Hi Team,I want to split the revenue evenly across future accounting periods for a Service Contract.For ex: Annual Maintenance Contract is sold for period Apr1 2021 to March31 2022. Customer pays the entire amount in advance . Now the amount needs to be distributed equally across each future accounting periods.Request you to please tell what basic configuration set up needs to be done for this.How revenue will be distributed evenly and what voucher type will be created for it.Screenshots of the setup will be really helpful.Thanks,Rakesh 

We need some help with the consolidation process in IFS 10. We have succeeded with some of the steps but there are some issues left, e.g. currency translation and elimination of inter-company transactions. Below I list the steps that we have done.   Map subsidiary accounts (Accounting rules -> Code string -> Accounts field Account group) Specify which months to consolidate in the parent company (Financials - Consolidation -> Group Consolidation -> Balance Transfer and adjustment -> Reporting status) Give permission to employees to perform the consolidation. Hello,I´m having some issues with “min amount of days” in the reminder template and reminder level. In level 1 its stated 7days and that works out fine, but in level 2 the amunt of days is stated to 10 days,The reminder proposal does not take that in consideration and calculate 7 days as well for that reminder level.Anyone who knows if this is a bug or if I´m doing something wrong? Thanks in advance. 

Hi @majose and others!We have been trying to figure out a way to "freeze" a std cost for sub-assembly when calculating a new parent part, but haven’t been successful. I have also searched the community for similar questions without result.It would be very valuable for us to find out if there is a way to achieve this, or if not, if it is in the IFS future roadmap to look into the possibility. Since IFS Idea Wall vanished I haven’t seen a new place to register ideas for future enhancements, but perhaps one exists?Scenario is as follows:Part A: Sub-Assembly with material & operation cost, Std cost is calculated and defined for the period (year) 31 Dec. In February, the routing is changed but std cost is not updated as that shall be valid for the whole year.In Mars, a new Part B is released and contains part APart B has material & operation cost.Part B shall be calculated and a std cost shall be set for Part B BUT the std cost for Part A shall not be changed when the calculation is

When creating a Customer Support Order, the problem description is also copied to comment field of the Primary Assign activity. When we change the Customer Support Order to Service order and dispatch to Mobile, the text is double visible on the overview on Mobile. And if it contains a lot of text, user has to scroll alot because of the double text. (problem descr. and activity comment)Is there a way without Mobile customization to not show the primary assign activity in Overview.Or is there a configuration that when you creating a Customer support order the problem descr. is not copied to the comment field in the primary assign activityVersion: v15.3.0.5Regards,Robin.

Hi,I would like to have the address of reception and expedition in mobileedge.It’s required in the customer process because, a Technician doesn’t always have a fixed PUDO. So, when the PUDO change, we change the shipping address in the shipping list screen on the backend.. There is no integration with a carrier IT systems. I didn’t find a way to display address (for receiving or shipping) in mobiledge.Could you tell me a way with the customizer (or other way) to do that ?I tried to add a customized field with the customizer, but it’s not avaiable in mobileedge. No address available in receiving card, No customized field added in ARN screen available on mobile edge. Thanks and regardsanthony

Is it possible, in Aurena, to use your phone’s native camera function to attach pictures as either documents or media attachments? That would be a great way to capture pictures of serial objects, defects found in NCRs, receipts for expenses, etc. I am using UPD6 and when I go to media or attachments my only option is to browse for an existing file.  I’d rather open the camera, snap a picture, and then have that image attach all in one process.

Hi,For a customer process, I have to declare serialized parts consumed by the technician.These parts are not managed in inventory.The goal is only to manage parts (serialized and not serialized product) and declare a part used during a service order. In the Backend, we can use Consumable Product and Fullfilled a material demand on this part.   But, with​ mobile edge I can’t display and select a consumable serialized product.Do you know a way (settings)  to do that with mobile edge ?Thanks and Regardsanthony

We often have the situation that an engineer on-site discovers an item which is not in the Site Items on mobile, so he is not able to return that item.Then he calls his dispatcher: Or the dispatcher creates a new installed item for the site in backoffice. But this new item is not synchronised on mobile and the engineer cannot refresh the Site Items when he is working in a service order. Or the dispatcher sees that the required item exists in installed items for the site in backoffice, so probably the site items were not completley synchronised on mobile. Here also, the engineer cannot synchronise the Site Items while working in the order.Is there a possibility to push the update of Site Items to mobile from backoffice ?

Good day, Is it possible to do an Item Search on a custom field in assyst, using the Item Monitor, to find Items that do not have a date specified? When using query builder, I get multiple records when I use Join.   In The example below, I get 3x the records I expected, each record being duplicated 3 times.  I am assuming I am getting this due to the Join, my records from View A, the same records from View B, and the same records from the Join.  What can I do to only get 1 set of records and avoid duplicates?

Unlike this issue reported here ...We are looking to switch off the “Same No Prelim and Final Supplier” setting.  We run Apps9 and are using Supplier Invoice Workflow.  One of the companies in the group are challenged each Year End by having to remove any Prelim Invoices before moving over to a new Accounting Year because they have an I voucher allocated already.  This has been heightened this year by them starting to use Document Management to attach copy invoices to the Prelim on IFS. Like many other companies, I’m sure, we have ‘year specific’ voucher series set up for I and J vouchers.  Prelim Supplier invoices posted in current year have current year prefix so error when trying to finally post in New Year.   When we tried to test processing invoices having unticked the “Same No Prelim and Final Supplier” box we encountered the following error Our I voucher type is set to Automatic Allotment  of voucher J voucher type is not When trying to change J to Automatic Allotment I encounte

Hi Community,This is related to findings in an internal audit.As per an internal audit observation within our company, the system lacks controls related to 3 Way Matching of Supplier Invoices.We need to understand the standard functionality offered by IFS related to 3 Way Matching of Supplier Invoices-Do we have the option to define tolerance in terms of price and qty while matching supplier invoices?-Does the system put any holds on invoices entry if the matching is outside the defined tolerances?-If any holds are put how to authorize entry of invoice outside tolerance limits?So, is there any possibility for above?
