Hi, The business I'm employed by is considering the purchase of Project MRP (or pMRP) to compliment our existing packages (IFS Apps 10 and APB).   However, it's not entirely clear what additional features pMRP provides (and the problems this tackles that the 'stock' planning tools can't).   Can you please outline its key contributions to production planning or at least some information with respect to it. I can't find any detailed resources online for reference.   Many thanks, Jay    

Hi All, I have requirement from customer where they would like to have such option in IFS which allows multiple users to edit the same document at same time.As far as I am aware in IFS it is not possible to access the document by other users until it is been checked back in by the user who checkout to edit the document.So, do we have any such functionality in IFS Cloud?? or Any work around solution to achieve this requirement.You help and suggestions are highly appreciated. Regards,Mithun K V

During the initial installation the DB appowner name was changed from IFSAPP to SYS1APP.Since IFSAPP is needed for IFS Managed Cloud, what needs to be done to change it back to IFSAPP?

How the shop order can be closed, when there is enough purchase part in quantity in stock. Shop order is reserve partially. Recreated in 23R2 Regional test LKP.Manufacture part: SIV-M0002Purchase part: SIV-M0002-1, Note Purchased, Negative On Hand Allowed: On Shop orders no 204774Receive inventory part  in stock SIV-M0002-1 . only 20pcs*Created shop order with lot size 100  > Release the shop order > Manually reserve the inventory part*Now the shop order in partially Reserved.( because we have only 20 pcs)*Just directly issue- When I issue shop order status is completely Reserved.  *Next step I Receive the item. Now the shop order is closed. Shop order closed due to the option Negative on Hand Allowed: On  , in the purchase part. Why no Warning message is pop when receive the material.

Hi Experts,I have a problem with the Repaircenter baseline screen in FSM 6U27.When I click the search button in the Repaircenter screen, it takes nearly 1 minute to show the results. Additionally, if I click on one of the Repaircenter records, it takes nearly 2 minutes to enter the screen. Sometimes, the application is unresponsive when I attempt to enter the Repaircenter record.I have captured the XML query when clicking the search button in Repaircenter, and I have attached the XML.Currently, in my system, the repair_center_view has 80457 records. Can we categorize this as an indexing problem? 

As of 22R2, a Downtime clocking can be started without providing a Downtime Cause.At what point in the production clocking/reporting process is it required to have a value in the Downtime Cause field, e.g., a value must be entered before ‘X’ occurs or before ‘X’ can happen. What is ‘X’?This field cannot remain blank forever, or can it?

We are upgrading to cloud and we read a community post that hinted that IFS was making customer change their app owner names from a custom name defined in the interface to IFSAPP. Is this true? If not is this “recommended”? Does IFS support have a standard document that would guide us in the right direction in making a decision?Our technical resource said that when he was running the pre-scripts that he was able to modify them to account for our custom app owner name. If it helps we are going to be a remote installation (on-prem).

 We have a user who created a manual voucher, but there were no approvers entered. When trying to add them in, we received this error. Has anyone seen this before?

Hi ALl, Working in 23R1 and I noticed some strange behaviour.I created a Work Order from a Customer Order using ‘Related Pages’ > ‘Service Request’. Once the Work Order was created I could go from CO to WO by using ‘Related Pages’ > ‘Connected Work Orders’. But strangely enough, as soon as the WO goes into status ‘Released’, you can no longer navigate from the CO to the WO because the ‘Connected Work Orders’ link is no longer present. It is replaced with ‘Service Request’ again. (see printscreens below). I am happy that there is a possibility to connect a second WO to my CO, but not so happy with the fact that the possibility to easily navigate from CO to Wo is now gone as soon as my WO becomes ‘Released’. Is this intended behaviour or a bug? We are trying to make our Functional Object ID (aka mch_code) be an auto incremented field.  Does anyone know how to do this or if it is at all possible?  Maybe with control - datasource or something in Page Designer?  I am not having much luck looking for help or examples in existing posts.

We are utilizing IFS 10 and moving into Aurena. I am looking for the documentation about Maintenance Surveys to document how to set them up and their capabilities. I am also wondering if a survey can be attached to work task steps or task templates I did not see that as part of the workflow configuration yet. How do you allow a tech to save where they are if you are not utilizing MWO? Finally, can surveys be linked or utilize the measurements in IFS?

Hi,I would like to have more information for the DSE calculation with 2 adresses for Technicians. 1/ I assume that if we set 2 adresses for an Technician : StartShift and Endshift, the DSE will use these inputs in the calculation. Right ?Use case : Startshift adress : Office   Endshift Address : Home 2/ If we set 2 different adresses : Could we have the data of the last travel in the DSE tables (Service Order > Endshift Adress) ?NB : If the Endshift Adress is far from the Startshift, the total travel can be very different and the selection of the technician also for the last service order of the day. Hi,After upgrading from 22r2 to 23r2.3 we got an issue with outbound customer invoicesApplication service update: 23.2.3Framework service update: 23.2.3IFS Cloud Web version: 23.2.3.20240131160230.0IFS OData provider version: 23.2.3.20240130110039.0In the menu “Customer Invoices with Errors” the “Send Error Messages” says:ORA-20105: Archive.KEYERR: Report with key does not exist.We tried to follow the instructions from this 3 year old topic and set the default Life time for report CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP to 1826 days, but it did not work. And if i try to “Process Invoice” manually it works.Has anybody had this problem before?
