We recently had an issue when uploading the xml file to our bank that is generated through the BACS run, where some one had accidentally added too many numbers to the account number.Looking at the payment address on the supplier record I can see the creditor account and clearing system member id field is not limited to 8 & 6 characters, is there a way of doing this or will it be a matter of creating an custom event to stop the user inputting more than 8 & 6 characters for these fields? 

any work around or way to connect MS Project with IFS Cloud 21R1 ?

Hi everyone, I have 2 major issues concerning the Intrastat Report for France. When collecting the Intrastat, no “Opponent Tax ID” gets retrieved even though the “Opponent Name” and “Opponent Number” do. I obviously checked and the TAX ID has been inserted in the Customers’ and Suppliers’ “Document Tax Information” Window. When exporting the Intrastat to a file (whatever the format), the Opponent Tax ID (inserted manually in the Intrastat window) gets retrieved on the document for the Export Intrastat, but not for the Import Intrastat whereas it is required from the French authorities to be present on both. Could any of you help me solve this issue ? Thank you very much in advance, Thibaut.

Hello all, We currently have several Routings with Outside Supplier operations. At certain times, the Supplier with create scrap while processing our parts. On the PO, I see a column that appears to reference Supplier generated scrap, however, I am not sure where in IFS this should be reported at. I cannot key it in on the PO and can find nothing in the help. Any guidance would be appreciated! 

Hi, I am trying to delete items from the Onboarding Tasks Definitions page in a customer environment but I am not able to delete them all. The error that pops up says this: “The Onboard Checklist Item ‘21’ is used by 1 rows in another object (Onboard Emp Checklist)”. I have changed the tasks on the employee checklist to ensure none of the tasks I want to delete are being used but they must still be in use somewhere else.  As I am not very familiar with the Onboarding section of IFS’ HCM solution, how can I find out where they are being used?  Many thanks in advance!

Hello to all,Some time ago we encountered a problem.Indeed, the tablespace "IFSAPP_DATA" was full.So we decided to recover the name of the heaviest table.It was the table "TRANSACTION_SYS_LOCAL_TAB" (table which contains all the background tasks).Indeed, the number of tasks in this table was high.So we changed some system parameters to reduce the number of tasks.Today, checking the size of the "IFSAPP_DATA" tablespace, it still has the same size.When I run this query : SELECT NUM_ROWS FROM user_tables where TABLESPACE_NAME = 'IFSAPP_DATA' and TABLE_NAME = 'TRANSACTION_SYS_LOCAL_TAB'I see that there are still +800,000 rows in this table.While in IFS, there are only 50 000 rows.My question is: Is there a scheduled task in IFS to clean the tablespaces?Thanks in advance. 

Hi, When creating a task using the API already provided by FSM and POSTMAN to invoke it, using the following URL “/MetrixIntegrationService/M5WebService.asmx/ProcessXML” to make the request, we send a tag with the authentication, with the credentials of a valid user like the following example: Our question is whether it is possible to send the xml without this authentication tag that has the password visible, we tried to use "Authorization" as the following example: but it returns the following error "XML authentication failed." Does anyone know if this is possible? Best regards

Hi all,We’re in the process of an IFS Cloud implementation and I’m setting up some Data Migration jobs to perform data loads for testing and later on in Production.When setting up the CREATE_TABLE_FROM_FILE job, there are some preset rules loaded but I always need to manually add SKIPLINES rule = 1, because I really want to keep the headers in my upload .csv template file.Any idea where I can add the skiplines rules in the default? 

Hi,We are not using single sign on.When a specific user is trying to open IFS EE to login , he is not able to enter his credential .He hold shift until below screen appears, untick Use single sign on but IFS is still not giving him the option to enter his credential and is automatically trying to log him which prompt an error. Any suggestion please ? we are on update 15  

Hi, we have PO change orders (POCOs) set as optional on our sites.  However, when one is created, all changes must be done through a change order, including dates.  They occasionally need to edit the planned delivery date on the POCO screen but it does not appear there.  Have any additional dates been added to the POCO screen in IFS cloud or are there plans to add it?Thanks.

In Aurena - when I set up a lobby as a homepage, the navigation tree is automatically set up to go to the Lobby Overview link. I have two questions in reference to this:Is there a way to set up the homepage as a lobby AND have the navigation tree to show 3 specific SUB-links (i.e Customer, Business Opportunity, Business Activity ) rather than the Lobby Overview link?Also, is there a way to default a group of users homepage to a lobby rather than having them individually set it up themselves?

We have a situation in our IFS Apps 10 Update 8 IEE environment where our credit department has a debit invoice in a customer account that originally had a payment applied to it, but they rolled back that payment. They then created a credit invoice for the same amount of the invoice and they wanted to do a customer offset to apply the balances. However, the debit invoice is now not showing in the list of invoices that shows as your trying to add it into the transactions tab of the offset. I’ve looked at the following in an attempt to troubleshoot: The invoice is not already pulled into any other NotApproved offsets  The offset had the appropriate Series ID on the line that I was trying to pull the invoice into. I even tried with no Series ID.  The rollbacks appear to have been fully completed, and the invoice is showing an open balance again. Any ideas of what else could be causing this invoice to not be pulled into a customer offset?Thank You!

HiI was trying to configure the cost categories inside the work task. I defined many but they don’t show up when I enter any expense. 

I am working in 21.2.0.  I completed automatic transaction matching for the bank reconciliation but I am unable to see the transactions that were matched.  There is no placed to rollback these matchings either.  All of the documentation in the Community look like it’s from IEE and there is a RMB that allows unmatching but I cannot find this in the Cloud version we are on.Thanks for any assistance.

Hi all, I am currently in the middle of creating a simple migration job to update a Price List. I have created a .csv file that contains the 5 columns of data required for the import. This currently works fine.   The second migration job takes care of the copy from the custom table containing the data from the 5 columns and imports into the sales_price_list_part table. It is here that I am having trouble. 1 of the 5 columns is data destined for a custom field within the sales_price_list_part table. Because of this I have selected the custom field view in my method list. By default it selects the standard (non custom) version of the API. In this instance I only want to import new rows.   When I navigate to Source Mapping it has now auto-populated the available fields from the CFV.   As you can see I have all the relevant defaults added etc as well as the source columns linked. Importantly please note that Pos 260 contains the CF$_CUST_LEAD_TIME field which I have linked to LEAD_TIME.

Hi Experts This is raised regarding our customer concern Customer wants to Limit certain users from adding/decreasing labor lines (NPU) in FSM.I thought of achieving that by adding access groups for roles , Is that possible to do like that ? if that be done can you provide some guidance to achieve this please Else please suggest any other ways how to Limit certain users from adding/decreasing labor lines (NPU) in FSM. Thanks and Regards Shobana 

We are using V14.5 but same situation is also in V15.4We use Expenses to cover the costs for ad-hoc expenses and on the Field Quotation we set them to Fixed Price, so we can add the price to be whatever is needs to be.However, we are finding that when these expenses are fulfilled on Mobile Edge (15.3.2.01 and also in 15.4.5.01), the Billing Type changes from Fixed Price, back to Policy and therefore the quoted price is also removed.If fulfilled in Back Office, the billing type does not change, only if done via Mobile.Is there a setting somewhere to control this or is this a problem perhaps?ThanksChris
