Iam trying to create an event or even an api call would be fine for when a background job finishes.  Specifically "Create Pick List for Customer Order".  Our goal is to have the associated order’s PCKNOTE document text updated after the shipment is created from the background job.  I have a custom api call that updates it when I test from SQL but I can’t figure out how to get the event to trigger.  We tried when a new record is inserted into the FRT_SHIPPING_INFO_TAB table.

A couple journal entries were made this month after PCA’s were ran. Is there a way to run PCA’s for the same period after all the steps in the PCA Step Definition have already been Executed?

Hi!A customer reached out and asked about the the SMTP authentication for Event Actions in IFS Cloud 22R1. We have an audit requirement which requires to report the last login date and time for a user in IFS. In APPS8 we could get this information from the SERVER_LOG_TAB using the log category “IFS Sessions’. However, IFS cloud does not have this category as a server log parameter.There are some details in the IAM_LOGIN_EVENT_DETAIL_TAB but seems like it does not keep the long-term history of sessions.Can you advise how to get this data recorded and retrieved on demand?

Dear Experts,We have developed a custom APIs to post transaction data (both header and line-level structures). These APIs have been tested successfully in DEV, TEST, and UAT environments without any issues.Recently, we cloned the UAT environment into a new environment (UAT2). However, in UAT2 the same custom integration fails with the following error:ORA-22813: operand value exceeds system limits The response is always 500 Internal Server Error.We already tried the following: Tested with the original payload (works fine in other environments). Sent a blank/empty JSON payload → still fails with the same error. Verified that standard IFS APIs with POST methods are working fine in UAT2. The problem seems to occur only with the custom API in UAT2. Since the environments are cloned, we expected the behavior to be identical.What could be the possible cause of this error in the cloned environment (UAT2), and what areas should we check (DB settings, CLOB handling, API configuration, etc.

Hello,We are on IFS Applications 8. We need a standard way to record additional attributes/details at the lot level (i.e., information tied to a specific Lot/Batch No, not to the part master).Questions: Does Apps 8 provide any lot-level fields (standard or user-defined) to store extra information on a lot? If so, which screen/table should we use (e.g., Lot/Batch Master, related info tabs, user-defined fields, notes, etc.)? If not, what’s the recommended approach to maintain lot-specific metadata (e.g., configuration, enabling custom fields, using Handling Units, or another object)? Any guidance or configuration pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi All, Imagine the following data setup and scenario. Demand Site - Site ASupply Site - Site BInternal PO X is created on Site A and sent through to Site B where the internal CO Y is created and processed. The pegging is correctly shown. However, even before Y is delivered, PO X on Site A is available in Register Arrival on Site A and can be receipted while CO Y is in a status prior to Delivered. The expectation is that PO X should only be able to be receipted once CO Y is processed through to Delivered. Am I missing a setting here or does IFS have a different rationale behind this?  Thanks in advance!

I created a new report template (FULL_INSPECTION_REPORT_GROUPED_4) to generate this merged report.When triggering the report generation from the WebClient, I receive the following message:"Report FULL_INSPECTION_REPORT_GROUPED_4 is being generated asynchronously."However, I never receive a follow-up notification or download link. The report doesn't appear in the downloads, and I can’t retrieve it from anywhere else either.Has anyone faced a similar issue with asynchronous report generation? Any guidance on how to debug or force the download (e.g., check report queue, logs, or configurations) would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance!

Hello,I am trying to create a calculated custom field to help approvers of count results that are in status rejected see easily the financial impact. I’m happily at the Entity Configuration of CountingResult and add Custom Attribute - Read Only, but with very minimal SQL language skills I’m stuck on which I need to choose, the Select Statement or the Expression. In a simple SQL program I can create a query to pull back the calculated field:Select ((Qty_ONHAND-QTY_COUNTED)*INVENTORY_VALUE) As Count_Valuefrom counting_resultHow do I translate this into an IFS custom field? Cannot explain myself around a behaviour in purchase order authorisation. Below is how my auth rule is setup. Note the ‘Use Delta Amounts for Auth’ is set to Yes. Now, my PO is initially a placeholder for total of 0.01 value. Then a POCO is created to add another line with a value of 120,000.An authorisation is expected on this POCO, however is not fetched when the Delta Amt for Authorisation is set to yes. In my pov, there is a clear delta amt which is within the range of the auth rule. When the Delta Amt check is set to no, the auth rule is fetched. System - IFS Cloud 23.1.3 

Hi,we would like to format some dates in the notification messages.There are functions like place_time, person_time and time_window.But is there a function to get the date only, so without the time?Reason is, we like to inform our customers about appointment via email but we don´t want to have a time in those emails.Anybody any suggestions how to archive this?ThanksBenjamin

Hi all,We have an on prem IFS CLOUD. We're trying to run Scan IT on Android 9 & 10 devices. The Scan IT App works when running on a Windows Device which is in the same subnet as the Android Devices.IFS CLOUD URL itself can be access via Browser, but the App produces:  We assumed maybe the SSL cert CA are not up-to-date. The CA & certificate chain has been uploaded to the Android devices & installed, but same phenomenon.Q: Is anyone using Scan IT on an Android Device for a IFS CLOUD on-prem Setup successfully and/or been confronted with the phenomenon above?

Hello IFS Community, I’m working on a report where the First Page is disabled and I’m using only the Repeat Page.I have a header text that I want to show only on the very first printed page (Red Block-screenshot below) (which is the first Repeat Page), and then hide it on all subsequent pages.How can I achieve this?I’ve tried visibility conditions using functions like GetPageNumber() = 1, CurrentPage() = 1, and PageNumber() = 1, as well as iif(GetPageNumber() = 1, true, false), but the report stops printing when I apply them. I’m on Report Designer 200.3.0001 (IFS Cloud 24 R2). Any idea?

Version used: IFS Apps 10 Update 9 I noticed that upon creation of a line in Customer Order, system fetches the cost of that part from inventory part in stock and stores in ‘Cost’ field at CO line. But, system doesn’t considers exchange rate if the currency in CO is different from the currency in which item’s cost is stored in inventory. E.g., If part cost in inventory is 100 BRL and customer order currency is USD, system is populating ‘Cost’ field at CO line with 100 value and does not apply exchange rate conversion. How to fix this ?#IFSRnD
