Hello i am working in a IFS cloud instance version 23.2.5. I am trying to configure the mail sender. I have received the mail token and secret from our messaging team at my company. I have created a test event that generates an email when i create a new unit of measure within the app itself. Hello,In our current IFS Cloud 25R1 setup, we have noticed that the standard expense process works as follows: The employee submits the expense sheet. The line manager reviews and approves it. The finance team must then authorize the expense sheet before it can proceed to payment. For our business process, once the line manager approves an expense, we would like it to be ready for payment without requiring the authorization step.My questions are: Is there any configuration setting in IFS Cloud 25R1 that allows us to remove or bypass the finance authorization step entirely? If not, has anyone implemented a workaround such as a custom event, workflow modification, or any other tailoring to achieve this? Are there any risks or limitations we should be aware of if we remove this step? Any guidance, examples, or documentation references would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help! 

What is the best practice to back order parts on a SV , eg if we have x 30 serialized items to BO , sourcing each one iat a time is time consuming creating 30lines 😥wondering if any one have a better solution. Thanks

Our IFS cloud deployment of 23R2 is working fine. I’ve been using the OData APIs to build integrations with external software. So far, all of the paths I have used are for projections, with some form of:/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/CustomerOrderHandling.svcHowever now I’m trying to use some entity paths like this:/int/ifsapplications/entity/v1/CustomerOrderEntity.svcThese are failing with this response: {  error: {    code: "ODP_SERVICE_IS_NOT_ACTIVE",    message: "Service is not active."  }}Anyone know how to resolve this?Thanks,-Chris

Hello IFS commnity, I have created some PDF_REPORT_CREATED custom event actions that will send an email according to the custom code I have created and it is sending the email normally.For example form the Purchase Order when it is in Released status , you have three ways to send the email.If you select the Print Order or Print Order Work Copy option and send the email after previewing it, I am able to receive the custom email. See the screenshot below.Now, if I select the E-mail Order option, it sends an email that I believe is generated by IFS by default. I’m wondering where I can find the structure or template of that email within IFS.I need to know how I can find the details of the email mentioned above. It’s not configured at the Custom Event Action level. Where else could I find it in IFS? Thanks, 

Hello everyone,I'm working on a workflow where I need to:Fetch the results of a quick report, Convert the output into a CSV file, and Send that file as an email attachment using a custom projection.I've already created a custom projection that uses Command_Sys.Mail() (Overload 1), as suggested in some other forum posts. The process works well overall, the report is fetched and converted to CSV, but I’ve hit a limitation: the VARCHAR2 parameter is too small to hold the full content of the report. Because of this, I can’t reliably use the Mail procedure in its current form.I considered switching to Command_Sys.Mail() (Overload 2), which supports CLOB input for both the message body and attachments. One of the operations is MONTAJ (assembly). We'd like to perform this operation in two different work centers: 13 units in Work Center 555 7 units in Work Center 602 However, here are the limitations I'm facing:❌ Challenges: I cannot edit the "Qty to Report" field in the Operation tab. Question to the configuration and framework gurus: Is it possible to configure hierarchical LoVs using custom fields? We often see this use case in failure trees, where up to 5 fields are populated to categorize a problem (and potentially present suggested solutions).For example, in Field1 you can choose 1, 2, 3. When you select 1, Field2 offers 1.1, 1.2, 1.3. I suspect I may be missing something obvious but looking for help with this.Apps10. We have documents (e.g. Calibration documents) of a particular Document Class that were attached to records (Manufacturing Tools) in the past.At the time of the files being attached/uploaded the Document Class in question had incorrect access configured.This has now been fixed, so that the correct Document Groups now have access to this Document Class, however none of the existing files are not retroactively inheriting these permissions.  New files of the same Document Class that we attach now have corrected access controls, but the old ones remain unchanged in terms of access.How can we update the access permissions on existing documents of a specific Document Class to get the current correct access that is assigned to that same Document Class? Is there an additional step or script that I need to run to force this change to apply to previously attached files? Thanks,Nick

We have a problem at IFS Cloud 24.2.4. At unpredictable times, the system stops generating any PDF reports, and we are forced to restart the system. Actions like clearing the report queue or deleting the report node do not help. The error message is provided below. Is there any improvement we can implement or any memory increase or monitoring steps we should consider? We currently have 2 nodes in the reporting cluster.The report might contain errors or the nodes might not be able to handle the reports which were concurrently executing with the available resources.Regards.

Hello, I have been exploring the new report studio functionality in IFS Cloud 24R2. I was trying to figure out how the dynamic signatures worked. I was able to utilize the Signature function but was hoping to dynamically change the signature based off a condition in Report Studio. In report designer, you were able to pull this in using a SQL statement but it seems to use a DB Image function instead? I tried using the DB Image() functionality but I keep printing blanks. My function syntax is this: DBImage('report_signatures','IMAGE' ,'image_name=IFS.jpg') My question is if I want to utilize the DBImage functionality, how could I use it for static data and columns within a report? For example, if I wanted to change the signature depending who is the salesperson on the customer. I feel like I may be missing something simple but I was hoping to get some direction on this. In Page Designer, Fieldranking is supposed to set the order of columns in the list element. When I do this on Business Opportunities, it doesn’t seem to work. We Go-Live in October and setting a column order for heavily trafficked pages is something we want to do to help our computer illiterate sales people.Looking for instructions on this page designer feature.Thanks.

We are seeing an issue where Kanban creates a Transport Task for parts when there is adequate in the work area floor location.  This is not a repeating request, it only creates one Transport Task that is not needed so the warehouse team end up essentially doubling the max quantity of floor material which in some areas is not possible.We are using forwarding for the parts to the work floor, such that when the kanban runs it for a part needed at location X, it creates a Transport Task from the warehouse to the staging area, and then as soon as that Transport Task is executed IFS automatically creates another Transport Task to location X.  This is working fine apart from the fact that it creates this single extra TT for each part flowing through the staging area.After stepping through the code we can see that IFS is not looking at the floor area to calculate the quantity the parts of hand, it is looking at the staging area instead. Example:Floor area X has physical quantity of 20 IFS also
