Hello,What is the best way to link two entities together in IFS Cloud?More specifically, I can pull any field from another entity by creating a read only custom field for the main entity that references that field and links on some key, but there isn’t an option to reference the entire entity.I can go through and make custom fields for every single field the other entity has, but that seems a bit tedious. I’m sure there is a way to do it, but whenever I set a custom field to persistent, and select the data type as reference, it does not seem to pull information, or give me an option to define the link between the two entities. The only thing I can do is define which columns in the entity view to pull in a list of values, which again, isn’t what I want.

Hello,I am currently trying to run a quick report that has a custom field in the report. I have a simple select statement (select * from ifsapp.business_lead_cfv) but this does not show the custom field listed. The entity BusinessLead has a custom field that is enabled to show on reports, and it’s value is a reference to the CustomerInfo entity, that has a custom field which is also enabled to show on reports.I can pull the referenced custom field by doing (select cf$_sic_code from ifsapp.business_lead_cfv) but I’m wondering why it wont automatically list the custom field when doing the same prompt but for customer_info_cfv actually pulls the custom field column...

Hello, Does the user have to identify every time they go out and come back to use the Shop Floor Workbench ? Customer is transitioning from Apps09 to Cloud and do not wish to do so. Currently, the identify pop-up window shows up every time they switch from SFWB to Shop Order to do some changes.  I see there is a Site wide setting to report anonymously.  But, is there another way to keep the identification to a minimum ?

Has anyone successfully gotten IFS Cloud 21 up and running with AAD as an IAM Identity Provider? I currently have one of my migration instances up and running, and setup to the best of my knowledge correctly, to reach out to AAD to perform user authentication. As I’ve had many situations in the past where screenshots where integral to my figuring things out, here is the setup I have for my IAM Identity Provider.  The Enterprise Application side of things in my Azure tenant are configured as follows; When I go to Test SSO for my application from AAD, It appears happy about life; However, the new tab that is opened that was attempting to log me in simply states “Error, Internal Server Error.”  If I go to my main Aurena landing page, I do have it set to allow me to attempt to login with AAD. When I press this, I am taken to the generic “Authorize this application” screen we’re all friendly with in IT. I hit allow, but then land on a generic “Oops something went wrong. Unexpected error whe

Hello,On IFS Cloud, I am currently attempting to take a custom field I created on the CustomerInfo entity, and have that appear on the Lead - CRM page. I have attempted to create custom attributes for the BusinessLead entity that references the custom field I created for CustomerInfo, which, using page designer, appears on the page, but sadly it does not populate with any data. I have also created a projection that takes the CustomerInfo/BusinessLead entities and maps them together by the CustomerID, but doing so does not help as this new Projection is not tied into the BusinessLead page. In the Configure standard projection page, I cannot search for the CustomerInfo entity, to tie it to the BusinessLead entity, as it does not appear. How exactly can you pull a custom field into a page that has a different entity?

Hi all,For a customer in IFS9 we are looking for a solution for sales representatives.Currently there are not user in IFS, but they need some information while on the road to customers. They can find this information from Sharepoint, where a lot of documents are stored. This customer want to store these documents in IFS (not in Sharepoint anymore), so they are looking for a solution for them to find these documents. My first idea was to install CRM Companion, but I am not sure if they can manage from there. The solution is still under design, so not sure where we are going to connect the document to (sales Quotation, Customer Order, Work Order, Customer, etc.). They are not using CRM as a solution in IFS, they only want to find these documents in an easy way.So, any documentation of this app will help (in IFS9)Thanks I advance,Robert

I have a Migration Job that uses the Excel Add-In and some of the custom fields are linked to views/tables, so I understand that the “_DB” value will be that of the OBJKEY/ROWKEY.  What I don’t understand is why I am receiving an integrity constraint error for NULL entries of the “_DB” columns.  one of my errors: “integrity constraint (IFSAPP.BUSINESS_OPPORTUNITY5_CRK) violated - parent key not found”how can one prevent this for NULL values for non-mandatory custom fields? Sincerely,Vince K.
