Hi everyone,Is it possible in the Item form to compute a field directly while saving the Item, or alternatively via a trigger to the Action Processor?Here’s the scenario:We have two fields:Item End Date Item Notification DaysWe’d like to automatically calculate and keep updated a third field:Item Notification Date = Item End Date - Item Notification DaysThe Item Notification Date should be a read-only field, managed entirely by the system.Has anyone implemented something similar or found a reliable approach to achieve this?Thanks in advance!

We have a customer order line connected to a project. Supply code of the customer order line is Project Inventory. We have a shop order connected to the same project and need to peg the shop order to the customer order line.Querying for the Customer Order in “Manually Pegging of Customer Order Line” produces an information message “No data found”. Can project demands not be manually pegged? Hi,in APPS10 when you filter approval steps in “Document Management - Approvals” users see all the approvals steps not only for them. I found out SQL select, that returns only steps that are for particular user:select * from APPROVAL_CURRENT_STEP where (PERSON_ID = '#PERSON_ID#' OR &AO.Document_Group_Members_API.User_Member_Of_Group(GROUP_ID, '#PERSON_ID#') = 'TRUE') but when I copy it to IFS, it gives me error: Any suggestions??ThanksJan

We have Shipment Types on our Customer Orders set to NR for “at order release”. However, when releasing the CO, it is not creating a shipment ID. It also does not allow for a manual one to be made. Any reasons why this is happening?

Hi.We’re hoping to create an OnServer CREATE_OUTPUT_FILE type migration job that would return all active employees in our organization, including the address data for their listed company work locations. Work location data already exists in the table, but the address data for the work location doesn’t. This is a copy of an older migration job that returns other employee results, and based on that I’ve created a SELECT statement in the File Mapping tab as follows: (SELECT ADDRESS FROM IFSAPP.PERS_COMMS4 WHERE COMPANY_ID = IFSAPP.COMPANY_PERSON.COMPANY_ID AND PERSON_ID = IFSAPP.COMPANY_PERSON.PERSON_ID) With this query, the job runs but returns only partial results and the following error: ORA-01427: single-row subquery returns more than one row As I understand it the Address field is a concatenation of multiple Address fields (Address1, Address2 etc). Hi all, it is not (by default) possible to add location and object based notes in the MWO Service Classic App.I can see the notes created in IFS Cloud, but I cant create anything else than a Task based note in the App.Is it possible to enable this somewhere? Thanks,Chris

Hello,We are using IFS Applications 10 UPD19. I have created a new Quick Report, but it is not accessible via our integration OData endpoint (/QuickReports.svc), resulting in a RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND error. Other, older Quick Reports are accessible through the same API endpoint. In the API Explorer, we can see a Default Application Type (Main) and a Compatibility Application Type (Int). Our Power BI connection uses the Int type. It seems the new Quick Report is not being published to the Int application type's metadata. When published they are supposed to be listed here below, and I do see my report if i open the Main application type, but not in the  Intone for the new report i published.Is there an additional step required to publish a specific new Quick Report to a Compatibility Application Type's OData service? A cache to refresh ? Thank you.

Hi All.Please help me,  I would like to set up the withholding tax on APP 8, as in Italy this needs to be handled separately. Could someone help me with this from the very beginning? The Italian equivalent is Ritenuta d'acconto, which can be applied at different percentages. What basic data settings are required? This should appear during the payment process, and is it controlled by transaction PP49?

I have been struggling to perform a fresh install of IFSAPP10 following the documentation here: Installing Fresh SystemIFS sent my team a vanilla deliverable.  When unzipped, the folder structure matches what is documented here: Folder Structure for Builds Following the Preparing IFS Applications section leads me to IFS Configuration Builder which is where I am getting stuck.  I understand that preparing the IFS application involves compiling source and preparing the database scripts for the installer.  The problem I am running into is that per the Configuring IFS Configuration Builder section, this requires a Customer Configuration File and a Release Repository Catalog neither of which I have nor will I have which means I cannot configure the IFS Configuration Builder.  I also found additional pages on How to Build Manually and Page: Create Build Structure And Compile, but neither provided much insight as to how to build manually with the directory structure I screenshotted above.  Th

Hi All,I use external file assistant to upload the credit card transactions to IFS. Accidentally i uploaded the same file twice how can i remove the duplicated transactions? I can see all the transactions in the credit card transactions window since all belong to non reimbursable credit card type. It is not allowed to delete the transactions from credit card transactions window since the card type is not re imburasableThanks in advance.

Hi, IFS Cloud version 24R2. (Below sample data are from a IFS Demo environment) In the RMA there are multiple lines (from a single customer order). Release → Approve for Credit Create Credit Invoice  View Credit Invoice Four separate invoices have been created. This is quite inconvenient/inaccurate as the customer has about 100 lines at times. Causing to create 100 credit invoices to the same Customer and Customer Order. Is there a possibility to create a single Credit Invoice for multiple RMA| lines ? Any setting or any other window for that ?

Hello all. I have acidently posted a serial part back to the inventory over a work order return. That was the first transaction for this part serial. As it was wrong I have issued it away from the stock over the work order material issue.Now we have received exactly this part - serial number over a purchase order from owr supplier. When I try to register the arrival (RMT receive with serial / Lots in the “Register Arrival” window) I receive the error message:So this serial part has current position “issued” and while we have activated the checkbox “Stop PO Arrivals of Issued Serials” by the Main Part, I receive this error message and cannot register the receipt of this serial.As I know if I will uncheck the checkbox and then register the rereceipt, it will not be possible to set the checkbox back. And I would like to keep this checkbox set, as I need the control, that we don”t post the same serial twice on the inventory.Is their any other possibility to register the receipt of this par

Client asking to get the possibilty to close the shop order while the MRB case is still being solved. I know the IFS doesn´t allow to do this, however anyone has any expirience with this issue?

I am in the process of moving all custom events from Apps8 to Apps10. I am able  to get all custom events functioning after some modification except for events which call "Error_SYS.Record_General()"   When the event is triggered it displays this: https://i.ibb.co/m4Wf1vF/Error.png For instance the message above is displayed when a user changes the count in the "Count Per Inventory Part" screen but does not add a note : a note needs to be added as to why the count is being changed or else the record will not save. The Event Action is below: DECLAREBEGINIF( '&NEW:NOTE_TEXT' IS NULL) THENError_SYS.Record_General('Error','Please add a note in the "Notes" field '); END IF;END;   The body and declaration of Error_SYS.Record_General is the same in Apps8 as it is in Apps10 so my code is correct. Hi, I came across some questions in the Visual Shop Orders Planning screen in IFS Cloud. Appreciate your inputs to resolve those. Version  QuestionWhy the time line is showing only a few days in the week ? Can’t scroll back and forth to see other available days.?There are only 3 operations under this WC Resource. Why this 4th line is showing when there are no operations in that. Settings of the window/Gantt   Is it normal that the users have to refresh the screen after doing some changes in the Gantt, to properly reflect them ? (e.g., after a drag and drop the same operation is still showing at the previous time slot, only after a refresh it is removed from there) Is it possible to see Operations from “Interim Orders” (Interim Order Headers) in this planning screen ?  Any possibility to trigger MRP or Selective MRP from this planning screen?

HiI want to move/offset a parked payment (on company) to a supplier (Generating a payment on account). So I am creating a Mixed Payment (Suplier Payment) on 0 amount linked to a supplier. Then chose/match the Parked Payment from the list. The payment is now not balanced. When trying to approve, the system does ask if I want to create a Payment on account for the Supplier. Saying Yes to that.   Then I do approve the payment. But it does fail, saying:  “The matched amount is bigger than the payment amount in lumb sum”.  How can this be done?  I believe it worked in APPS 10.

How can I enable Technician Portal in IFS Cloud?  Currently the data is not present when I try to access the screens. Please share any configurations/ permission sets required.

In V14.5 we can add almost any module easily, to the home page and we use that to monitor things like when the status is a certain level for Service Orders or Quotations and so on.I can move them around and re-size them and set if they show in one column or two or three.In V15 the items I had already added to V14 were imported across into the Employee Portal but not to the Web Portal.  Also, in the Employee portal I cannot change how many columns they will show in. So my questions are:Can we set up the home page in V15 web Portal, similar to what was in V14 employee portal?  I can see standard widgets only but have not found how to add modules. In V15 Employee Portal, how do we set how many columns to be used? Each time I log in, I notice that the modules set on the home page get smaller (less long) and I have to manually pull them down again (or change the number of columns) but if I forget to do that, they eventually just show a header and I cannot see the data any more. Hi,I am working on a IFS MWO Mobile Development (Customization). I have enabled state machine in one of my newly introduced entity (Planned, Released, Completed, Cancelled). I have added relevant code changes to the .client and .projection and already defined Sync policies on .app file. Now I am facing an issue when changing status from MWO it’s locally changing but not Syncing to the IFS Cloud. All other fields working as expected but ‘Objstate’ doesn’t change..offline file MWO  IFS Cloud  I cannot see any failed transaction on the mobile as well.Any idea will be really appreciated. Thanks & Regards,Asanka.
