I have a question regarding an electronic Kanban circuit. Is it possible to directly deduct the inventory to a cost center once the transport task has been executed, instead of transferring it to a location? This is to prevent incorrect stock levels on the shop floor, particularly for small packaging materials and fasteners. I would like to add the cost of these materials to the product cost by applying a surcharge.

Hi,We are migrating from version 9 to Cloud (22.1.5) and I am having trouble with an import of Currency rate. In version 9 we generate rate files into a directory on the server and IFS task go take this file and import currency rate.In Cloud version, I cannot see my directory on my server. Need assistance on Advanced Searches on List Views within Aurena. See image below. What am I doing wrong?  As you can see from search I am trying to see only certain stage values, but results are bringining in all. Please advise correct query. (ProcessId = 'UNI_SALES_PROCESS') AND (StageId ne '100' OR  StageId ne '90') Also, what language is this? Is there documentation?  

Hi together,we are currently in an Upgrade Project to 22R2 and we want to migrate Notes.We found the topic Job migration of Business Opportunity - Note issue | IFS Community but when we enter the method BUSINESS_OPPORTUNITY_API.Write_Note_ in the Method List of the Mig Job we get the following error. So we checked the API in PL/SQL Developer and saw that the datatype for rowid_ is ROWID. This seems wrong.Does anybody have the same issue? Do you know how to fix that error?Thanks in Advance for any help!Best regards,Andreas

Hello, I have noticed that with a defined discrete UoM on a part, you are still able to report and receive into inventory a fraction of a part. I do not understand how this would be possible. Would setting it to a discrete UoM not force you to report whole numbers?Calc Qty Rounding is also set at 0 on the Inventory Part record. Any guidance on understanding how this issue is occurring would be appreciated. Thank you!   

Hi,Could someone please clarify the usage of the “Auto Replace to Alternate upon Reservation” toggle in the Inventory Part?I have enabled this option and confirmed that it is reflected in the Alternate Component. However, after creating Shop Orders and testing multiple scenarios, I’m unable to observe any behavioral difference when the toggle is enabled versus disabled.Could you please explain in which scenarios this option takes effect, or let me know if there are any specific prerequisites or conditions to be met for it to work as expected?Thank You. 

I have encountered an issue while working with a customer .  The Oracle version is 19C (19.15.0.0.0) on Linux.The Oracle version is 19C (19.15.0.0.0) on Linux, and I have deployed a delivery with IFS Cloud  22.1.6 on top of 22.1.5.There was an issue during the deployment of the database objects due to the Oracle parameter job_queue_processes being set to 0 in the container database, while the value was set to 16 in the pluggable database. This caused the deployment to stall, and I had to terminate the database session.The job_queue_processes value was set to 16 in the container and pluggable databases and the deployment resumed.After completion of the Middle tier deployment, I started Aurena and logged in as IFSADMIN to reset the password for the application owner.These are the error messages showing in the Aurena client. The boxes with the error messages disappeared and the following message is shown:The error message details is shown when pressing the Report button: Url (parameters i

Hi, Is there a way of running the “calculate MS level 1” in a smart way. We have multiple sites and we are distrubuting slaes parts betwen them all. To get the drive thrue the system now i need to run them all two times. Sie 1 Site 2 Site 3 Site 4 and then again Site 1 Site 2 etc So All sites has shared Theres needs to each other. We hare sending parts from site 1 to site 2 and 3 and we are sending parts from site 2 to 1 etc. Is this the right way or?   (I posted the same question in bying as well, no respons there)   Br Jerker

I have a Manufactured Inventory Part in Project Deliverables and have the Max Lot Size set to 1.  Within PD, the Material Plan shows that I have only 1 shop order.  If I have Max Lot Size set to 1, shouldn’t I have multiple shop orders?Am I doing something wrong?Patrick

Hello, I have run into an issue with a hung POR in an Authorized (not closed state). Unfortunately, I was made aware too late and the project and activity have been closed for a long time. At this point, I am unable to cancel the POR, or disconnect the POR from the project. I’m looking for some way to resolve this, but I have found nothing. Hoping someone has seen this before and can provide some  guidance. Thank you!

Hello everyone,We have a customer using PSO Standalone (Version 6.16.) who requires that short-term absences are immediately visible in the system. When a resource reports sick and this is entered in PSO under unavailabilities, the absence does not appear in the Gantt chart until after an import (load file). This is problematic for short-notice absences.Is there any way to make absences visible immediately?Thank you!

When a template structure that has been transferred to manufacturing more than once contains a module where a piece part is added and activated at the module level, why is the piece part not included in the CAMRO service contract structure tree? Steps followed:Create two new parts configured as manufacturing parts, engineering parts, and serial-tracked parts. Using the Add Structure Position command, add a structure position to a template structure that has already been transferred to manufacturing (same site) more than once. Add a module in Preliminary state, then add a piece part beneath the module, also in Preliminary state. Activate the module line, which also activates the underlying child part. The transfer to manufacturing for these parts is performed automatically. Verify the CAMRO service contract and observe that the child part is not included in the service contract structure tree.

Why does the Alternate Module not contain the same Position Parts as the Prime Module, given that it was not created as a separate template? Should it not inherit the Position Parts from the Prime Module in this case?

We are in the beginning stages of a migration from an AS400 ERP to IFS Cloud. I’m an enterprise software engineer who is new to the IFS world.Our current warehouse shipping process involves a piece of custom software that screen-scrapes from an AS400 terminal session into a Windows application called ClipperShip. This software handles all the carrier specific logic, including printing labels, etc., then another piece of custom software gets the data out of ClipperShip and back into the AS400 ERP.We would like our new solution to be as simple as possible for warehouse employees. Ideally it would be completely web-client based. We have started evaluating some API-based shipping solutions like ProShip and ShipEngine. HI All,In the latest cloud release IFS released us to use “Packaging Material Parts to Handling Unit Accessories”. I have configured the settings and I am seeing an odd behaviour. I am not sure this is due to set up mine. Any help would be highly appreciated. Below is my set up. I am maintaining my packing material in IFS as an inventory part.Inventory Part - P-100-1Packing Form (Packing material) - 1-00212 I am using below packing Instruction and I have defined Handling Unit Accessory and connected my packing material to that. Below is my packing Ins. Hello, Over the past few months, I have created several custom events and their action events on an IFS CLOUD environment.I use the background job system very regularly.I have a problem with how IFS works that I find perplexing.When creating an invoice on a billing plan:I arrive at a page where I am going to validate my action:On the next page, I see my line in error, containing part of the event action code in the error block : My problem is as follows:- this is not the standard behavior for executing an event action- functional code becomes invalid- if i try a RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR(), it's displayed not in the validation window to block the progress but in the error message on the last page.How can I ensure that the event action is executed normally on this page?Is there a specific setting for this?Should the event action be launched somewhere other than on the Invoice entity and the INVOICE_TAB table? Best regards, Barth

In 25r1 we now have a delivered mailchimp integration from Marketing Campaigns.  I can’t quite see how to turn it on.  There is a system/template BPA called CrmMailchimpIntegration.  And there is a button on the Marketing Campaign Action to create an external campaign (but the button is inactive).  I believe that the BPA needs to be deployed to activate the button, but the BPA cannot be deployed because it’s a template.  If you copy the BPA to another ID, you can deploy it, but then the button would not know to call that BPA ID?What am i missing…?
