This might be a simple question, but it is something I have never done.Is there an easy way to sum a column on a quick report? Basically, I created a view and based the quick report off of view, but now need a sum to appear at the bottom of a column.like this: 

The last week or so I’ve not been able to get the search to work properly in the community.   Anything I enter in the search field does not return any result.   Is anyone else having an issue searching the community forum?

I’m trying to query for permission set names and descriptions but I cannot find where the descriptions are stored.  Can anyone point me to it? Debug isn’t any use.  I have the names and what is granted to users but I cannot find where the descriptions are stored to output those…Thanks!Nick

Using IFS Cloud/Aurena 22.1.5.2022...I have a client that has a customized ERP where one inventory part number connects to many supplier part numbers. This allows for multiple size containers (truckload tankers, totes, cylinders, drums, etc.) from the supplier to be connected to one inventory part number for the client. It reduces the product structure overhead and reporting time on inventory part usage.They can choose the internal inventory part number for the PO and then select the suppliers part number based on container/pack size.Has anyone worked on a customization/modification to allow this in IFS?

Hi,Has anybody looked into IFS Sales Campaigns and a way to configure the following scenario:A Sales Campaign to buy 3 products from an assortment and get the cheapest free.IFS does not seem to handle this out of the box. I am sure this could be done with a customization however I am keen to find out if IFS plan to enhance the current Sales Campaigns functionality in future releases.RegardsKelvin

Hi,  When we searching Orders in the Audit queue where total price is not 0,  we get a lot of lines with a Total price. If we then check the total price in the Order it selft, by clicking Display Prices Button, the total Price is 0 or has a different total price then in Audit Queue. Has anybody else this issue?So it's pure data and the data must come from some where?Version 15.3.0.5 Thanks Robin.

Hi,we like to create an new product status in FSM 6. In the FSM Codes → PRODUCT_STATUS are two entries. Installed (Code Value 1) and Uninstalled (Code Value 2).We´ve created a global code for the PRODUCT_STATUS and changed the lookup in the product screen in the UI Designer. The new code was displayed as expected.BUT: If we try to save the new product-status we get the following error-message.“Column(s) Status To in table Product Tranlog have invalid values.”So i think there is a validation to the FSM Codes for PRODUCT_STATUS. Does anybody know were this validation is located?If i user one of the already existing codes, erverthing works fine.Maybe somebody can tell us where to find the validation or tell us how to set up an new product-status.Thanks

Community,Does anyone could tell me which window in IFS can maintain file TAX_LIABILITY_COUNTRIES? I am trying to remove the stale data in this file, but I cannot find where to remove it except SQL, but I don’t have SQL update function with me.The file can be seen in window Company/Tax Control/Invoice. I can see company 80 is in this file, but I cannot see anything in Company/Tax Control/Invoice window, hence I cannot remove it at all.

Hello,I’m running into an error trying to use an API method from the equipment object structure costs, and I’m wondering if this is a bug or if it’s intended functionality. If it’s intended functionality, would someone be able to explain why? Below is an example of the issue. For reference, we are running Apps 10 update 13. On equipment objects, there is a tab called cost/year. This shows summed costs that have been transacted against this object. On object V13201 below, the display shows a total cost for 2022 at $300.45. This is actually the sum of 4 different transactions so far, all with the cost type of Expenses. However when I run the API method EQUIPMENT_STRUCTURE_COST_API.Get_Total_Cost_Year('V13201', '104', '2022'), I get a null result returned.To confirm this API method works, I tested it on another object that has multiple cost types associated with it. The screenshot below shows V00042 has a total cost of $743.98 with $449.22 being cost type Expenses and $294.76 being cost t

where is data being stored for Customer invoices for historical dates

Hi All -- hoping for some help with a migration job issue I’ve been struggling with. I need another pair of eyes to see what I’m overlooking.I’ve got a job containing two separate views, plus the custom field view for one. Validating my job results in “Validate OK”, however upon execution I receive “The Sales Part Base Price already exists.”  I’m trying to update the custom field (CF$_ACCEPTABLE_USE_CODE_DB) or any field in the line, and not create a new one. Attaching screenshots of everything I can think of… I’m also a rookie when it comes to data migration.  

Hi, I’m working with a customer on NCR’s and they want to prevent NCR’s from moving into Released status unless the NCR is connected to an object. I can up with this event action:And it works when an NCR isn’t connected to a Project. For example, the test NCR 120822-3 throws the error that I'm looking for when I try to release it: However, after connecting the NCR to a project:I get this error message: And I’m not really sure why. Does anyone know if it’s possible to have multiple project activities that have the same activity short name (they have different activity sequences). I’m currently getting the validation error ‘The Activity already exists’ and wondering if there is a way around this.

I’m completely new to IFS. Thanks for any help :) I’d like to use the OpenAPI code generator to generate a PHP client — and see what the outcome is. The code generator relies on access to a `.yml` or `.yaml` file as this very short blog post shows. Apologies for my cluelessness. I’m wondering how I find the routes to these `.yml` files.

Can anyone explain how Apps9 calculates the next count date? I’ve an example below that I can not fathom out how it has calculated it. Receipt Date is 27/10/2021, Last Activity Date is 11/01/2022 and Next Count Date is 31/03/2023 - the cycle interval is set at 360 (our aim is counted once a year).  

In 22R1 it is not possible to do Edit All in all columns in the Accounts window, e.g. Keep Reported Currency as Currency Balance and Keep Balances Separated by Reporting Entity. Will this be changed in a new release or is this the way it shall work? It is very time consuming to enable it manually.
