Anytime our inventory numbers are off or sales support consumes something they shouldn’t have, we have to jump through hoops to invoice block the lines, or invoice the inventory and do a credit, then fake ship inventory to repopulate consignment stock.Is there a way to “un-consume” consignment stock or another way to handle consignment stock/transactions?Thank you in advance. 

Trying to find if there is a class for IFS message objects in the Java server framework so that I could send in a message string to a PLSQL method. If not will have to use FndAttribute and change the PLSQL method to use a attribute string, which is not very neat. The C# framework has the cMessage, so would expect something similar in Java, 

Hi,We have some old historical cost sets,  saved by copy cost set,  that we like to remove.I do not find any way to schedule this process, currently when we remove cost sets  it runs in the client and while running system removes  all indexes on the costing table and this slow up our system so we cannot do this during business hours. Can this job be run in the background so we can schedule it?We are on IFS apps 10 upd 14

Hello,In older IFS Application 10 version, there used to be a BR system parameter like - “Enable ALL….” to select all values when user doesn’t enter any value in the parameter while executing a BR.In IFS cloud, I don’t see this parameter. Seems like it is removed. How can we still achieve this functionality in cloud BR?I tried applying filter criteria - “QFACT_C_MY_BR.SITE LIKE &SITE”, but it doesn’t work when the record has empty Site value. The records with empty Site doesn’t show after execution. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have a user that is unable to see the list of Purchase Order Authorizations pending in Aurena. User is unable to view in My Purchase Authorizations, Purchase Order Authorizations, Or on the Authorization tab on the PO.  User is an active authorizer and part of an authorization group. I am using the same settings for other Authorizers who are able to view the list. And ideas?

Community, wondering whether IFS has report Component Where used? I need a report show the parent part not only the current level, but also the multiple levels of the parent parts that contains the current component part.does IFS has this report? Thank you.

We have situations where reported faults may need quite some investigations before the origin of the error is identified. In such cases we wish to be able to enter an intermediate pre-posting against the work tasks which will be updated once the true cause is identified.In the normal case this is not an issue, but at year end we will want these intermediate work task cost postings to be posted to the balance sheet. Is there any way we can do that to just selected work tasks or is there a clever way to do it? We do not want all our work task postings registered as WIP.@Thommy : Would you have any input on this?

However, if anyone happens to have any insight or approaches on trying to tackle these 3 that would be greatly appreciated:Requirements:Ability for user to enter window start (and/or window end) before initial screen (*Achieved by using task’s earliest_start_dttm and latest_start_dttm) Ability to display first available if no slots are available within selected window start + window end (opposed to having to click next button each time) Collect first available date as data point (on apt booking response from IFS PSO)

There was a similar topic about a year ago, but my error is slightly different. We’re moving our IFS VM into Azure, and unauthenticated SMTP email doesn’t work in Azure. So I’ve create a new mailbox in O365 and I’m using that to send authenticated email. I’ve got this working with other Apps. When I make the changes to IFS CONNNECT below and then try and email a PO, I get the error below. Any ideas anyone.? TIA Chris.   

OK. So I’m trying to migrate my IFS Apps 9 servers into Azure. The main issue I’ve found during testing is that Azure requires Authenticated SMTP email. I’ve configured IFS Connect as I believe it should be configured, but I get an error saying TLS1.0 and TLS1.1 are not allowed and that TLS1.2 needs to be set as default.I think this might be because the Java Mail applet on the IFS MW Server is version 1.4, and version 1.4 doesn’t support TLS1.2So my question is, having downloaded javax.mail.jar version 1.6 (which supports TLS 1.2) does anyone know how I install it?TIA. I have a need to create IFS user with Read-Only to everything. Is it as simple as creating a new permission set? How can I give access and make sure the user can’t make any transactions? What about FND_ENDUSER permission set which every user is assigned?Thank you,

Community, Wondering you have experience using “Build Structure for all Parts” this RMB function in Receive Shop Order window. see the screenshot attached. I have a parent part, and its components are all serial controlled. if the shop order lot size is more than 1, wondering how system control the parent - child relationship, how the as-build structure is built.for example, if lot size is 2, I reserved the parent part serial no S1, S2, meantime, I reserve the kids C1 and C2(assume we have only one kid and assembly qty is 1 also) serial no to the material line and issue to the material line.when doing shop order receipt, can I adjust the parent - kids relationship? for example, I can adjust S1 - C2, S2-C1 or S1-C1, S2-C2.Thank you.

Hello all, I am trying to set up a purchase order authorization rule and/or ewith 2 steps : First step has an authorization type based on an authorization group Second step has an authorization type based on a role projectHowever, when I set it up, it does not work if there are 2 steps with a different authorization type. Please find my tests below for better understanding :TEST 1 : my authorization rule has only one step based on an authorization group --> it works as it generates one authorization line for the people belonging to the authorization group TEST 2 : my authorization rule has only one step based on a project role--> it works as it generates one authorization line for the user with this project role TEST 3 : my authorization rule has two steps, one based on an authorization rule and one based on a project role--> it does not work, it only generates the step with the authorization group but does not generate the second authorization line based on the project roleWh

I have implemented the IFS 8 Print agent on as windows server. The print agent starts and the log shows no errors. It successfully connects to the application but does not see the print jobs in the queue. The queue shows all jobs in  “remote waiting” status.When I turn on debug in the print agent it shows it is “getting remote job” followed by “no jobs found” even though there are jobs in the queue.
