Hi Experts, I have created a new external file template to generate the supplier check payment.plan is to generate this file as soon the check is created via payment order. we have done the setup to the payment formats and suppliers as needed. but still the file is not getting generated. then added this payment format to the supplier,in my external file template, I have ORDER_ID as parameter, should that be a problem?if I execute the file template through the file assistant it creates the output file. what could be the issue here? do I need to setup a separate event on this? Kind Regards!Niyo

Hello, is this a design of IFS or a bug. I am trying to add a person resource to another maintenance organization on the same site and I am getting an error message.This user is primarily responsible for mending and maintaining our production tools but they also have to record data on maintaining the machines they use in there. So we can easily differentiate on which work orders and tasks are for which area we have created separate Maintenance Organization, however it appears that I can not add an employee to multiple Maint Org for the same site.Is this a bug or the way the system is designed, we are currently using 24R2 SU4.

Hi All,I tried to set a sort order on the FSM Repair Centre Screen in the usual way in Primary Table Constraints Editor and noticed it did not work (screen shown below). On loading the baseline screen I then noticed none of the column sorts work when you click each of the column headers. This will likely be why my sort configured in Primary Table Constraints Editor did not work. Have any of you come accross this before and is there a fix? We are on U27. Thanks,Barry

Hi,Lets assume we are using MSO in automatic.We have shop orders outside of the planning horizon in the future.The planning is rolling and reaches the next day.The corresponding shop order are now within the planning horizon.Will the automatic MSO run consider them and plan them as soon we reach the next day?what happens in automatic mode?Kind regards

Hello, We are working on an integration with one of our business partners using the BPA workflows offered by IFS Cloud (We are on 23R1). All the logic is in place and is working as intended, but the BPA fails for “large” datasets. We are using the REST Call Task to send a web request to our partner’s API. The request body/payload cannot be stored as a string because when there are many items, the requestBody would quickly exceed the 2000 character limit to be stored in the Oracle database as a string. If it were to be stored as a string, we would receive a persistence layer exception at the end of the workflow.Instead, we are storing it in a process variable called ‘requestBody’ as an object.The request body field of the REST Call Task requires a string, so we must convert the JSON object to a string using Camunda Spin: JSON(requestBody).toString() in the task.This works perfectly for “small“ payloads. When uploading a large file to import Fixed assets, using the system generated ExtFAObject external file template, we are receiving the following error:  “The depreciation (14695.69) for book INTERNAL is greater than the acquisition value 14500.”This is the same error for all assets, regardless of the actual acquisition value included in the upload.  Can anyone assist with this error?  Here is an example of the data being uploaded - you can see in this case the asset acquisition value is actually 24291.26.  Would appreciate any assistance.  This is happening on all the assets in the file   

Hello,I’ve encountered a behavior in IFS V10 that doesn’t seem normal.create a first customer schedule (progression 1) with one line. I then release the schedule, which creates the customer order line, and I deliver that line.After that, I create a second version of the schedule (progression 2) containing the two lines: the previous one and a new line. When I release it, I receive an error message saying that the system cannot cancel the first line (that is delivered). However, I don’t understand why the system is trying to cancel it.I repeated the same test in IFS Cloud and I do not get this error. So I’m not sure whether this is a V10 issue or if some configuration is missing.Could you please help me with this?Thank you.

Planning Method E+F uses Order Overhead in the MRP calculation. Can someone explain in detail how the Order Overhead is calculated? Is it related to Cost Buckets/Elements. It seems that the Ordering Costs in Inventory Part are also will be considered for manufactured Parts. 

All,When I set up the employees to the resource Customer Support Tooling Work (Person Group) I had no issues with seeing these employees to be seen in the Maintenance Organizations, however when I have set up a new resource of Maintenance (Person Group) I can not see these employees in the Maintenance Organizations.I have noticed that when I look at the employee on the person resource the Maintenance/Service tab where you add the company once expanded the Employemnt is blank for the new set up, what have I missed? I can’t see any difference in set up and I am not aware that we have applied a SU since the first was set up.Original set up New Set Up

Hi! We user IFS8. Is it possible to forbidden creating purchase order with a certain supplier? We have terminated our cooperation with a certain supplier. But buyer can create PO with this supplier still. Then made some error order. We want to avoid it happen again.

 Hi All, I am generating Wo’s from my Service Contract through PM actions. But I noticed that trhe field ‘Contract Id’, ‘Line No’ and ‘Customer No’ are not defined when creating the WO from that Service Contract. That strikes me as odd since that info is easily obtained. Adding the info after creatin is also not possible - IFS will give an error that the Contract ID cannot be edited for WO generated from PM actions. So somewhere in the background, IFS knows the WO was generated from a PM Action/Service Contract ID - but it does not provide the info. Is this a bug of an inconsistency from the application? I have an alternate component set up and the product structure has the Alternate Exist checkbox checked on the component line.  There is no inventory of the original part and there is inventory of the alternate component part.  But when I try to process a shop order the Alternate Exist checkbox is not checked on the shop order and when I right mouse on the line and choose Alternate component/replace, I get an error that No alternate component is defined or component qty required is zero, but that is not true, what am I missing?

Hi,  Unlike PM Actions in FSM when a Request is generated from an Recurring Service Program it is created into Status Released automatically.Below I’ve created 4 scopes from an Recurring Service Program (Object Based). As you can see these Requests and Scopes have automatically been Released. I do not want this to be the case I’d like to keep them in “New” status for them to be reviewed by a Scheduler (just like PM Actions). Is it possible to configure this behaviour (within the application) without a customisation?

Hello,I am setting up a workflow process in which I am sending authorization and decision tasks for end users on the assyst NET side. End users can create a request and if this request requires authorization/decision it is automatically generate and send to them. Authorization is usually done by a different person then the original end user requestor. Question: Can original end user requestor see/view who is the authorizer/decision maker? How to populate this information to the request?

Hi Everyone, I have an issue: I have an active rental in progress. I wanted to create a replacement order, so I right-clicked on my line and selected “Create replacement order”.I released it, reserved it, delivered it, etc.I then went back to my rental follow-up, stopped the rental, and processed an equipment return on the original order. Up to that point, everything was fine.However, when I look at both orders: the original order is still in “Delivered” (the status did not change), and the replacement order was automatically invoiced/closed (I can’t view the invoice details). Should I understand that, logically, even if I processed a material return on the original order and ended the rental earlier than planned, I still need to invoice the original order? (it doesn’t seems logic)The replacement order does have an end date further in the future, and yet it was invoiced and closed automatically — I don’t understand why.What is the process for invoicing when a replacement order is cre

I am a beginner with PSO.I would like to implement data integration from FSM to PSO.Currently, we are able to generate requests from FSM and dispatch technicians (FSM resources) in PSO (the status becomes “Assigned”). However, resource information and various master data have not been integrated into PSO, which is causing issues.I assume that unless data integration from FSM to PSO is properly configured, master data will not be synchronized.I would like to ask for your advice on the following two points: If there are any concrete procedures or operation manuals on how to integrate the master data registered in FSM (such as resources, skills, SLA, etc.) into PSO, could you please share them? I would also appreciate it if you could explain how to transfer data from PSO to MWO. We are able to transfer data from FSM to Mobile, but we do not know how to transfer data from PSO to Mobile.Thank you very much for your support.
