Hi All,Even though the permission set FND_DESIGNER_REPORT has been granted, the Report Studio design interface is not showing up.Could you please advise on possible causes?   

Dear All,i’m facing an problem in issuing the part to location from maintenance material requisition even though having the onhand qty available. Moreover the Qty of the part is under standard inventory. So, kindly suggest if there is any cause for this.

Is it possible for engineers to work across multiple sites within the same company and, additionally across multiple companies.I have a requirement for engineers to carry out work orders in this regard and have visibility of engineering stocks across all relevant sites / companies.Appreciate the answer to this will likely be down to setup, that is currently what I am struggling with. We are currently on Apps8.Furthermore, are the any pitfalls with regards to this that I should be aware of?Thanks in advance.

Hi,Is there a Report for Contractor Time that has been registered but not yet invoiced (PRJT13 Postings Balance)?We are using Time Registration for Contractors to Enter Time Sheets. We then match the Supplier Invoices from the Contractors against the Project Transactions. These use PRJT13 - Project Time Reporting for Contractors Counter Booking. The Project Transactions Time Transaction credits PRJT13. When the Supplier Invoice is matched it debits PRJT13. At any time there will be a balance in the General Ledger in the Account used by PRJT13 relating to to the Contractor Time that has been registered but not yet invoiced (similar to the Purchase Order Receipts leaving a balance in the Account used by M91 relating to what we see in the “Received - Not Yet Invoiced” Report.Thanks for any help.Cheers,Graham

Hi,for one of our customer (Alliance 15.4.3), in several modules (Customer Center, Service Order,..) when the "quick search" field is filled-in in the QBE, then if you want to export the data listed in the scroller (in xls file for example), there are some cases where nothing happens : the is no exported file,  no error message and nothing is written in the log viewer. It’s stange because : - Case 1 : if you fill-in the "quick search" field (and only it) in the QBE with “COMPANY_A”, Alliance extracts N lines, but if you click to export those lines / choose xls file / and “submit”, nothing happens. - Case 2 : if you fill-in the "company" field (and only it) in the QBE with the same value “COMPANY_A”, Alliance extracts exactly the same N lines than in case 1 and the export function works well, you obtain the xls file…So for the SAME data listed in the scroller, you can export in the case n°2 but not in the case n°1. And for an other value, “COMPANY_B” for example, no problem. Can work Order Planning gantt in IFS Cloud 24R1 be enriched with custom fields?I have a requirement where work order planners need to plan and schedule work orders based on Equipment Object groups. Object group is not visible in the gantt view, so my intention was to add it as a custom field with page designer. However there is no list of attributes in the page designer.

We work in Assyst on the creation of new objects using a prefix and an index:Is it possible to use this also via the ETM? When I want to import an object through the ETM, the ShortCode is a mandatory field. Unfortunately, I haven’t found a way to read the last count value from the index in order to provide the ShortCode directly from the ETM.Thank you for your help!Jeremias

Hi together,we have the requirment to develop an interface which transfers data to an external system via REST and to use the response for a 2nd call. We did similar things already many times, usually we call the connect framework from PL/SQL (PLSQL_REST_SENDER_API) and process the response in PL/SQL via callback. This works fine as long the response data is placed in the body by the external system. But in this case we are getting back the response in the header. Is there any possibility to access the header tags? In this case we would need the information of “Location” for further processing.   

Hi @All,I´ve one question, we just installed Update 27 in APPS 10 and got now a strange error message, when we tried to change a weight (WEIGHT_NET in PART_CATALOG) for a part that is in use.The message tells us, that it is not possible to change a weight after there is a invoiced Shipment/customer order for that part.Is this a bug or a “new” function in IFS which cames with the update (we updated from 13 to 27)?Does anyone have experience with that issue?Thanks for any feedback.BRAndre

Does anyone have experience in overriding the connector instance (mail) on report rules?On the report rule, Route to Connect, I can’t get this to work.If there is a mail sender that is marked as ‘default instance’ it will be used when sending the mail. If there is no default mail sender, IFS will select the first mail sender in alphanumerical order. Which means that if you create a mail sender with name ‘AAA’ it will be used before ‘BBB’.On an event action, of type E-mail, it is possible to override the Mail sender.Is this a bug or am I missing something?In  my testing I have created a very simple report rule, that will trigger each time a specific report is printed - and mail it to me. Not a real world scenario but a simplified example that is easy to test. If I select action ‘Send Email’ I can’t override the mail sender at all, seems to only be available on ‘Route to connect’. 

Hello IFS Community,Does anyone know how to send an email via a report rule using a custom sender instead of the default “ifs_noreply”?I’ve already created the custom sender and have successfully sent emails using the PDF_REPORT_CREATED event action. Hi.We’re successfully created a custom note field on the Standard Operation page, with it being brought to other pages via expression/reference custom attributes as well. The field is called Cc Operation DefinitionWe’ve noticed the field only accounts for the data put into it when we use the “Reference” option with “Add Standard Operation” on the pages though, using “Copy” leaves the note field blank. In Shop Order, the assistant doesn’t give you the option to select between Copy or Reference, and the custom field appears blank: On the Routing page however, where the Add Standard Operation allows you to choose between Copy or Reference, choosing Reference populates the custom field with the data thats been added to it: How should we go about making the field populate via the copy option and in other windows as well where the option between the two isn’t offered? Thank you in advance!

Hi experts,We’re facing a strange issue with a custom report layout in IFS Cloud (created using IFS Report Designer). The report is designed for portrait orientation with fixed width and height. When we preview the report in IFS and then print from the preview screen, it comes out perfectly in portrait as expected. But when we print the report directly (without preview), it is always printed in landscape. We are using an Epson LQ-310 printer.So far we have: Verified that the report’s page size (width < height) is correctly set in Report Designer. Checked and changed the printer settings  Has anyone else experienced this mismatch between direct print vs preview print orientation? I saw several posts regarding the same issue.Is there a recommended fix either in the layout properties or in the print agent configuration , to force IFS to always print in portrait mode?Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Why do Barcodes and Fonts shrink using Crystal Reports in IFS APPS10? Is there a fix for this issue?Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue? We are on APPS10 using Crystal reports to create parts labels. When we view in Crystal the barcode is fine but when we print through IFS the barcode/fonts shrinks. The samples show the differences. Thank you,  

Hi all, Issue:On a manually created Shop Order, right-click Manual Pegging… on the Material tab is enabled and I can peg the component to a PO line.On a Customer Order–derived Shop Order, the same Manual Pegging… option is disabled.Question:Is this by design in Apps 8? If so, what is the recommended method to hard-peg a purchased component to a CO-derived Shop Order—should we use a different process on the Purchasing side, or is there a setting/workaround? Thanks! 

Hi I am in a situation where I want to perform Inter company consignment movements. Hope an expert can help with this query.One company (Site A) receives consignments from another internal company (Site B). Site A wants to recognize this as Supplier consignment stocks and Site B wants to identify this as a customer consignment stocks.I set up the following data.Demand Site (A) - Supplier for Purchase Part for Site B - Ownership “Consignment”Supply Site (B) - Part is registed as customer consignment stock for the internal customer site A.  When I try the Inter company POCO flow. Internal customer order is not getting created and it gives this error message.Error on Message Line 2. Error Message: ORA-20110: CustomerOrderLine.NOCONSIGNFORSINGLEOCCADDR: Consignment Stock cannot be used when the Customer Order Line has a Single Occurance address.  ButThis works if I am using the Distribution order functionality but I can only use 1 part at a time.Is the “Distribution Order” is the only way

Hi all,I ran MRP and for part Q-ALML-MDL the system created a Shop Order demand / MRP Make (Planning).How can I convert this demand into an actual Shop Order?Path I’m using:Supply Chain Planning → Material Requirements Planning → MRP Action Proposals WorkbenchI can see the relevant proposal, but I don’t know how to turn it into an SO. The RMB → “Action for Order…” option is visible but disabled. What’s the correct place/step to create the Shop Order from this proposal? Which prerequisites enable “Action for Order” (e.g., Supply Code=Make, routing, firming rules, permissions, time fences)?  Environment: IFS Apps 8Thanks!

Hello everyone,We’ve recently upgraded to IFS Cloud 25R1 and noticed that the API ReceiveCamtFileService used previously for importing bank statements is no longer available.Could someone please advise what is the new recommended approach for importing CAMT.053 (or similar) bank statement files in 25R1?Specifically: Which external file type or template should we use now (e.g. ExtMixedPayment, BankStatement, etc.)? Is there an out-of-the-box replacement for ReceiveCamtFileService, or do we need to set up a custom External File Template for CAMT files?
