Could anyone please explain why when creating accounting periods IFS populates the description with multiple years ?

Hi
As per my understanding The description of the accounting period is displayed automatically for existing periods. When you create new periods, you can specify optional descriptions.
Seems like you have edited the “Description” column?
BTW you can edit it.
