Hello Community,We have a scenario where a Shop Order with a lot size of 100 pcs is scheduled using APB.For Operation 10, all 100 pcs are planned to be completed in 21 hours.Considering an 8-hour workday, the operation 10 would take roughly 3 days to complete.My question is: Where in IFS Cloud can we see the per-day planned quantity for such operations?I am looking for a way to monitor the breakdown (e.g., daily planned output) instead of only seeing the total planned hours or duration for the operation.Any guidance, best practices, or navigation tips would be highly appreciated. ​@Björn Hultgren ​@matt.watters would appreciate your input.

In 25R1, when we define the Service Notes in Request the same is not flowing to Request Work Tasks. can any one know about this ?

Issue Description : Activity Details Disappear  After  opening  the Project Scope and schedule  Steps to recreate the issue 1. Navigate to  Project Management >Plan and Execute> Activity - Activity Details  - Dropdown option is available for Setup Parameters, Material and Services, Resource Planning and Monitoring  2. Navigate to Project Management > Plan and Execute > Project Definition -  From project details go to Scope and schedule  3 Activity Scope and Schedule > select Activity 4. Now Navigate to  Project Management >Plan and Execute> Activity - Activity Details is not available. 

Hi Everyone,I came across several posts related to DB connection issues in Developer Studio. I’m also facing a similar error – “too long” – when trying to log in with the same credentials provided for the dev environment. All the details seem correct, but after clicking on Test Connection, I get the “too long” error within a few seconds.We are on the IFS 25R1 environment. Could you kindly advise on this?Many thanks,

 Hi!The requirement is to display the absence hours in the ‘Activity Load Details’ in the “Resource Analysis” page (See screenshot 1) when an employee records absence using ‘Attendance Hours’ in the “Time Registration” window (See screenshot 2). When using the “Time registration” window to record absence, it picks ‘Wage Type’ and ‘Wage Code’ not the absence type. However, would like to know how this connection is built and what are the basic data that we must review to ensure the connection. Hi,Customer needs to analyses material, labour and OH cost in project connected shop order separately in the project monitoring. So, I followed below steps in 25R1 environment. Create the posting cost group as Labour, Material and OH and connected to respective cost bucketConnect 3 WIP GL accounts for M40 posting using control type posting cost groupThen create the shop order connecting to project and release the shop order. Then it appears cost breakup correctly in Project monitoring pageScreen Preview 1 - Shop Order is in Planned Status Screen Preview 2 - Shop Order is in Released Status However, once I close the shop order all cost shown under one cost elementScreen Preview 3 - Shop Order is in Closed Status Is there any additional setup that we need to do or is this the normal system behaviour?Appreciate if anyone can give insight on this Best RegardsNarmada 

Hello!I have made a custom field/custom attribute which is editable and required on page purchase requisition (Entity: PurchaseRequisition). I want the same field on the purchase order page (Entity: PurchaseOrder), but as an uneditable reference to the connected purchase requisition.Both entities are able to host custom fields, and I understand that I must make some sort of read-only custom field on purchase order page as well, but I am lost with regards to what reference option/statement I should use.Can anyone help?

We are trying to migrate Open stock  which I am trying to do using migration job , the data is loaded successfully and can see it under “Inventory Parts in Stock “, what are the next steps to transfer the balance to GL please? I am trying “ Transfer Inventory Transactions “  option but I can’t see any transactions generated ,is there a step in between I am missing here to generate the inventory transactions so that they can be transferred to GL? I can’t see any data under Inventory transaction history as well so looks like I am missing a step here

We are running IFS Applications 10 Update 27 and I would like to grant read access to Application Messages for finance to be able to see what messages has failed. I expected to find it as an Activity in the Permission Set, but was not able to find it.

For audit purposes, is there a way to determine any Labour Row changes on ACTIVE JICs.  i.e. adding an additional Labour Row,  removal of a complete Labour Row, or removing of Certification/Inspection. Currently this detail is not shown on the Task History Tab. (8.3 SP5 u25.)Or is it possible using a Custom Jasper Report? If so which tables should be included.

We have encountered that the "Close Operation" option in "Shop Floor Workbench" is only working when performed by User Id: IFSAPP USER However, when same action is attempted using a different user ID, with same permission grants the action is blocked by the system (Error message states user has not been granted with required permissions

I’m using ETM 1.10.0 and assyst 11.8.4Within the ETM I want to have additional affected users added to an event after it’s created.  (We’re using the Destination process to feed details in the ETM after the event is created.)The mapper resource is set the Event, and I use ‘Record to Update’ to search for the event.  However, although the ETM datamapper gets the correct additional users to add, the result is always ‘No update needed’.This is the only update required on the mapper.  Is there something else I need to select, or some way to force the update, please?

We have reporting rules set-up to process individual payment advice prints.However, it appears that, when you make a BACS payment run, it doesn’t split the payment advice up into seperate Print Jobs. You just get one big file with all the suppliers details in. We want to e-mail each supplier their individually - has anyone had this issue/found a workaround/solution?

Hello IFS Community,I exported a layout from the IFS CFG environment on the Report Definition page. It’s a working layout that I previously modified and now need to update. However, when I try to open it in IFS Report Designer (connected to the CFG environment), the PDF does not open.I haven’t made any changes yet. Even when I try to open layouts that I had successfully modified before, the PDF still does not open.Has anyone experienced this behavior or know what might be causing it?As shown in the screenshot below, I am connected to the CFG environment. 

Hi all, I have a problem with time types and resource groups in IFS Cloud / MWO App.The Situation is, that we have one Resource Group, which contains all other Resource Groups of our different entities.The Reason is, that all resources need to be able to enter the time types in the MWO App independent on where they are in the world and which entity planned them. Now I have the problem, that not always the correct resource group is selectable in the MWO App. Sometimes its there and sometimes not. Independent of Task or Bundle Task or in which entity the resource is employed.For example 2 resources from the US, both working an Request Work Tasks, both identically set up.One can select the correct Time Types and one cant.Has anyone ever had similar issues?Thanks,Chris

Hello Community,I am experiencing an issue when trying to log in to the IFS Field Service Management (FSM) Smart Client on my Windows laptop.Steps to reproduce: Open Start Menu → Search for FSM. Launch the FSM application. Enter Person ID and Password, then click Login. A login window appears, but after submitting credentials I receive an error: "The requested operation could not be completed due to a file system limitation." Clicking on Details shows a log with technical information (I can provide a screenshot or full text if needed). My environment: Device: LAP-1023-01 (x64-based) Processor: Intel Core i5-1235U (12th Gen, 1.3 GHz) RAM: 16 GB OS: Windows 11 Pro, Version 24H2, Build 26100.6584 Installed: 17 Sept 2025 FSM Client: Smart Client (latest available version) Problem:The login fails every time on this laptop. The same FSM user account works fine on other machines (both Smart Client and Web Client). The issue only started after upgrading to Windows 11 Pro 24

Hello I would like to setup payment terms such that the due date is 95 days after the end of month of receipt of invoice. So for example, if the invoice date is September 14, then the due date is 95 days after September 30.   Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Hi.There’s an existing thread on this with a fix here, but following it I was unable to get the migration job working and I’m still receiving the same error. We’re aiming to update only the CODE_F field with a migration job, but running the MIGRATE_SOURCE_DATA job after the CREATE_TABLE_FROM_FILE results in the ORA-20111: Site.NOTEXIST2: The Site object does not exist. error for every line in the file. As  mentioned in the post above, I’ve attempted to add the CONTRACT field into the file mapping, but sadly it has not solved the issue. Any help here would be appreciated.  

Hi I was wondering if there was some documentation or suggestions for dealing with First Article Inspection for manufacturing on IFS. I was hoping for something that would help for implementating.Thanks
