Saving logs and metrics

Hello, it is possible to save and display some error logs and messages to the lobby? Because in IFS Cloud, when some error occures, error message displayes and after few seconds disappers.  Thanks

Update custom field through migration job in IFS Cloud

Is it possible to update values on a custom field through migration job in IFS Cloud?I’m trying to set a value in a custom Cf$ screen using migrate from source data I see no exception but the value is not updated.I even tried hard coding all the keys and value still no luck. Ideas appreciated.

Documents As Email for One User PDF for Another

Hello all, We are using IFS Apps 10. Has anyone experienced one user seeing an attachment as a PDF but all other users seeing it as a .msg? We suspect maybe the user opened a .msg attachment and when asked to use Adobe Acrobat Reader Always or Once, selected Always. Now she can’t open .msg attachments User who is receiving error: All other users: Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you,Carl

Issue SummaryWhen Reporting Picking on a Shipment, IFS is seemingly randomly changing the Handling Unit ID associated with a Shipment Line. The issue occurs approximately 1-2 times a month and we can’t understand the cause and therefore unable to recreate the issue the test environment.Issue Detail2 Shipments have been processed on 10/1/25 for the same Qty of the same Lot Batch of a foods.Part Description: LAVANDA F  214581Lot Batch: 49121/24Qty: 25KGOriginal Handling Unit ID: S25KG (1 container) The Inventory Transaction History shows the following:On Shipment ID: 61259, the Report Picking correctly Issued / Received / Shipped the 25kg in the Handling Unit 728221.  Working as expected.However, on Shipment ID: 61258 which was processed 15mins earlier, between the PICK-IN and OESHIP Transactions, the Handling Unit ID has been changed from 1 x S25KG (728220) (1 x 25kg Steel Drum) to 250 x A100G (250 x 100gram containers).We’d like to understand what triggered the Change Handling Unit on

Using new release BuildHome for remote upgrade

As the title alludes to, can you use the “Recreate Buildhome” function and download a full buildhome of the latest version, to upgrade an existing deployment?The purpose of this would be to condense all the changes i.e. Service Updates taken. For example, if I have an environment that is a few versions behind our build place, I would need to do 24R2 → SU3 → SU5 → SU6 → 25R1. Whereas instead of doing all of the deliveries in order, I could just use the 25R1 recreated buildhome to capture all of those deliveries in one installation/upgrade. I have been advised that considering the buildhome just packages all the changes in your deliveries and includes the first time installation media, it’s absolutely fine to do, but I wanted to confirm.Kind Regards,Damon

Error when update Task Priority (24R2Su7)

Hi Experts,When I try to update Task Priority, the following error will be there.“Task Availability Pattern already exists”.  I can see some Availability data under Scheduling information But I dont undertand the connection between Prority and Availability??I can only update the Prority once I deleted Availability line then if I update Priority again it will create this Availability line??Availability is Setup againt the Customer Location linked to the Object. Please clarify this behavior?  Thanks,KM

filter this year only in IFS cloud Lobby - Shop orders

Please see my images below. I am trying to filter Start Date column and  in Lobby Element Designer using url like below. page/ShopOrders/List?$filter=RevisedStartDate ge #START_OF_THIS_MONTH# and RevisedStartDate le #END_OF_THIS_YEAR#   or page/ShopOrders/List?$filter=(RevisedStartDate ge ‘#START_OF_THIS_MONTH#’ and RevisedStartDate le ‘#END_OF_THIS_YEAR#’) , but kept getting and error. Not sure what could be the issue. Thank you very much in advance.

Custom Field Reference Hyperlink Not Working - IFS Cloud 23R2

Hello,I’ve created a custom reference field in the Functional Objects screen in IFS Cloud 23R2. The LOV linked to the custom field is ‘EquipmentFunctional’. I’m able to add the custom field to the screen and values are populated as expected from the LOV.But when I click on the data (since it is an hyperlink), it does not navigate to the respective functional object record. Using the Page Designer:If we leave the custom field as ‘Editable’, when we click on the data, the screen just refreshes and stays on the existing functional object screen and does nothing. If we leave the field as ‘Read-Only’, it opens a new window and redirects to the functional object screen but does not display the relevant record to be viewed. For example: it needs to display the functional object ‘01010170’.I would like the reference field to be editable and should be able to navigate to the respective functional object record. What am I missing in this process? Please let me know.

Is there a way to prevent the Contract credit card info from copying to the renewal quote?

Is there a way to prevent the Customer Contract credit card info from being copied over to the renewal quote when the “Run Renewal” process is executed?This information is often out of date or not valid for the new quote so it would be better to not have to remember to clear it from the renewal quote.

Hello,maybe someone can consult me how it is possible to design through Page Designer the dialog window “Pre Posting” in the form “Prepare Work Order”?Need to hide one field and cannot find where to do it.I open Page Designer but cannot find the place where to do it. There is no such dialog between listed Dialogs, also cannot find it between the lists and in other places:Where could I modify Pre Posting dialog window?Thank you beforehand:)

Hi everyone,when creating a new Service Request and add to my Work in MWO, how can I display a full list of customers including their locations?Currently, I only see a small subset of customers and I’m not able to select or view the location. We are using IFS Cloud 24R2 Even after selecting a customer, no location is shown: Any advice or configuration hints would be greatly appreciated!

Customer Payment Rollback cannot be cancelled because it is in state Paid

Finance is trying to rollback an incorrect Customer Offset and getting the following error.  How can they make the CUPIA get unpaid to roll this payment back? Thank you,Yvette

IFS Cloud - Event Action Email Message Embed URL

In IFS Cloud, does anyone know how to embed a URL within an event action email message?For example, I created an event that notifies a user when they have been assigned as a coordinator on an MRB. The event sends the user an email and within the email body, it provides the user a link to the MRB they have been assigned to.I do not know how to recreate that URL functionality in IFS Cloud.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Customer Consignment Stock - Single Occurrence address

We have found it is now not possible to enter a ‘Single Occurrence Address’ on a Customer Order due to a change in the code added 07/09/2023,  "--  230907  NiDalk   SCDEV-26130, Modified Check_Before_Update___ to add check to block setting single occurance for consignment stock Is there are background to this change and is there a workaround as this is a requirement.

Default Context When Working With Page Designer

Hello All!Is there a setting in IFS Cloud where I can tell it what context I would like to default to when editing a page via the page designer?  We have several contexts, one of which I am part of, so when I go to open the page designer it defaults to that context.  However, that context is only needed for a couple pages and I am almost always working on the global context instead.  AS an example, here is the context setting when I open the page designer on the purchase order screen -   Notice it defaults to “ACE Part Team”.  This page doesn’t even have a saved configuration for that context, yet it still defaults to this.  I need to remember to change that value to global every time I want to edit, and it is becoming frustrating.

Non-consumed articles default

Is there a way in IFS Cloud to set an item as default as non-consumed at part level instead of doing this at the product structure level?If not, where in IFS cloud can done a mass update for all the product structures the articles is used in.
