Hi All,Most of our customer environments following pods are in pending state or running state even the component is not active in solutionset.yaml # BUSMOD component is not active ifsapp-busmod # MXCORE component is not active ifsmaintenix-appserver ifsmaintenix-reportserver # PBIES component is not active ifsapp-powerbi-svc # RMPANL component is not active ifsapp-rmpanel ifsapp-rmsync # FNDREM component is not active ifsapp-rem # CRYSTL component is not active ifsapp-reporting-crI set replicas: 0 for each pod mentioned above in ifscloud-values.yaml if the component is not active in solutionset.yaml.Is there any reason to be running above pods even the component is not active or is it safe to stop them by setting replicas to 0 in ifscloud-values.yaml?Best Regards,Hashan

HI ,There is a requirement to identify the COGS at the time of invoicing to the customer instead of the time of delivery.When the goods are delivered, the customer wants to transfer the inventory costs to a WIP account, and they want to remove them from the WIP and record them as COGS when they identify the sales.Is there a method to accomplish the above in IFS?The attempt to use a GL automatic posting rule by stating sales as the original code string and reversing the WIP and record COGS as automatic posting rows failed since the amounts for sales and the amount that needs to be subtracted from WIP are different. Highly appreciate your inputs here

Can anyone explain this function and parameter with Example?ABSDAYS

Hi all,I just wanted to confirm if we can connect a write-off code against a CUPOA in the mixed payment window. Thank youDevanthi

Is it possible to remove empty lines in external files, in ‘External File Template Control’?If there is an empty line in the import file - then there is no value to control in the control string - and I can’t find any information if there is a way to define a ‘null’ or ‘empty’ value to control against.The first control with the value ‘Voucher date’ works perfectly - removing the header line.I then have a list of voucher lines - and want to remove/disregard all lines that have an empty value in the first column. The import file could look something like:Voucher date;Account;Cost center;Amount;Project;Object;Tax code;Voucher text2024-05-20;1910;;100;;;1;RAD12024-05-20;3740;;-100;;;2;RAD2-2;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

Good morning,We are using Work Task Cost Codes to repost costs for the Work tasks. We have a question from the business, if there is any possibility to do the same thing with the revenue: move initially to Deferred revenue, and when the Work Order is closed to automatically move from Deferred to Actual revenue. Did anybody find a way to repost the revenue?Is this feature present in any IFS version? Would customization be a viable option?Thanks,Cora

Hi After a clearing of all cache memory, i can no longer get the Astea Application to remember my last opened tabs to reopen them when i next log in. The next time i log in, it reverts back to “home page” Is there any other place i need to try and check?

Currently, we have our Control Plans for Manufacturing setup for 1hr interval time triggers. I’m finding that this may cause more harm than good. I’ve been experimenting over the last few days, and it seems that time triggers will continue to run, even if there is no associate clocked into the Shop Order. An instance of this would be an associate completing the Setup step. The Op status will change to Partially Reported, and the time trigger will continue to run and generate Analysis every hour. It appears the only way to stop this behavior is to select Interrupted. If an associate has selected Start Production, and then stopped production with the status Partially Reported, the time trigger appears to stop. If my understanding is correct, this is simply how time triggers behave. I believe this may cause issues with generation of Analysis when associates would not be expecting to see them. Given that a Shop Order cannot be completed/closed without all Planned Analysis Cancelled or Com

Without entering the invoice customer at the creation of the customer order, can i add one after it is processed?

Hello,Sometimes our project engineers need to make some changes on started project delivables. For example; project started and customer wanting to remove one material. The material is under a manufactued(shop order) part. Engineer is picking part from project deliverables tree and move it to which is non-materail named spare_part object.At that point project deliverables and shop order is coming different stuation. Moved part is already in shop order materails.We tried Calculate Gross Requirements function but shop order is not updating.Are there any way to update shop order as project deliverables in standard from screens? Or should we add a development in Delivery_Structure_API.Move_Item.We are using IFS10 update 10.

Good day.  Anyone that uses the Travel Plan option on the TR?  What is the purpose of the Travel Plan option?  I don’t see any systems effects, though the Travel Plan can be queued to a Responsible person for certain actions e.g Completed/Put on hold etc..  Many thanks.

Hi All,I am trying to get DDMRP working for a client in Apps10, but I seem to be missing something as I don’t see any data on ‘Demand Driven Execution for Parts’ window. Steps followed include;1.Run Cumulative Lead Time calculation for the site.2.Set the buffered parts.3.Run Perform Lead Time Category Classification.4.Run Calculate Historical Average Daily Usage.5.Calculate buffer zones.6.Manual adjustment to ‘ADU’ quantity (to make changes to calculations).7.Recalculate buffer zones.8.Run MRP for site.9.Can see records in ‘Demand Driven Planning for Parts’ window.But can’t see any records in ‘Demand Driven Execution for Parts’ window. So, what am I missing here? Any thoughts?

Hello, Has anyone seen the error "Not possible to calculate relative period with respect to last depreciation date 4/30/23"?We have a TAX Book (no GL postings) that won't run a Depreciation Proposal, and instead gives the above error.This happens when we run July 2023 Proposal (and forward). May and June Proposals processed without issue. But those Proposals did not generate any actual Depreciation and it seems these are related. Go live was related (from an Asset standpoint) to the 4/30/2023 date.Any simple things we may have overlooked? Regards,William Klotz

I have setup work task cost codes and rules to reverse WIP at CO Line Invoiced and I am only doing this for material.  When I issue material on a work task I see the cost code.  I then transfer inventory and update the GL.  I then proceed to invoice the Work Task and post the customer invoice.  I then re-run the transfer inventory (and reposting job) but I am not see the WIP getting reversed.  If I manually release WIP and Check and Update accounting, this works, but I need the automatic to work.  Has anyone had this issue with Work Task Material (M50)

Dear Community We have recently upgraded from Apps9 to IFS Cloud. For the migrated Lobby Elements, the SAVE button does not appear when attempting to edit them (see below). Despite making changes, it just does not appear. Is this by design, or a potential bug? it was the same in 23R1 and 23R2.  Many thanks

Getting a strange error when trying to use two INT REST APIs which are working fine through Aurena. But not working when I try to run it through Postman using basic authentication. Could you kindly go through the below scenario and help me resolve the issue? Below is the Scenario:I am trying to deliver customer order lines using the available rest APIs from the documentation. I am using IFS Apps 10 Update 16I am trying to use REST API with basic authentication REST API - https://[ifshost]/int/ifsapplications/projection/v1/DeliverCustomerOrderLines.svc/DeliverLines Payload { "OrderNo": "M1132", "LineNo": "1", "RelNo": "4", "LineItemNo": 0} Authentication - Basic Projection DeliverCustomerOrderLines.svc is included in compatibility mode and permissions are properly set (the same user name and setup works fine for other REST APIs) Error: { "error": { "code": "DATABASE_ERROR", "message": "Database error occurred. Hello,In Serial Object there is option to Add Serial to service contract, how this works ? In 23R2

Is it possible to disable  "Send Email to" when you print a report On IFS Cloud? Our users are receiving many mail that they don’t need.

Our organization is upgrading from assyst 11.2.3 to assyst 11.7.2. In our current version, optional fields in the service catalog have an (Optional) tag below the field’s name. However, it looks like that tag has disappeared in 11.7.2.Is there a way for that tag to be shown in 11.7.2 automatically? Going through every field of every form to give them a new prefix or suffix is very inconvenient. For reference: In 11.2.3: In 11.7.2:Thanks.

Hi All, I created a simple Custom Event with Event Action  Type Rest Call and Called a POST Action.e.g.Rest End Pointhttps://puhawa5-ru-del1.build.ifs.cloud/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/PurchaseAdditionalCostTypesHandling.svc/PurchaseAdditionalCostTypes Authentication = ROPC.When I trigger the event , it gives me the same error in Application messages even if I use a different Rest End Point. This seems to be a bug (even if I have done something wrong) as I am not sure why I get following error.“ExecutionException from Sender thread Caused by: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: Index 1 out of bounds for length 1”I cannot find any issue with the payload. Event Action Setup   Any thoughts?
