Hi All,

In IFS CLOUD 23 R1, is there a possibility to refresh the client form following a custom event action?

In one of our customer’s Application, a custom event action will change the PO status following some updates in the form. We need to automatically refresh the Purchase Order (PO) form to reflect a status change after that.

Do you think this is possible?

I Appreciate your comments on this.

Thank You,

Best Regards,

Sangeetha Jayamaha.

It is not currently possible to send a webclient refresh request, whether it comes from Event Action or even as a Workflow or Custom Command.

In Apps 10 IEE, Custom Menus had an option to force refresh after execution (event did not though), but that is not possible in Aurena as of yet.

It is definitely something that would be extremely useful, as whenever you trigger a custom event action, workflow or command that changes the data in the entity you’re triggering it from, it’d be much better user experience for the data to be refreshed for the user without requring they refresh the page manually.
