IFS Cloud 25R1 On a Person Resource Group Requirements tab, I have specified the Requirements along with a Requirement Source , Requirement ID, and Requirement Value.In the Resource Requirement Analysis screen, the fulfillment by Resource correctly specifies whether the Resources fulfil the Criteria. None, Partially of FullWhen I create a Work Task and assign the Task to a Resource that does not fulfill the requirement criteria, there is no system message to prevent or warn that the Work Task Assignment should not go ahead due to the Resource not fulfilling the Resource Requirement criteria.Is there a standard function in IFS to provide a warning / error message when the resource being assigned does meet the Resource Requirement criteria ?

Hi, Im trying to pass a timestamp parameter into an IFS API call in a workflow. But keep getting the data type conversion error as below. I create the timestamp of sysdate in a javascript task(“Set Sysdate”) and then trying to set it into a variable which is then set into API payload. Could there be any other way to set the parameter other than like ${CurrDate} in this scenario?    Thanks,Regards,Methshika

I’m trying to create an export template but I cannot seem to add criteria successfully. The module I want to use with the export contains thousands of entries so adding the criteria is essential. The export template does not seem to use the search results on the screen which happens when you use the straight “export” function. Running every different option to try and get the criteria, with brackets, without brackets, using “ “ , using = vs IS , all seem to result in a system error. The plain, un filtered template works just fine as per the pic. It’s just the criteria that trips me up, any help or ideas is welcome 

Dear Community,  We have in issue with Apps10 Projections, and maybe some of you faced the same issue previously. We did the following tests:Boomi connection to int API (“…/int/ifsapplications/projection/v1/AllProjections.svc/Projections(ProjectionName='PurchaseOrderHandling'”) => works well Boomi connection to main API (“…/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/AllProjections.svc/Projections(ProjectionName='PurchaseOrderHandling') => failed Postman connection to int API (“…/int/ifsapplications/projection/v1/AllProjections.svc/Projections(ProjectionName='PurchaseOrderHandling'”) => works well Postman connection to main API (“…/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/AllProjections.svc/Projections(ProjectionName='PurchaseOrderHandling'”) => failed Worked with Postman: Failed in Boomi: Failed in Postman:  Previously we had an other test environment and we didn’t realize the same issue.  Do you have idea what could be the issue? Thank you very much in advance for all of your thoughts! 

When multi-level tracking is required on Lot/Batch enabled parts, there are scenarios where standard quantity of a component in the product structure is not truly required to complete the produced part, for example it would OK to issue 9.8 pounds of flour instead of 10.  Or perhaps the component quantities are not discrete, rather going out several decimal places in quantity required, for example a component UOM is pounds.  And as long as the actual amount issued is close to this it would be OK.  With Multi-level tracking turned on, none of these scenarios are possible, as the tracked structure requires all the required quantity to be reserved or issued, or the tracked structure is not complete.  Has anyone found work-arounds for this? I am thinking it might require a modfication to change the validations to allow some level of tolerance around quantity issued versus qty required.

Is it permissible to use HTML Coloured Text  in large text fields, such as JIC Steps?Example<span style="color: #FF0000;"> Red Text Here </span>or <b> <span style="color: #FF0000;"> BOLD Red Text Here </span> </b>It appears to work in our ‘Pre Production’ instance but wondering if there are any side affects. (Jasper Report Work Capture, etc).We are aware of the issue of non-printable characters when copy and paste from MS Office into fields (Unicode errors for apostrophes).Is Html Colour Text likely to create similar errors? Mx Ver 8.3 SP5ThanksRD 

I’m getting an error in Print Manager, (An item with the same key has already been added) but the report is still printing. What would cause this? If i print through ‘Order Report’ I don’t get the error. I ger the error if I print using  RMB sql action or when I print using an event trigger sql action. It happens now on two different reports with different views. Has anybody else seen this error when printing?Thank you,

I would like to make a field on Shipment have a default value of True/Yes...but it is not working for me.Have tried various things...hoping someone can spot it right off 

Cloud File Storage Migration Tool can be used to migrate media items from older releases into Cloud File Storage of IFS Cloud release.But I didn’t find an information that the tool supports archived media items in the source system.Can Cloud File Storage Migration Tool also be used to migrate archived media items even if it’S not documented?If not, what would be a practicable way to migrate archived media items in Apps10 to Cloud File Storage in R24?The volume of media items is extremely big (several TB). Therefore, it’s not an option to first migrate all media items to the Apps 10 database before running the Cloud File Storage Migration Tool.

Hello,I would like to automatically pre-fill the value of the "PartNo" field in the part screen via BPA : So I created this very simple workflow: Which is triggered when you click on the "+" :  However, nothing happens when you click on it.However, if I try to pre-fill the field next to "Description", there's no problem: I have the impression that the "PartNo" field poses a problem because it's the primary key?Is this the case? Why is there no Controlsize for a Custom Field?  

Hi,for a product, a repair cost is defined for a vendor. In bas stock, an inventory item of this product is associated to a warranty type, whose Pricing Rule is FULL COVERAGE. We create a Bulk Repair on this inventory item with this vendor, so the cost should be Zéro EUR but it is not the case, the Bulk repair is valuated with the product repair cost defined for the vendor. In Alliance Help Document, it’s also explained that the bulk cost must be Zero in this case. See attached document (reproduced on QAC,  PR2602160001)Best regards

During our recent production outage, we observed that multiple servers are attempting to delete the same message repeatedly, causing database blocking. The repeated deletion attempts occur within active transactions, leading to locking issues, causing conflicts and prolonged transaction locks. Also, from the server logs we could see a message - 'trying to delete non-existent record'. So, we assume that the request is already processed by server A, and unknowingly server B is processing the same request which resulted in 'trying to delete non-existent record'Could of you help to understand1. Why is the same request (delete commands) being handled by multiple servers?2. How does IFS manage user sessions?3. How to route a request from a single user/device session to the same node till they complete their tasks?4. Why can’t we enforce a “single active session per user” policy?5. The Status fields to choose from are Cancel; Hold; Close; Won, Partially Won; Lost Infact, Won; Lost; and Partially Won are not Statuses but States. Why are Status and State in the same Status bar? We now have problems with salespersons choosing the state WON or LOST from the Status list, which still keeps the BO active as the status should have been Closed and then choose Won or Lost from the popup. Is there any way to hide Won; Lost and Partially Won states from Status bar?

Trying to connect to IFS Cloud 25r2 environment using IFS Report Designer v200.3.0003Initially received a missing Client error.On checking IAM Clients, noticed that IFS_report_designer was missing.Added IFS_report_designer as per techdoc - Setup IAM Client for IFS Report Designer Unfortunately, when trying to connect using IFS Report Designer I now received the Invalid parameter: redirect_uri   Any advice much appreciated.

Within the Workflow Configuration the fuction of “Mandatory” for Attachments seems to be not working.Expected results is when a workflow has select of “Mandatory” for attachments the Request should not be allowed to finish without an attachment.  

 Hi all,Within the Edit Address work task, I’m able to define a task end location.We are using manual allocation.However, it’s not clear to me how this end‑location information is passed to MWO or the Dispatch Console (given that we’re not using PSO). Specifically, I’m trying to understand how the technician is informed not only of the initial task location, but also of the final destination.Essentially, it works like defining a route segment with a start and end point, but without using a linear asset.Could someone please provide some guidance on how this is intended to work?Thank you
