We have a contract import (Customer Contracts) that works well in 15.2. We have now upgraded our UAT to 15.4, and have an issue with this import. No matgter what we do, we get the error that “PM Rule is mandatory”. We have a PM Rule PRSTD that we almost always use, but there seems to be a bit of change in the logic regarding PM Rules - the import should automatically create a price rule based on PRSTD on import.Here is the log:But the error-message on server is a bit weird (maybe?):Any advice would be greatly appreciated. 

Hi,scenario:Sites: “ELDIS” and “RETIA”Supplier: 21273Supplier Purchase Parts:390040336199 (Purchase Part for supplier “21273” and Site “ELDIS”)100015100500 (Purchase Part for supplier “21273” and Site “RETIA”) I make Purchase Order on Site “ELDIS” (header) for Supplier “21273” and check Centralized. There are two lines. First line is for 390040336199 automaticaly with Site “ELDIS”. Then I add second line, change Site from “ELDIS” to “RETIA”, insert part “100015100500”. In this moment system show a info message “This part does not exist for the purchase site”.Question is, why is necessary to have Supplier Purchase Part (100015100500)  for Site “ELDIS” too? Or I need some another settings…?  Thank you

Hello We have a big issue after IFS 10 version updates 14/15/16. When employee work less then scheduled hours and tries to clock out they get following error: “absence generated from balances can not be changed”.What happens is: we have fleksible working hours, in case of employee staying longer we have a code which is used as “Extra Time” and adds to a Balance Code. When employee work less hours we have a “Absence” wage code which then should deduct the hours from Balance Code. Problem is that system allows us to work extra and that way have positive balance in the results, but when working less then scheduled it does not allow to have a line with balance which is negative. Have anyone encountered anything similar?  Error message 

Hi Team, I am doing a IFS BR using structures, How can i configure values to structure id and description.When i select the cells and add the Structure repeater it populates for Company in the below case after selecting the company it doesnt show up any values, how do i check the data in this case? Please do let me know if i am missing any settings or configurations. Hi Community, Well… I have done the setup for trip Tracker 10 App, but when I try to connect receive the follows error message:"Company Setup Error: No companies available."  It's importan to mention that Travel Expenses in Enterprise Explorer works well and Notify me Application works well too. This error message only comes when I'm trying to connect to Trip Tracker Application.I have been trying to find some explanation to this issue but nothing is helping me.Did anyone have this issue before? Can help me to understand why this error message is coming from?Thanks in advance.Have a great day! 😉

We have a requirement where technician from one country should not be able to cross boundary and move to another country to work on a task near the border area of another country. We are not using Division or teams/ skills. Can we use Barrier functionality in PSO to achieve this? If yes how should we configure the barrier points? Any idea/ suggestion?

Hi!When using the “Additional Attributes” in FSM6, there is currently a limitation in regards to the data-type being sent to PSO.As of now it is possible to send columns from the tables which has a datatype of DateTime, but this is not sent to PSO (which does not “understand” the datatype DateTime) and datatype field is omitted when the xml towards PSO is created.Is there a way to override this, other than changing it in metadata (which also would make this an issue when viewing the field on a screen/changing it/performing logic(BR/Scripts etc))?Baseline datetime field request_dttm is sent as marked up in the image, baseline : Since there are datatypes selectable on fields in FSM, would it not be beneficial to also be able to choose the datatype to be sent to PSO when creating an Additional Attribute?At least have it default to “STRING” when parsing the xml…

Hi, I have been asked to change a wrong valid from date in the Position Structure screen, but can find no way to edit the existing row or add a new row in it. The screen in question is the one below. So if this a read only screen, which screen is the one to use to edit such information? Please let me know the navigation to the screen I need to go to.I have already checked the Positions screen, and the dates are correct there.  This is the screen showing the wrong Valid From date, which is different from the screen above. Apps 10A user has reported that when he tries to print a highlighted tool request in the Tools Request screen, it fails with this msg: But the report is OK, because if I try to run it, it works correctly and produces the report on the screen.I am assuming it is a permissions issue, but I have hunted around various permission sets, and cannot see what controls the access to run this or any other quick report. I have tried using the debug console, but nothing at all is written there when this user tries to run it. Where does the access for users to run any quick report and then a specific report get set in Apps 10 please? This is not being scheduled as a background job, it should appear in the screen directly after choosing the Print Highlighted… option with the right mouse button. Thanks

I found a thread about the same questions, but it is not clear to me.Obsolete revisions on PM Actions | IFS CommunityCurrently the only effective method known to me is as follows.Create Work Task Template Revision Create revision on relevant PM Programs Replace Work Task Template in PM Programs Apply new revision on relevant objects Correct Start Value (effective change date)This seems to be a lot of work, so I found the function: Replace Obsolete Work Task Templates On PM Actions. But this does not update existing active PM Actions. So I found the thread and was hopeful to try to change the Work Task Template via RMB on the header. Unfortunately, I am unable to try this due to the fact it keeps being grayed out. Several tests later, trying out new revisions, status changes. I remain unable to select these options. Can someone help me?

Is there some sort of log that can be enabled in the IFS App 10 MWS that we can look for any calls made to Biz API services ? Not for errors, just to check if a call was made to one of the services directly. The calls are made to the service and we do not use any of the readers.The problem is the customer says they see duplicate connectivity in box messages randomly for some of the calls (the Biz APIs create a connectivity in messages). We are unable to replicate the issue in our environment and these Biz APIs have been running for a  long time in App 8 and has been upgraded to 10 now. The calls to the services are made from an external application the customer has developed. We tried replicating using Soap UI.

Hello,The app is getting an error every hour(08:00-09:00-10:00… etc.). And it loses connection with the database.I checked the server logs(log file is attached). At the same time, I can see the error details. But I don't understand what caused the error.Any ideas?I can share what's curious. RegardsBarış

Hello,We need to separate the absences from the other wage types during the transfer. While searching for a solution, we came across the transfer group.Where is this stored? Can this be stored in the wage codes? If so, this would help us a lot.Any other ideas are more then welcome

Hi!Relatively new on IFS…  In our business there is sometimes the need to ship different items to suppliers. For example, if one of our production tools is broken, we need to ship it a company in a different EU country for repairs and then they will send it back to us….what I feel is strange is that we then create a sales order of 0 EUR, Ship the part, Print a 0 EUR invoice and put that to the bin. This feels counter intuitive and perhaps a “ this is how we did it in the old system” case.What is the best way to do this? Is it possible to create a purchase order for the repair and us that to send the part? and how is that done in the system?We are in Apps10

Hi All.Could someone explane me why the system is not recalculation the due date after a new revision of a pm action? Even the PM info is set to performed date based “Yes”. But in new revision, the user set the start value to a future date and the Due date is still considering the last completion work task date. Souldn’t the system consider the next due date on Feb 2023 (Start Value) and not 11/2022? The correct way in the case bellow is the next due date should be 02/2023 and not 11/2022, because a new revision has been created.Thank for attention.Br. Lopes  

Hi,I can login to the application as IFSAPP and work without issue, but I can't use the same credentials to login to the DB.IFSAPP is not in the dba_users table either. How can we resolve the issue?I need to run SQL queries against the database that the application is using.I logged in as Sys and tried as ifsapp.XXXXX, but it also wasn't working.
