Hi! So let me explain my problem. I want to be able to register a gender on person. Normally I would do this by configuring a Entity field on the PersonInfo view. However, in IFS Cloud this view is blocked for custom entities so I've thought the following work around:I've made a complete new Custom Entity called CPersonGender with 2 fields Person_ID - Persistent -  String(100) Gender - Persistent - Enumeration I created a custom projection on Personhandling and linked this Entity to the Person Added the Entity on the page as a group Once I configure the binding however, the drop down list for Gender is unusable since no record is linked to the person_ID yet. How can I make the group Create a record if no record is present yet?

We use App10 for Supply Chain, Shop Order and Finance and we run MRP every day.What would happen if we turn of MRP?How will that affect us? RegardsAnna

Some fixed assets need to be transferred from one company to another company. But it is not possible to transfer because the object ID is the same in two companies. Shows the following  error. How to solve it ?Advance thanks for solving the problem.

Hi, I have created a refill putaway zone remote warehouse which I have attached to my user. I have then created my remote warehouse assortment which creates my Purchase Req. When I convert this to a PO I see that it has a destination warehouse which matches my users remote warehouse. Why do I then have the following problems:I see all PO’s in that site, it is not specific to my users remote warehouse Only certain parts appear in my stock when receiving it in. I can see I have multiple parts in stock in IFS but not in MWO.Thanks,George.

Hi, I need to add a line into the Header of the SEPA file. it’s a constant, like company name. Please note SEPA is working fine - we just need to add a header line.We can’t figure it out.There is no “File Template ID” associated with it. Client Mapping is only columns. I’m stumped. Obviously, there’s a place where this information is added to the file, but where or how?Thanks!    

Hi Experts,We would like PSO to display the Resource current location on the map. We can capture the current Lat and Long (GPS) of the resource then I am not sure how to feed this into PSO then under which parameters?Normally we keep/change fixed location details like Resource Start and End location but how we can handle the resource current GPS location data? Thank you,KM

We often find that when customizing Astea Mobile, certain out-of-the-box fields are implemented with control sections (Unsure of the terminology but they are essentially reserved areas):Control SectionThis allows us to delete fields within this section, however it doesn’t allow us to add fields to these areas, or remove the area itself. Meaning that if we don’t utilize the fields in those regions, it will leave large areas of unusable space on the view.I’m wondering 2 things:Is it possible to add fields into these regions via mobile customizer? Is it possible to delete the control region?Thanks!

Hi!We deployed IFS Cloud 23.2.0 into our environments. We see a new Kubernetes deployment named "ifsapp-docman-esign". We tried to find out if we need this component or not. If not we would like to disable it in config file "ifscloud-values.yaml".I couldn't find any documentation in TechDocs (https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/23r2/) or in IFS Community.Can someone provide a link to docs or some docs for this component?What is it for?RegardsTobias

Dear Colleagues.I’d like to gather your opinions how to solve the below issue:My company uses inventory and non-inventory parts to buy certain products. Sometimes we face the situation that the delivered and consumed material is invoiced (matched) and paid, but after some time (even 6 months) we receive correction invoices. How to deal with such situation to correctly update the delivery quantities, cost and warehouse weighted average/unit cost??I suggest using Return option, but it does not affect Invoice anyhow. We cannot match the Correction Invoice with any transactions for this return, because there is none. Doing it manually is wrong.Any ideas will be precious. Thank you 

Select Return in the work task, select the target location, the from location drop-down option will appear, which field in the cloud is this from location?  from location Options Where does the data come from?  This is a required field，but  its no dataNormal returns in the ifs cloud do not have this option（from location）

We are currently running IEE on Apps10.  Recently an account rep for Java reached out to us to ensure we are compliant with Java’s new licensing requirements. I found a document from late 2018 explaining the change and that using Java to run the MWS would still be in compliance (see attached).  I’ve honestly never put any thought into it. When researching the version of Java we have on the MWS, I found that it appears IFS uses two different Java executables (with different versions).  One in the path \{instance}\java\jre\bin and the other being \{instance}\mw_home\java\bin.  It is a Windows Server and both instances are running in the task manager.It seems as if we are in compliance with one of these Java instances, but the other might require a paid license.  It’s possible this server has had Java updated unintentionally, so maybe that’s the reason for this?  Or is there a way to know if IFS sent it this way?We have a call scheduled to discuss with Java, but I’d like to find out as mu

The quote was rejected in the system by the administrator by accident. When I try to recreate the quote from the work order, none of the lines are appearing on the quote. This leads to my question; can you create a new quotation from a previously rejected quote?

Dear all,  I’d like to know if it is possible to transfer a document attached :in PurchaseOrder entity to customer order entity  to purchase order line entity to customerOrderLine entityI know I can use “Object Connection Transformations” but I don’t know the transformation method to use for both cases. (I guess I might use two transformation methods for both case, one for purchase order to Incoming Customer Order and one from Incoming Customer Order to Customer Order // one for purchase order line to Incoming Customer Order line and one from Incoming Customer Order line to Customer Order line)  Best regards,  Laura

Hello,I plan to use Miscellaneous Resource Allocation Categories in Cloud for defining different types of absence categories. In PSO, all absences categories are shown with the same colour (e.g. orange when using Color Activities by Status). Hi, When reporting external cost manually on a Work Task with a Object, the external cost reported is visible for the Object ID in Equipment Object Navigator.But, if reporting external cost manually on a work task without a object , the objects are on  Work Tasks steps, the external cost reported is not visible on any of the objects connected to the steps. How can i report a external cost on a Work Task with steps and get the external cost to be distributed on the differet objects connected the steps? Or can i in some way decide witch object that the cost relates to?Thanks in advance!
