Please help to fix following error appearing while create an information source from selected QIS.  

  We want to set up a dashboard in v15.3.3 to see which employee actually is in a Customer Support order.In what tables and in what fields do we have to look to see what ticket the user currently has opened in this dashboard ?We want that dashboard to replace the current customization we have in v10 were we see the “current User” in the UI 

Hi, I am currently working on a project to simulate a signature handling process relating to customer order deliveries. The customer signs for a delivery which marks the order on the IFS Cloud 21r1 platform as delivered but I cannot use the MediaLibraryAttachmentHandling.svc and its end point [PATCH] /MediaItemSet(ItemId={x}) According to Fiddlers traffic logs ( and when a file is inserted via aurena’s UI ).There is an extension of this endpoint ‘/MediaItemSet(ItemId={x})/MediaObject HTTP/1.1’ with RAW data being passed as binary format of a .png image. There is no JSON body being attached as per the IFS API documentation. I am stuck at a point where I cannot understand how I can pass binary data in POSTMAN to this same endpoint. The API documentation isn’t providing any example other helpful instructions as to where the binary gets inserted so it can be passed to IFS’s database. When I copy the application/octet-stream used from the fiddler data, IFS returns a not supported error mess

Hello @Peter Lundgren and others!I am working with a customer who went live with IFSAPP10 UPD7 (IEE only) in 2020 and we have now merged UPD14 to their environments and are performing tests in BnT. When I create a new Inventory Part I got the ORA error ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ("IFSAPP"."QMAN_MANDATORY_PART_TAB"."SIMPLIFIED_REV_HANDLING"). I had to add the relevant site to the Quality Basic Data Site, then it works. This was not a problem in UPD7. I notice that when I create a new site the system automatically creates a record in this page but the customer doesn’t have any records here in their TEST and PROD environement so something must have happened between UPD7 and UPD14. It’s of course a work around to add this info in the Quality Basic Data Site but before asking the customer to do so it would be good to know why it is needed. They don’t use QUAMAN although they have it installed. We have found bug id 160770 that seems relevant in this discussion. Anyone have an idea on

Hello All,A customer in IFS Cloud 21R2 has an object connection transformation that connects the media and documents from equipment objects to the work task level as below: They have setup this correctly as when they create a work order and add an object, if we go to the task, we can see the images and documents of the object in Aurena. This means the object connection transformation works fine.However in the mobile, in My Work they do not see these attachments. This should be because in the mobile application we are dealing with JtExecutionInstance not JtTask.I understand that this was a limitation in Apps 10. Is it still the same for IFS Cloud? Are there any workarounds for this?Should we create object connection transformation for JtExecutionInstance as well?Thanks and Best Regards,Ibrahim​​​​​​​

Hello friends! We have recently implemented IFS as our new ERP while being a relatively small company - our main activity is distributing products, we do not use the manufacturing module.For us the process of delivering a customer order is a bit too complicated and some automatic functionalities create chaos in the shipment area. When thinking of best solutions to have it all under control, I came to the conclusion that the settings we have now - pick list automatically created - is causing this chaos. I however don’t know how to turn off this function. Anyone here can help out with a simple solution? It is probably easy once you know where to look for it in the navigator :) Thank you! PS. I put this question in Supply Chain sub forum - it’s my first time here, so sorry if this is incorrect! :)

We have created a manifest (xml) from our test environment (IFS Cloud 21R2). Manifest is added to Excel successfully and the user can log on and load the FNDMIG job itself. But when trying to load the data this error occurs: Insufficient privileges, "SE_UNAUTHORIZED".The user has full grants in the instance.  

Hi all,APPs 10 Upd 11.It use to be the case that running the ifshome backup prior to installing a new delivery would take around 40 mins to complete by running the create backup script as admin.However, now it is taking over an hour to complete for a 20gb backup. After it passes the hour mark, this message appears and no backup is created. SEVERE: Panic message: Watchdog kicked in, operation takes too long time! Aborting… So, increased the watchdog timeout limit to 2 hours and now the backup is created but it is incomplete as it hits the 2 hour mark and the same error message appears. I dont think a mws backup should take this long to run seeing as the db backup completes in far less time that this.So just wondering what would be considered a “reasonable time” and any suggestions to fix? Thanks

Is there an easy way to see if a service order has been signed by the customer? AFAIK the SA must tick off a box to indicated that signature could not be obtained. And if the order is signed, the signature is stored as a document on the order. But is there a field on the order itself that indicates whether it’s been signed or not? Our service managers would like to know without too much poking around

 We went live in with APPS 10 in Sept 2021 and our year end if 31st Dec.We want to close 2021 and transfer balances to 2022, We have followed the process to do preliminary Year end, clear cost/revenue, followed another Preliminary year end. Question 1We can see that the balance are transferred to  2022, when we run GL Bal analysis, but when we go in GL Voucher row analysis we cannot see the opening balances, we were informed that is due to the fact we have not done Final Year end Process.  How can we view opening balances in GL voucher row analysis. We tried to do the Final Year end, but we got error message , (please see below).  Question 2If we do final year end can we re-open the year again and post the final tax journals.As there was no opening balance 2021, we cannot understand the message below.Can you please help and advise.  Many Thanks Swati

Is there a available REST API we can use to authenticate IFS user. Basically give ifs user id and password as basic auth and check user is a valid ifs user or not. I’m using App10 UPD9.

Is there any way to collect client evaluation of their case resolution in IFS?  IFS APP 10, UPD 7 We will like to have something like this. Hi Community, I migrated SSRS reports from VS2013 to VS2019 for IFS10 upgrades. I installed extensions required by Visual Studio 2019 in order to connect with IFS Oracle Database which includes, Oracle Dev tools for VS2019 and ODT.NET.I am able to test connection with the Report Server. However when I try to preview the SSRS report (inside Visual Studio) I receive this error:  Has anyone encountered this issue before?

Hi, I’m working on the balances. I have a balance with a max limit of 16hours (B-OT4-D), whenener we exceed this limit, i want the excess to be added to another balance (BAL_ACCR)   When we book on the proper wage code after exceeding the limit of 16, it creates this “Balance” line with -8 however it does not affect the 2nd balance BAL_ACCR setup of B-OT4-D I tried also with an accrual on the wage code. The accrued wage code appears on the timesheet but the balance connected to this wage code does not get updated…I don’t understand what setup I’m missing.Thanks in advance
