Dear community,

We have two different company in IFS and I set up inter-company setup and it works perfect up to now.

But now, I need to create new part_no’s and configuration structures for supplier site.

The problem is when I match the parts, I have a message like below;

ps: Part1 and Part2 have same configuration characteristics.

I hope someone can help about this situation.

Thanks in advence,

Kind Regards

Ozgun Bal

@Ozgun BAL have you tried to setup Sales Part Cross Reference for OPT1?

Dear @Marcel.Ausan ,

I tested this function but, it didn’t help unfortunately.

I tired Sales Part Cross Reference for OPT1, but it is for to change Customer’s Part no. I need to change supplier’s part number.

Kind regards

Ozgun Bal

Hi,
I suppose Marcel is referring to configure the Sales Part Cross reference in internal site OPT1 for internal customer of site ULG1, as sales part no = T020301002 and customer part no = T020301001.

I also tried this flow in a Core environment, but I cannot update Supplier for Purchase part with a different Supplier Part No for internal supplier:

Nor configure the sales part cross reference in the supply site:

Is your sales part T020301002 using the same inventory part T020301001 in site OPT1?.

Regards,

Pilar

Dear @Pilar Franco ,

Thank you for your answer,

System allows me to save both supplier’s part no , and cross reference.

I think it is because we have 2 sites but from 2 different company, any chance?

I am still testing some changes in the set up, but still I need help here.

Kind Regards

Ozgun Bal

Hi @Ozgun BAL ,

You were right.

Ok, I configured intercompany flows for both non-configurable and configurable parts and in both cases, the system is correctly fetching the second part in supply site just by configuring it in the Supplier Part No of Supplier for Purchase Part in demand site.

Example of configurable parts:

In my case, I had previously created the configuration id with the configuration characteristic values in the supply site. Perhaps that’s the reason of your error, that the system cannot find a valid configuration id that matches the configuration specification values coming in the Incoming Customer Order.

Please, check if that could be the reason for your error.

Regards,

Pilar
