23.1.4Post-migration of documents and document files from Apps9.I have a document revision where the Responsible Person = BSCOTT (connected to User BSCOTT). The History tab shows that an access line for BSCOTT was inserted at migration for Administrator: 1, Edit Access: 1, View Access: 1 and there is no record in the history tab that this line was ever removed. There are no records in the Access tab of the document revision page. The View Document command is not available to BSCOTT at the document revision page. Run the Generate Results in the Access tab and the only result is User IFSAPP has Admin Access as a DocMan Administrator. Connect the document revision to a Sales Part. Sales Part is not used to control access to documents. At the Sales Part, user BSCOTT can View the document file per the screenshot below.Anybody ever encounter this discrepancy in access?Any idea what could have been missed in the migration?

Can we use Conversion Factor for a Non-Inventory Purchase Part? We have a contract supplier for which we create a shop order for the finished good inventory Part and create a purchase requisition/purchase order (non-inventory part for labor to pay the supplier) against it. When receiving the PO, we will receive the labor first and then receive the shop order for the finished good. Our non-inventory part is set to ‘kgs’ and finished good inventory part is set to ‘eaches’. IFS does not allow us to set the conversion factor on the non-inventory purchase part. When we receive the shop order for 10, it is received into the inventory as 10, but we’d like it to be converted according to the conversion factor How can we handle the situation to receive the PO/shop order with a conversion factor?

Does anyone know what causes the “Total Cost” value on the CRO cost lines to be a negative value?We’ve seen this happen with CROs where the repair shop order is processed, material and labor are applied and when the cost lines are generated the LABOR cost category is a negative value even though the shop order cost is positive.Thank you

Hello community,In Power BI in the cube IFS_Sales I cannot see the fields Coordinator and Parallel Currency, those fields are in the dimensions Campaign and Company of FACT_CUSTOMER_ORDER_LINES and FACT_CUSTOMER_ORDER_CHARGE (Information sources)So why can not see them in Power BI? but  for e.g in Business reporter I can. I am attempting to update all part usage lines on a Task when task.user_def4 is set to a particular value.I have setup a Custom Process XML business rule with TASK as the Primary Table and this is firing when task.user4 is set. The Custom Process is shown below.I want to update part_usage.part_line_code on all part usage lines on the task. The Business Rule is shown below.The error I get when my BR fires is  “Attempt to update a record without providing all Primary Key information”.My XML is as follows. <update_part_usage><part_usage><part_usage>@task_id</part_usage><part_line_code>MIS</part_line_code><update/></part_usage></update_part_usage> Any guidance on where i have gone wrong would be appreciated.Thanks,Barry

It looks like it is not allowed to only scrap the parent object without scrapping each of the child first. Getting this Error Message when trying to scrap ….”All child objects in the structure must be scrapped before scrapping the parent”.  We are using SM objects and also upgraded to IFS 10.  It was possible to scrap this kind of parts in IFS9.  Is there any settings we have missed or has this function been changed in IFS10?

Hi,I created the following custom menu in TECH CMB environment, but I was unable to do the proper transfer and destination window ended up with empty results.  Even though the ‘Work Task Window’ shows the ‘test menu’ when RMB, the proper transfer is not happening. Task SEQ - 162663MCH_CODE = 6600-1In database Jt_Task_Utility_API.Get_Actual_Object_Id(task_seq) returns 6600-1 correctly. My question is, Have I done something wrong when creating the ‘Source Key Name’?Even the method ‘Jt_Task_Utility_API.Get_Actual_Object_Id’ is not getting called here

Hi, We have an extract rule on a custom table for mobile that doesn’t appear to be triggering any data out to mobile.A record is getting created. The extract rule for the table looks the same as other tables that are working just fine (e.g PART_NEED).The sync rule looks fine, again as above no different to what we have for PART_NEED.However when a record is created nothing is happening in terms data created to MM_MESSAGE_OUT for mobile to pick up. What can I use to be able to root cause why? i.e. server logging.Or is there a generic have you remembered to do ‘x’? Any directions would be greatly appreciated. RegardsyAdt

Hello, I’m trying to use the  ‘Copy Forecast’ functionality to additively combine two MS Set forecasts together and effectively make one bigger one. The ‘Add’ in the wizard title makes it seem like it’s possible, but it appears to just wipe the ‘to’ set completely and replace with the ‘from’ set’s forecast values, not combine/add together. Is this possible today? @majose perhaps?   

In IFS Cloud, we are missing Configuration Structure Graphic screen.  Does anybody know if this has been renamed or was not brought over from APPS9? Thanks!

Hi Everybody, I have the need to setup a couple of payment terms that have the Payment Term Base Date = End of Month, so it always start counting the days at the end of month, then after counting the days make is end of month again and then add a fixed number of days. I managed to do it but only if I set manually on the invoice, the Paym Term Base Date as end of month. Is there a way to have this setup automatically? In my example, an invoice issued on 02-April will have the first installment due on 05-Aug and the second due still on 05-Aug as is starts counting the days on 02-Apr and 90 days are on 1st of July, and 120 days are on 31st of July which lead to the same end of month. Thank you! 

We are currently on IFS cloud 23.1.  I would like to upgrade to Cloud 24.1.  When I go to release update studio it will only give me the impact assessment for 23.2. I was under the impression we could “skip” upgrades and simply get the latest.  Do we need to take them in order or is there a way to just get the latest?

Unfortunately, the information I can find is very limited so I have no idea about the benefits of these Classification organizations/Classification Codes.  Could someboy gives some additional background on this functionality?How do you use it? Hello, I am new to IFS and would like to ask the following questions: Is IFS able to record a notice period for an employee and then do calculations against that date? Ie, if a notice period is 3 months, can this field be calculated to show 3 months from when they started?

Hello. I am hoping someone can advise or give some direction on how to handle this situation in IFS. Parent company received an order. Billing for the order will be done by parent and depends on milestones achieved. Parent sets up the customer order. Most of the work will be done by subsidiary. Part of the revenue will be earned by parent. The rest of the revenue will be earned by the subsidiary. Subsidiary sets up an intercompany order (customer is parent) and project. The amount of revenue to be recognized by parent each month depends on the percentage of completion of the project in the subsidiary. Parent will not recognize cost.  Subsidiary recognizes revenue each month based on percentage of completion. Cost recognized is actual cost. After subsidiary completes project, it ships to the customer. It will then bill the parent. For example,Assume the parent received a $100 order.  Parent sets up customer order for $100. Revenue allocated to parent is $20. Revenue allocated to subsidi

Hi, as it is shown even though there are no null value, it throws the error. What is the problem? Anyone have experienced that before? BR 

We were told that there would be a 2 year roadmap or at least a statement of intent made available for review.Over time this seems to have dropped to a ‘roadmap’ covering the actual release and the next one.The last one I can find covers 23R2 and 24R1, how can I find what is due 24R2, 25R1&2 and ideally 26R1?
