I was set up with my IFS customer account and logged into the Customer Portal (https://portal.ifsworld.com/portal/) the next day.  Initially, the IFS Support link was completely broken, opening to void(0);.  Sometime later it began working with a direct click opening the Support Portal (https://support.ifs.com/csm ).  I suspect there may have been a delayed permissions issue.  However, trying to right-click to “Open link in a new tab” fails.  I’m using latest Chrome.  Is this intentional behavior?

We are currently using FSM 6 update 17 and have the IOS app version 6.10.7795. I am wondering if this is the latest version of the mobile app and if not, how do i get the latest version? I understand that you need to create a custom app and upload it to ABM, but where do I get the latest version of he IOS app from?

Is it possible to remove enteries from the Mobile Log? Our Log Table is growing and sits around 800 logs. We have resolved / accepted / fixed the errors but there doesn’t appear to be a way to remove them? It makes it difficult to see what are new errors and what hasn’t been resolved/investigated by the Team? Thanks, 

Hi, In Prompts (Service) module you can enable Insert Session Time and Insert Session Activity for Service Order, the same you can do for Customer Support Order. The behavior is the same as Customer Support, phone_session is added with the session time, but only without any comments. In Customer Support Order there is a field cc_descr_text in de Details tab, when you fill this with text, the text will added to the phone session.This field (cc_descr_text) is not present in Service Order details.The question is how can we use “Insert Session Activity” with adding comments, same as in Customer Support, is this possible? version 15.3.0.5 Thanks,Robin.

Hi IFS community, The goods were delivered to our facility, they were registered via register purchase order arrivals.  We created the invoice, we typed in the number of the PO in ´Manual Supplier Invoice´. We went to posting proposal tab and we accidentally deleted the line , which was pulled in automatically when the goods were registered via register purchase order arrival tab from my understanding. Is there a way to bring it back or to reverse it?

I am sorry if I am posting on the wrong forum.We have some supplier invoices which are stuck in posted status in supplier invoices analyis. We paid the supplier the invoices.The next day after the transaction has been completed, we download the bank statement from our bank account (it is not connected to IFS Application), from there we write all necessary informations into mixed payments but it doesn´t allow us to pair it with the invoice which has been paid, they have Posted status in supplier invoice analysis. This way it won´t change its status to PaidPosted and it will show up as unpaid supplier invoice.Interestingly enough other invoices have PrelPosted which is great, that way we can pair them in mixed payment analysis and their status will turn to PaidPosted. Thank you in advance.

Hello, Is it possible to have different planning methods in a multilevel product structure. For example we have a 6 layer product structure with different disciplines. I want to be able to make the lower levels for sheetmetal parts planning method D (fixed lot sizes), but the other levels have to be Planning method A so if the customer orders 4 we need to make 4 end assembly's but the sheetmetal parts for example 12 pcs. Can anyone help me with this topic? Thank you in advance

Hi IFS community, I´m going to give a short overview about the issue which we´re dealing with. Regularly we receive paper pallets, they have inventory numbers within IFS. We create purchase orders for materials which have part numbers, we add lines in ´Part order lines´. When the goods are physically received and counted ,  it is registered in ´Register Purchase Order arrivals´ tab. We write in the total qty received and the number of the delivery note when we are doing it. We do it this way, because it is essential to other departments so that they could download the total ammounts of materials in stock from ´Inventory Part In Stock´, after that they compare it to the actual stock level. Our problem starts here, when we receive the material from the supplier we get an invoice shortly afterwards. Hi, Our customer need to have multiple problem codes on a service order, and needs to see that on the service order transaction list view.But in the list, column shows only one.Any way to get all selected problem codes in the field, separated for instance by ; ? Further more, customer  is used to export the Service Order list in Excel, and complains only one problem code appears.Can you propose a solution ? Thank you ALLIANCE v15.1

Hi,With mobile edge,is it possible to add a new button and for this button to set a deeplink to a tier customer application ?Today, we could only have an URL in an attachment that open a new application, but for this requirement, we need to have the ID of the current SV to the link in order to open the same SV in the tier customer application.It looks like a XOI or HL integration, but with a “hand made” link to an external customer applications (our customer is a service provider for many clients) .  For this Requirement, we should have the capability in the back end to set the URL link.I know that today it’s impossible, but did we ever made a customization like that for a project ?Thanks and RegardsAnthony

Hi all,I searched through the tech docs and these forums, but I am having a problem figuring out if I can create some conditional formatting based on what approval step a Change Order is at. I see there are available columns such as Approved By, etc, but I’m referring to the Attachments pane → Approval Process. Is there some sort of SQL magic I can insert?  For Example:I’d like the Sales Price Group field (on a CO Line under the Actions tab) to be mandatory IF the Change Order is at the Approval Step where Group ID = ‘PRICE_APPROVERS’.  Conditional formatting dialog on overall Change OrderConditional formatting dialog when clicked into CO Line sectionApproval Step requiring approval from PRICE_APPROVERS group ID Hopefully this is enough context.TIA!Jenna

Hi, We are creating some custom views within the IFS Oracle database so that we can pull the data from the views into the IFS BI Module using SSIS packages. Most of the time when I am running the SQL scripts to test the views everything works fine but occasionally we run into errors like the following: ORA-04068: existing state of packages has been discardedORA-04061: existing state of package "IFSAPP.SHIPMENT_CFP" has been invalidatedORA-04065: not executed, altered or dropped package "IFSAPP.SHIPMENT_CFP"04068. 00000 - "existing state of packages%s%s%s has been discarded"*Cause: One of errors 4060 - 4067 when attempt to execute a storedprocedure.*Action: Try again after proper re-initialization of any application'sstate. If I run the script again right after everything works. I’m a bit confused with the functional differences between 2 fields in the different Engineering Part Revision Forms. One is “Eng Rev” (or Eng Revision) and the other one is just “Rev No” (or Revision No) In IFS Explorer the first field is described as “The engineering part revision for the selected part. This field cannot be modified. This field is for information only and affects nothing else in the system. “The second one (Rev No) is described as “The internal counter used to keep track of all revisions for a part. For each new revision, the counter is incremented by one. This is used to correctly order part revisions in forms and reports. This field cannot be updated manually.” … yet conceptually I can’t wrap my head around of the difference or how are they supposed to be used in different ways. Anybody can explain this for me? Thanks!
