Hello, Our technicians have begun reporting an error message when closing a Work Order, or attempting to clock into a newly created one. No changes have been made to the Resources themselves. The only change to the system was an update to UPD 12 (apps 10). Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! They are all set to use the HR calendar: 

Is there a way to automatically set the order status to resolved after fulfilling all assigned activities without out manually going into resolve tab and ticking the resolved checkbox in astea alliance - v15?

Hi,Is it possible to use ISO20022 payment format for employee expense sheet payments? Unfortunately I cannot find it in Apps9. Idea is to use ISO20022 which is already being in use to pay supplier payments but would like to use it for Employee payments as well. Please advise. Thank YouNimesh

I am trying to understand what permissions need to be granted for the “Print Shipment Delivery Note” right mouse button (RMB) to be allowed on the Shipment screen (Sales → shipping → Shipment Delivery → Shipment)  Is there a way to determine which permissions/conditions need to be met for built in RMBs to be enabled?

Looking for some help and advice please. I have several engineers with various problems using the mobile application since we have upgraded to 15.10 .Firstly, each time I clock in the previous mileage is set to 0 so it looks as if I’m doing 50,000 miles a day, also sometimes it takes 3 or 4 times to clock in before it will stay clocked in.Secondly, every day I use the app it takes me to a downloading screen to update which takes around 2-3 minutes each time but I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled the app so I know it’s up to date.Thirdly, whenever I close a job down it doesn’t allow me to go to the final page to close it, instead I get a pop up message telling me I haven’t filled in every field and have to go through 4 pages again where the info is already populated before I can then close the job down.I now have a 4th issue. I cannot accept a receiving order as it tells me I do not have the permissions to do this in admin mode.Engineers are using the followingASTEA mobile edge 15

Hi all,I have a customer (Apps 10) requirement in which they want to have Purchase Requisition Authorization rules with varying approval templates based upon the Project, Sub-project or Activity.  For example, when the PR is released, the application is checking to see which sub-project or activity is associated with the PR and fetch the corresponding PR Rule and associated approval template.  Within Purchase Authorization Basic Data, we can define the applicable Project Role ID, however on the Purchase Requisition Rule itself, we can only define a Project ID or Project Category 1 or 2.  Is there anyway this can be accomplished with core functionality?Thanks,Faraz

I have a user with a wide screen (65” I think). He has an issue that pop-up screens look weird and are hard to use. Example:Creating a new service order and change the caller (click +)  The pop-up window looks like this: On my “regular” system it looks a lot better, and is of course easy to work with: Is there something that can be done (except setting up a multi-screen environment)?

In our live v15 environment, orders are not automatically updated on mobiles. The SAs have to manually refresh the client to se changes/new orders. Any ideas?

Hello, We have encountered an interesting issue. I wonder if anyone has a solution to this.  Process which we would like to have in IFS is:Company manufactures Part A that is serial tracked and it should stay this way.In most cases Part A is a finished good, but sometimes is further processed.If further processed, Part A is a component to another manufactured Part - B. Part B is also serial tracked and it should stay this way.Part B, in simplification, is made by cutting one piece of Part A into two pieces of Part B.So, from one serial number of Part A we receive two serial numbers of Part B. #There is no way to create Product Structure of Part B including component Part A, as qty in assembly cannot be 0.5 for serial tracked parts.#There is no way to receive serial-tracked By-Product.#There is no way to issue on Shop Order (lot size = 2) just one piece of A and receive 2 pieces of B.Running out of option here, or is it just lack of imagination? :) I'd be grateful for any ideas.Regards,

We have a new Controller and we added her to the Voucher Approval workflow.She started on 12/15/2021, but we backdated her in the Voucher Approvers screen to 7/1/2021.We have a voucher that was created 1/5/2022, with a Voucher Date of 12/31/2021.  When she tries to approve it, we get the error Valid From date of the Approver should be earlier than the Voucher Date.Can anyone help with what we are missing?(IFS10 UPD9)

Hi All,ISO20022 Core output file generated by IFS App10 is declined by HSBC since xml tag <Ctry> is missing on the Debtor Agent (<DbtrAgt>) section as shown below.The country code is missing in the <DbtrAgt> section:  Expectation from HSBC is that It should be included in the Debtor Agent (<DbtrAgt>) section as follows.  Appreciate if you could let me know how to fetch a value (e.g. Country Code: NL) to <Ctry> xml tag under Debtor Agent (<DbtrAgt>) section on ISO20022 Core output file. Best regards,Roshan

Hi, I’m not sure if its even possible, but can a shop order output several different part numbers?i.e shop order is for a family of parts to restock a shelf, so the parts produced would need different part numbers, so that they can be consumed by other orders.Thanks 

What are the system requirements for the IFS 9 update 8 App.Currently we are seeing a lot of users that are having memory issues when using IFS 9 update 8or the app is running slow on the clients computers.But the machines are all Intel Core i5 10th. gen. or 11th. gen. with 16GB of ram running latest version of windows 10 pro.

Hello,Hope this message finds y’all well.I’m trying to change my Disposal Posting Method and it’s  mandatory to indicate a Voucher Type (if choose Net or Gross cost) and the only one available is the voucher type A. If I select the voucher type A, it’s not possible to sell fixed assets.Have anyone faced the same problem? Thanks in advance

Hello, I have a custom field on the “Mixed Payment” logical unit.I have an event that triggers when a mixed payment is changed. What would be the best practise to edit a custom field tied to this same mixed payment that is being changed ?From what I could find, I can update the custom field via the MIXED_PAYMENT_CFP package calling the mixed_payment_cfp.cf_modify__ method.However, I need to provide the OBJID field of the mixed payment, which isn’t available part of the event attributes. As a work around, I am getting the OBJID with a cursor and passing it to the modify which then caused mutating table errors.I went around it using the instruction “PRAGMA AUTONOMOUS_TRANSACTION” but I was wondering if there was a better way? I am on apps9.

In MaintEngApp, I am trying to create a planned return line in mobile for a part that is currently in InFacility.  When I go to my part selector, I am unable to see that part # I am looking for.  Looking at the InventoryPart Entity I notice that it only sync’s parts that are in stock.  Is that correct?  Since the Refresh All Inventory Parts builds the Mobile user inventory part table, and the sync entity for InventoryPart has a where clause of (part_no, contract) IN (SELECT muip.part_no, muip.contract FROM mobile_user_invent_part muip WHERE muip.user_id = Fnd_Session_API.Get_Fnd_User)  How do we do a return of a Part Number (and serial) that is not part of out In Stock items?
