Is there a standard procedure or recommended way to add a picture (or other attachments, like maintenance instructions) to multiple functional objects based on a specific field, such as Type Designation or Object Type?What I would like to achieve is; I upload media to a specific type designation →  it would automatically show on all functional objects of that type determined, or do I need to attach the media items one by one to objects?Any suggestions or best practices for mass attaching files or automating this process are appreciated. BR, Ville

Hello, Our GL is not updating automatically.  When checking the GL Voucher Rows Analysis, I see that we are missing dates. But when a user performs a manual ‘Update GL Voucher’, it then populates the the GL Voucher Rows Analysis with the previous dates that were missing right after the manual update date.  For example, were missing 3/20, 3/21 GL data in GL Voucher Rows Analysis. When performing a manual GL update on 3/22, it will then show the data for 3/20,3/21 in GL Voucher.  How can I have the GL update automatically?  We have a task scheduler that is suppose to update the GL automatically, but it is not doing its job. Why did it stop updating the GL automatically? Is it due to the accounting year not being updated to 2023? Or the USER ID not being updated to recent accounting users?  Thank you for the help!   

Hi,  (IFS Cloud - 24R2) I have a Sales Contract Item that’s linked to a Project Activity. I want the Revenue from this line to appear on my Project Activity as Planned Revenue. I can see the below from the Help Pages - my question is which posting control linked to this set up? The help page is not too helpful at specifying.

Dear Community,  We are using MHS invoices between our entities in the last 5 years, without any major issue un our IFS Apps10 UPD 21 version. But it looks the messages stuck in Released status form 15th of October. Unfortunately the RMB functions are not available, and not sure what is the reason. I found this community thread, but that did not help to our issue: Why are outbox messages stuck in Released Status ? | IFS Community We didn’t change anything in the settings:    Do you have any idea how we can restart the process of Connectivity Outbox Messages?  Thank you very much in advance for any idea. Kind regards, Balazs

Hi All,Can we get list of parts picked in a shop order picklists. My customer is using pick by choice so ideally serials or lot batches in the pick list might be changed when picked.  Customer is using wadaco for picking. They expect to generate a printout on what picked. Is there any way that I can get what got picked for the shop order.for customer order pick lists we have a separate window “Picked pick lists” but nothing available for shop orders.Any ideas on how to get this please. Thanks,Chamath

If "IAM Session and Tokens Configuration" "Sessions" and "Session Idle" of IFSCloud are changed to "62Minutes" and "Session Max" to "64Minutes"  logging in from 1, "Session Idle" is "62Minutes" and "Session Max" is "64Minutes" for logging in from 1, but they are not relevant for logging in from 2. Hello, I created a custom event that triggers on add, update, and delete. This custom event calls a workflow, and when creating a new work task, I get this error. I no longer get an error if I modify the event to trigger only on creation, but having both creation and update enabled at the same time causes issues.

Hi everybody,in IFS10 we have scheduled task to calculate purchase costs (latest purchase cost).   How to set it up in IFS Cloud?I tried to set it up, but I don’t know the syntax for ATTRIB_ parameter in IFSCloud. When I copy the argument from background job (when you run it manually), it doesn’t work. I am aware of other ticket saying it is not possible even in APPS10, but it definitely works, so I just want to double check. Thansk a lot.Jan

HelloThis is in 24.2.5Looking to create a very simple custom field on the Manual Reservations For Shop Order Material Line Details tab. I'm wanting to add Unit Cost from Inventory Part In Stock where lot/batch's match.The entity on this page is ShopMaterialAllocSinglUtil, but that doesn't exist in the entity configurations. We have a scenario where we would like to add a service automatically to a service order if the SA adds a specific product. Doing thsi with Problem Code backoffice works fine for PMs and UMs, but sometimes a customer may request a product that is not originally on the order. The SA will then have to add both a product and a service, but we would like this to be added automatically (to avoid potential loss of revenue).

Hello,We are setting up the product estimator and noticed that when an existing part is added, or a new part created, it is not possible to add by-product information in the estimate/estimate item. If a new part is created in the estimator, and an existing part product structure is copied into it, the information also does not seem to port over.Does anyone know if this is a limitation?

After terminating and subsequently rehiring an employee, users encounter the error “Employee is not valid” when attempting to report time transactions. Additionally, the employee does not appear as an available option under the Assignee field in work tasks.What could be causing this issue? Could you please advise?

Hello wonderful IFS Community!I had a question come up that I wasn’t able to answer - Where is the folder structure for the IFS Cloud middletier stored at on the Ubuntu server? I poked around the /home/ifs directory, but nothing really seemed to be stored there except for some configuration files. I also looked under /etc, but didn’t find anything that was what I was searching for.Many thanks, and feel free to respond with any clarifying questions, should they be needed.Regards,Randy

Users now have to toggle on the “Send Email” toggle when emailing a PO.This wasn't the case in 23R1, but in 23R2, they have to do this, and do it for every PO. This has caused the team to miss/forget to toggle it.Can this be enabled to be on by default? 

My company uses team structure, and currently has Priority to Team and Supervisor Setup and access is based on Team and Supervisor Setup, I would like the HR team members to access all employees and be able to approve and authorize employee time,  I can add their records as indirect supervisor under Supervisor section of Employee file and give access but there are around 1000 employees, Is there are any other ways to do it easily?

  Hello,I need some help, we have set up the % tolerance for invoicing which works very well for non-stocked items, but I can't get it to work for Inventory part? Is this the reason for a stored item in the PUMP? Is it necessary to make additional settings or not? Thank you for your help.
