Hi,

 

Are there options to trigger a process flow when a Customer Support order is opened and closed?

The Event open and close are not available in the dropdown is it possible to add extra events?

 

I can use a Periodically trigger, but than the smallest Occurs is 5 minutes, and that is to long for what i want to do accomplish.

Hi Robin,

in v15.1 there is an option to use events when it is Created and Resolved.  You also could use a query to evaluate the current status when the status is changed also.

It is not possible create additional event types.

Thanks, i am helping Piet with some process flows on version 15.3, and basicly what we want to do is fill a customize field with “Current User” from ap_lock table, so when a order is open orhers can see that the order is current open by a user.

 

So i need a trigger that a order is open or close so i can fill the current urser.

Created and Resolved is not ther right trigger for this.

 

 


I don’t see this as feasible as any changes to the record will not cause other UI screens currently opened for other users to automatically update thus it could be assigned while you are looking at it though it was not assigned at the time you started viewing the record.

So, now I understand what you mean by Open and Close, you meant when a user has opened the document, not that the the support order has an open status.  Two different things and I don’t feel this is possible.

No, these are not events in a way that the process flow can pick it up as the process flow relies on data changes to the database, not that you just started viewing a record or stopped viewing a record.
