I have searched the forums but I have not been able to find the answer to this:A lot of our documents are created outside of IFS. Before IFS Cloud (i.e. IFS Applications 10) we could create a document in IFS with no file.refs and drag and drop the file to the file refs tab.This does not work now, and there is no + button to press either as I have illustrated below.Does anyone know how to import or check in a file to an existing document from IFS Cloud? Our current environment is IFS Application 10 Update 8.We have created an integration between IFS and Ignition using Rest API allowing Ignition to display shop orders, shop order operations and material lines in the order production needs to run them. The last step we need to accomplish is being able to retrieve the documents and images attached to the material lines.  We use document management for the PDF’s and media items for the images of the products. I have been unable to located or figure out the Rest API to allow us to download the documents or images attached to the material lines.   Can someone shed some light on the REST API’s we’d need to utilize to download the files so we can display the information within Ignition. Regards,William Klotz

I created a custom object in IFS cloud, but it is not listed in the page designer business representatives. Seems custom fields are not used before in the system. Any material which says A-Z flow or any advice?

Hi, In App9 IEE, we have a customer requirement to limit access to marked Customer (Customer Order/Line/Invoice) related information for session user.so that only designated users will have access to that information.The standard Field ‘Form of business’ at Customer window will be used in combine with access check (User without New permission set ABC_ACCESS granted) will prevent users to access Customer with ‘Form of business’ = ‘ABC’.I would like to hear your inputs regarding the technical feasibility of the suggested solution OR there could be another approach to limit access to specific data related to Customer. Thank you!   Set up basic data for ‘Form of business’. New Permission set

23.2.4In Visual Shop Order Operations Planning, I am trying to sequence operations with characteristics in a Work Center in the Machine Operations Scheduling Gantt.The documentation reads as:To sequence all operations for a resource or work center loaded in the Gantt chart, open the card for the resource or day and click Sequence. To sequence all operations for a resource or work center on one or several days, select the relevant day(s) for the resource and click Sequence. To sequence specific operations, select the relevant operations and click Sequence.For #2, how can a user select the days in the Gantt, where should a user click for this?For #3, when I select one operation in the Gantt the Sequence command is available, but when I select multiple operations the Sequence command is not available. 

How to handle customisation of Deploy.ini file in IFS Cloud

HiI am currently working with a client who requires the ability to raise purchase requisitions in MWO Service app. When I open the option New Purchase Requisition I cannot see any parts in the LOV.Can someone explain the setup required to view parts in LOV for the purchase requisition please.I’ve read the 23R2 Demystified and it does not give me the information I require.Note : I have a Purchase Part and Supplier for Part.ThanksG

We have a debit invoice and now user wants to raise a Credit Note for some reasons. But the Debit invoice has VAT and the user doesn’t want VAT amount to be included in the Credit Note or Credit Invoice.Is there any possibility to raise credit note without VAT included?Also, the user has created multiple wrong invoices while trying to raise credit note without VAT, but now the user wants to cancel these wrong invoice which was created. Please guide on how we can cancel the invoices created wrongly. Thanks in Advance.

Just wondering if we have a number of LTU users, are these easily turned into full license users (if license limit is not reached yet). So Donald is now an LTU user, but tomorrow will be a full license user due to change in career path.Likewise, is it possible to turn a full license user into an LTU user?

Hi all.We have just upgraded our test environment ETM to 1.7 which introduces the HTTP(S) to the mix and are putting it through its paces to see what we could use it for.One use case we are looking at is possibly replacing a script we have running on our integration VM. We use future actions to trigger a stop clock action, with assyst user setting the date to ‘come off hold’ and leaving the success checkbox as false. We need to sync accountExpires date field from AD in usr_flag2 field of contact user. I am able to sync the data but the data seems to be in datetime or other format.  For example expiry date for a user is set Monday June 3,2024 in AD but when i run the CUG process the value it updates in usr_flag2 field is 1336194720. How can I update the field with proper date format?     

Hi,We are having errors when uploading our ISO20022 file to HSBC UK platform. The error is related to the PMTINFID tag. IFS generates the information using 35 characters and HSBC UK ask for 18 characters. Anybody have any suggestions what to do?Thanks,   

Hello,We are using IFS Mobile 6.25.8597 (Rev.2) under Windows and are also testing the use under iOS. Here we use IFS Mobile 6.12.7886 (Rev.2). Do these versions correspond, or is there also a version 6.25.8597 under iOS?Best regards

Hi, As anybody already encountered this issue : having the dates of the Dispatch Console “truncated” on the screen ?  As highlighted, dates are not displayed in full, with Mozilla browser.  Further more, I can see that time slices are not the same as in Edge (for instance).  Is there any parameter for that ? Thanks.

We get a lot of service orders where quantity is 0 for Time travel (t_travel) - this is exported through GL Batch/GL Export. Is there a way to stop this from being exported (when value is 0)?

Hi ALl, When we have a Work Task assigned to a FSE, we use the MWO so we can track his travel/waiting and working time. This is being tracked very detailed per minute, per second, but we want to invoice per hour started or even per half day started. (so always round up). How do we do this exactly? Is this based on the Sales UoM of the Non-inventory Sales part? It seems something that we should be able to do quite easily but I never spend much thought on this. Best RegardsRoel
