Register Purchase Order arrivals´ tab. We write in the total qty received and the number of the delivery note when we are doing it. We do it this way, because it is essential to other departments so that they could download the total ammounts of materials in stock from ´Inventory Part In Stock´, after that they compare it to the actual stock level. Our problem starts here, when we receive the material from the supplier we get an invoice shortly afterwards. We register the invoice in ´Manual supplier Invoice´ tab, we write the number of the PO into ´PO Ref:´ field. This way almost every field gets filled out as it is paired with the PO. We contin

Hello, We are planning to use Aurena (technician/ maintenance portal). Yesterday I received feedback of our technicians that the interface is not that intuitive. I am hoping you can assist me in improving the application for our technicians.What we would like is to view the Task Steps underneath the Work Order. This would enable the users to instantly know what work the task contains. I already know the “Definition” of a Work Task Template pulls through to the Work Task. But is it possible to add a view of task steps? Or possibly the Job Description?  If not, would it be possible to edit the view of Work Details to include Task Steps? (And to exclude irrelevant information such as components from the Task Information?)

We are trying to install the Bi solution. Hi Everyone, When trying to undo a customer order delivery, we are receiving an error saying that ‘Location type Shipment is not valid for part’This is confusing as the part was shipped out of the Shipment location in the first place. Does anyone have any experience with this error?  

Hi,Since App10 upd13, is there a way to add notes on a read only screen ?ex: staged billing lines. Custom Field remains read only although it is set as updatable.If still not possible, do you know if that is solved on Cloud version ?  

Our current process of doing production database refreshes is to turn off the appropriate business rules that involve sending out emails or texts to users in the field. Then, set the phone number and email address fields to NULL via a SQL update.We want to keep all business rules active and contact information intact, but would like to have something that does not send out communications when testing the business rules in our pre-production environments if we need to fix or change them.Does anyone have any ideas on to make this process easier and reduce the time to refresh production data into pre-production environments?

V15.4.2.0For a Customer Contract, we can see the Revenue Recognition in the Revenue Recognition tab and by default it is dividing the revenue up from start to end, month by month.When a contract starts mid-month, Alliance will allocate just a part of the revenue to that month (i.e. starting half way through the month will give an allocation of half a month revenue) but that does not match with our finance system (IFS - there are several choices in IFS as to how revenue deferral is handled), so I wondered if there is any way to change this behaviour so that it is always allocated evenly (i.e. whatever the date of the contract start, a full month of revenue is allocated in that first month and the same for the remaining months)?ThanksChris

We need to update a Time Report that has been transferred with the incorrect Hours. How can we correct? we cannot remove from Work Task as we get an error How can we reverse the transfer and correct the Task Transaction?

Here’s the scenario: a contact is renewed for 12 months (from 01.04.2023 to 30.04.2024) and invoiced for the period of 01.04.2023 to 30.09.2023. But then we need to cancel the contract from 12.02.2023 (prior to renewal). We are not allowed to cancel a contract outside of the current active period. And we can not cancel the renewal as it has been invoices in the current period.I have tried to create a credit note towards the invoice for period 01.04.2023 - 30.09.2023. But this does not “roll back” the invoice on the contract.Any advice about this? Or do we just have to cancel from the earliest possible time (01.04.2023)? UPDATE: in 15.2 we were asked if we wanted to cancel EVEN if it was invoiced in active period

I am trying to add raw with SUM for few columns on customer offset screen using Search in context (only for Not approved). The line adds to the bottom of my Transactions table, however all fields are blank and not calculated. I have two columns as custom field and one Write Off Amount is standard. Did anyone tried similar thing?  Thank you Kate
