Hi,I have a question and I need your help.I have a request work task that I have completed it in mobile work order but still, the status in Cloud remains ,,work started,,. If I try to change it manually, it tells me that I have an active assignment, but in MWO the only assignment I had is completed. Do you have any idea why this is happening and how to set the status to work done? I am using IFS Cloud 24.1Thank you in advance!Best Regards, Miruna

Hi, I am having an action which takes LongText as input, inturn I have used CLOB datatype to parse the longtext value in my procedure, but when I send the string via postman it gives error as “ODP_DESERIALIZATION_ERROR”.Is there a way to parse the longtext values or BLOB values.  Thanks in advance 

Hi,To streamline our processes in our of our business lines we decided to automate part of the shipment process. To do so, we’ve created a Customer Order Type and a Shipment Type which both stops after the order confirmation is printed, meaning that in theory once the parts are reserved it should create a pick list, pick the parts, dispatch and invoice the order. Unfortunately, it doesn’t do that, If we reserve parts it gets stuck there though if I press “Report Reserved Quantities as Picked” it triggers the processes and it will automatically perform the steps mentioned above. My assumption is the issue lies somewhere with the pick list so I’ve added the pick list report in Report Printers and set it to No_Printout but that hasn’t changed a thing. Any advice would be welcome.Cheers !     

This new expansion ‘+’ has appeared in the Dispatch Console with the install of SU7 (Web Portal). This is a feature that was originally part of the Astea Browser and we were more than happy to see it go away. Is there a way to disable this feature so these lines are AWAYS expanded by default?  

Can we add custom background image from our local machine or from a link in lobby element???

Why do some Order lines automatically goto Invoice once Delivered? Order Type ‘PO’ should stop after Print Delivery? Is there some other auto-process that would cause some lines to Invoice but not others? It seems ‘Supply Code’ might? When process the lines with ‘Supply Code’ = ‘Invent Order’ the system stops before Invoicing but lines with ‘Supply Code’=’Int Purch Trans’ will auto invoice once Delivered. We don’t want to auto-invoice the lines.Please point me to a solution, thanks.

When we run payments in full, expenses gets authorized for payments, but if we do not want certain expenses to be transferred for payments, we can remove authorization by doing this,But when I try to remove authorization, I’m getting below error, Can anyone please advise, why I’m not able to remove this authorization ?

Hi All, I have a question around automatic creation of Locations in the service module. My understanding is that if you set up a customer address with an address type of visit it will auto create a location in service. However when I have done this, nothing has been created. Is there a setting I need to turn on to do this?  

Hi,We have a new integration which creates Absence registrations in our Apps 10 environment via the REST API.These registrations do not appear on the Resource Monitoring Gantt though.If I manually create a registration in Apps 10 with the exact same Absence parameters, it appears on the Gantt almost immediately.I don’t see anything obvious in the database rows to indicate difference.Is there an additional task we need to complete to have the absence show on the Resource Monitoring Gantt?All 3 registrations in IFS: Database output from the ABSENCE_REGISTRATION view: Resource Monitoring Gantt output

HI ,There is a requirement to identify the COGS at the time of invoicing to the customer instead of the time of delivery.When the goods are delivered, the customer wants to transfer the inventory costs to a WIP account, and they want to remove them from the WIP and record them as COGS when they identify the sales.Is there a method to accomplish the above in IFS?The attempt to use a GL automatic posting rule by stating sales as the original code string and reversing the WIP and record COGS as automatic posting rows failed since the amounts for sales and the amount that needs to be subtracted from WIP are different. Highly appreciate your inputs here

Is it possible to remove empty lines in external files, in ‘External File Template Control’?If there is an empty line in the import file - then there is no value to control in the control string - and I can’t find any information if there is a way to define a ‘null’ or ‘empty’ value to control against.The first control with the value ‘Voucher date’ works perfectly - removing the header line.I then have a list of voucher lines - and want to remove/disregard all lines that have an empty value in the first column. The import file could look something like:Voucher date;Account;Cost center;Amount;Project;Object;Tax code;Voucher text2024-05-20;1910;;100;;;1;RAD12024-05-20;3740;;-100;;;2;RAD2-2;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

Good morning,We are using Work Task Cost Codes to repost costs for the Work tasks. We have a question from the business, if there is any possibility to do the same thing with the revenue: move initially to Deferred revenue, and when the Work Order is closed to automatically move from Deferred to Actual revenue. Did anybody find a way to repost the revenue?Is this feature present in any IFS version? Hi After a clearing of all cache memory, i can no longer get the Astea Application to remember my last opened tabs to reopen them when i next log in. The next time i log in, it reverts back to “home page” Is there any other place i need to try and check? 

Currently, we have our Control Plans for Manufacturing setup for 1hr interval time triggers. I’m finding that this may cause more harm than good. I’ve been experimenting over the last few days, and it seems that time triggers will continue to run, even if there is no associate clocked into the Shop Order. An instance of this would be an associate completing the Setup step. The Op status will change to Partially Reported, and the time trigger will continue to run and generate Analysis every hour. It appears the only way to stop this behavior is to select Interrupted. If an associate has selected Start Production, and then stopped production with the status Partially Reported, the time trigger appears to stop. If my understanding is correct, this is simply how time triggers behave. I believe this may cause issues with generation of Analysis when associates would not be expecting to see them. Without entering the invoice customer at the creation of the customer order, can i add one after it is processed?
