Something I noticed was in Apps 10, for maintenance surveys, even if you have defined more than three surveys for one work type, only the first three surveys are triggered. I tested this for a customer and as well as in one of our internal environments and the behavior was similar.  Is there a way to go around this? Is there a parameter setup I’m not aware about?  Thank you,  

IFS version 22R2 in the cloudWhat prerequisite step is needed to run Inventory Value Per Period.  We reconciled as expected in May but when I try to run for June nothing appears.  Does a period need to be opened somewhere or did we miss a step when we reconciled May?Search attributes are Year 2024 and Period 6, then Search and nothing is produced.  I get the May data when I use period 5 though. Thanks in advance for any help:-)  

Both the Planning and Employee Allocation tabs of Activity Resource Planning have a field labelled Report Code.  It is not insertable or updateable on either of these tabs and always has the value of %.While training, I could not explain to our customer what it it is used for in this context or why it is there.  There is no field description that might help.  The page help is useless.Miight there be someone who has an answer for this?Thank you.PatrickPS:  No need to explaing to me what a Report Code is, that’s basic and well understood.

When back order parts the status shows as BO /Needed , what setting in the warehouse needs to be changed to show the status as BO / Allocated ?The warehouse is currently on Automatic receipt. 

We are currently using IFS Apps 9, and I am relatively new to the ERP system. As I familiarize myself with IFS, I am working on creating a quick report to retrieve purchase order line details associated with general ledger vouchers.In the Purchase Transaction History form, there is a field for the part number description E.g. (Dye Penetrant Testing in the below screenshot), but unfortunately, there is no direct column for the part description available in this view. To retrieve the part description, I am aware that I can join the Purchase Order Line table. However, I am curious if there is an alternative method to obtain this data without requiring a join. Hello Community!Is it possible to import employee salary expenses from the HCM module to the Business Planning module?If so, what is the correct system setup in both the HCM and Business Planning modules to ensure the salary information is transferred to Business Planning?Currently, we are able to import the headcount but not the salary information. We build to customer design, and often our customers grant approval for us to build to a modified specification while they update drawings and specifications in the background. We need the ability to document revision change reasons from our customers. When a document is revised, what would the best practice be for storing customer emails and other documentation related to the Document Revision? 

 HelloIf the resource is a person, from the start date to the completion date the system calculates the order and creates a sales line, this makes it perfect. If the resource is a tool, the system has the option to start and complete, but it does not produce a sales line, I need to bill the time of use of the resource, just as it does with the person resource.  The only option to generate sales lines is to go to the section within the engineering portal called tools and equipment and record the time manually. I have a Resource Assigned to my Project Activity and the internal pricing setup is:Standard Internal PriceMy Resource, PROJECT MANAGER, only has General Cost setup of $133.33.  When I report an hour using the DWTT1 report code, the Internal Cost of the Project Transaction is $133.33.  This was a shock to me.The priority, as I know it is: Priority of Pricing LogicSince I have a report code defined, I believe the system should be following Priority 4.  Am I reading this wrong?  Is it because I have the Resource Defined as % that it does not follow Priority 4  and follows Priority 6?Does this make sense that the system does not recognize the Standard Internal Price if it is setup with a Report Code but with % as the Resource ID?Patrick

I am creating a Lobby element for end users but it is not behaving.I have created a data element based on an IAL and I can preview it and I get data results as expected. When I try ro select Columns though, I have to manually type the names. They do not appear in the drop down to select, but manually typing does workWhen I try to use the data elemend in a List display object, it refuses to show data. I just get a green cross and no data.The user has access to the data. I have tried creating an IAL and a quick information and a view direct into the IFSAPP schema but the Display element still will not show any data and none of the methods will let me choose the field names from the Colums sectio.Does anyone have an idea why Element willnot display results

We have several thousan addresses missing zip codes. Is there a way to force the address validation process to add zip code (if there is only 1 match) in silent mode? And ideally using Geocode only if street address is not the same?Using interactive mode is extremely time-consuming

In Apps 9, and Apps 10 we used to have good field level help for the many fields that are used on the Project Peformance Analysis.  It gave the formulas for values like BAWC and the SPI and CPI values (among many others).  Those prized bits of information are not in any of the newer versions, as far as I can tell.I remember material that I wish I’d saved that had a graph of the project costs versus time and it illustrate how the schedule vairance and cost variance cause the IEAC to change.  I’m hoping that someone may have some of this old material and can forward it to me or add it to this topic.Thank you.Patrick

I’m struggling with getting the Resource Analysis screen to behave.  This is the analysis of my person group.  The capacity starts today, which is the day I’ve run the Refresh Snapshot.(See attachment named Resource Analysis for a Person Group Resource.png. If I look at the Resource Analysis for the individual who is assigned to the Project Manager person group, I get the expected result.(See attachment named Resource Analysis for a Person Resource.png) I have the Resource Analysis Demand Snapshot set to a -30 day start offset and the Resource Schedules and Capacity set to a -100 day start offset.  Automatic Calculation is ON.Might anyone have a clue as to why the snapshot for the person group is different than the snapshot for a person?

Hi everyone, Once in a while we get this error (Could not load file or assembly, example in image below), where users are not able to enter a menu which they have privilege's for.The solution we have had so far, is to delete the 2.0 folder from the users APPDATA/APPS windows folder, and on reentry to IFS, they are able to access the same menu. The question I would like to ask, is if this is the best possible solution, or if there is another way to understand why this happens and solve it, without the need to delete the 2.0 folder? Thanks in advance!  

We have several profiles in v15 - on one of the (a new one) we are not allowed to move inventiry from bad bin to used bin. I can search for serials in Bad bin, but Astea claims there are 0 available even after I pick one from the list. I assume this is a setup, but I have looked “everywhere” to find this setting  

In Aurena, is there a way to change the name of the selector filter label “Site” to “CodeE” so that there is not 2 Site selector filters?

Good afternoon all,  I am after a little help/advise. My company are looking to add the Harmonized System (HS) codes to the inventory Part Record using the Customs Stat No field (unless anyone can advise me differently). We have identified over 100,000 inventory parts tariff codes and I wondered if anyone knows of a way to bulk upload them from an excel spreadsheet? At present the field is blank.
