Are there any steps for migrating excel data into customer order line using latest IFS excel migration.

Dear community, I wonder if the following is possible? any ideas would be great. Create PR and Convert to PO for non-part line Create WO on serial object Connect PO created in Step 1 to Work Order so costs can be captured on the Work Order?I know you can peg the Material Req demand to existing PO “manual pegging” but this is for non-inventory part or non part coded items. Any help would be great. Thanks.David

We a getting several zero quantity records in Inventory Value per period where total inventory value is not zero.  I understand that the ROUNDDIFF transactions should balance these out at the end of the period but we are NOT getting ROUNDDIFF transactions.  We use the Inventory value per period screen as an audit record for inventory in stock.  Auditors do not like when zero * zero equals a dollar amount that is not zero at the end of the period.  SO I have a few questions:What are others doing for audit records of inventory values? If it is the inventory value per period screen, how are you explaining the total inventory value amounts when all quantities are zero What do you do when no ROUNDDIFF records are created?

Once an inventoried material is added to either Serial Object or Functional Object under the Spare Parts tab, how do you then select that material when you are in a Work Order under the Materials tab?

I have seen a couple of other users raise this question but these were some time ago and the answers not really conducive to our environment.  I wonder if there has been any development on this for either Apps9 or in Cloud.   Our Scenario is that we ‘buy’ a KIT from our supplier and that is what we are invoiced for.  What we put into stock are 150 separate inventory parts.  So, yes, a reverse of the Customer Order/Sales ‘Package Parts’  functionality.  Any thoughts/suggestions gratefully received!

In a Service Order for the open activity you can swith on “Long Duration Activity” for activities with a longer duration then the shift of the engineer. In Disptach Console, you see the actvity split over multiple days. But in the work order in Mobile Edge, the engineer only sees 1 activity.How can the engineer enter the travel and activity executed on both days like indicated in DC?first day: start travel - start work - stop work second day: start travel - start work - stop work - resolve order

Even though I searched for a solution on the community, I couldn’t find any usfeul information. Attached are the screens that show up during report generation. Any help is appreciated.

We have faced a problem with using REST sender with client credential flow and when investigating it was found that the problem is with the token fetching request.IFS is sending client id and secret in two places, As basic authentication in the header and the url encoded request body.Seems sending the client secret in the body is faulty.Is this a bug or is there any workaround to not to include the client secret in the token payload.Issue was found in IFS Cloud 22R2 but we observed same problem in Apps10 UPD 16 as well

 One of the customers are requesting a demo with Notify Me for PR authorization but, i'm only seeing notify me allowing authorization of the whole PR at once. Not line wise authorization like in IFS.Same with rejecting, it will reject the first line always, and then again reject the second line. There is no option as such to select which line to reject?Is this the intended behavior or am i missing anything?Thank you in advance

I’m in 23R1 and I need to setup a company in Canada.  I already have a company setup in USA and that is working fine.  But when I try to enter a new company for Canada, I cannot select Canada from the dropdown.  Only US and Germany appear in the dropdown.  CA is defined in the ISO list of countries.  Can you help with the question. 

Hi, I have an application-server-task setup for job-type = ‘QuickReport’. Hi , I just created a work flow, and inside it , I would like to call a Projection like this: As you can see, I need pass the “Objkey” to VirtualSet  inside the URL,while, in work flow there is no way to pass parameter to a VirtualSet I passed Objkey , but it failed to call.

I want to be able to issue Standard Inventory to a Project Demand.  In several areas, there are references to a command referred to as Net Project Material.  Which is, as I understand and remember it, is a way to reserver standard inventory to a project.  The About section on Project Inventory has the sentence: Project-pegged demands can usually be configured to use either standard or project inventory.We also have this in the Execute Project Miscellaneous Demand process description and it refers to the part being a standard planned itemA material or part can either be standard or project-specific. If the part is a standard planned item, the demand for it will be seen by standard MRP and order point calculations. The part can also be reserved or issued from standard inventory if there is quantity available.I’m looking for some guidance on how to set this up and uses the system to Net the material from standard inventory to a project or to have the demand use standard inventory.Thank yo
