Is there documentation regarding (data) security for FSM (client, web-client and mobile). Need to know how encryption, data storage etc, is managed.

Regards,

Hi David,

you can find a “Security” section in the FSM Reference Guide, which you can pull from the documentation available within the Web Client. This section includes general patterns such as authorization and authentication available within the application.

If you keen to know what kind of security mechanisms are implemented for your Cloud soltuion, you should take a look at the contract documents.

General information can also be found here: https://www.ifs.com/about/trust-center - check the Cloud section.

Further, you can expect that for the IFS Managed Cloud instances following security features are enabled by default:

  • Encryption in Transit (Data is encrypted in transit between the client and the cloud servers using TLS over HTTPS)
  • Encryption at Rest for Azure Database and Storage
  • Distributed denial of service (DDoS)
  • Virus and Malware Protection

I hope this helps.

Best regards
Roman
