Customer invoice posting error (Update not allowed when status is closed)

Hi,

I am getting the following error when trying to post a credit invoice.

ORA-20105: Invoice.ACCERROR1: Error (Update not allowed when status is closed) occurred while booking Invoice CR XXXX.

Any idea how to fix this ?

Hello, 
This error appears usually when system is traying to modify closed object. Is your credit note related to customer service contract or customer agreement? This might be the case...

    Customer Agreement connected to the order was in Closed status. Activating the agreement and processing the invoice solved the issue.
