When you have transaction code external on an invoice, the cost does not come through, works fine with transaction code MANUAL and M93. Is there a basic data setup that is missing?

 During year-end setup, a voucher series was created for all voucher types, following previous practice.However, voucher type PV (Payment Voucher) was unintentionally made available for Supplier Invoice posting (User Group AC).Result: Invoice could be Preliminary Posted But Final Posting was blocked by IFS (control worked as designed) Invoice stuck in PaidPrelPosted state due to wrong voucher type usage Please advise me. i dont know what to do ​​​​

Dears,  I have a question. We have tried the reservation from the specific location on the shop order which is possible once the following choices are made:   However when I try to do this for configuration structure instead of the product one, the automatic reservation is not an option. Hello, A brief question regarding the 2 views mentioned “Operation Statistics” and “Labor and Operation History”. We are aiming to get the correct data from our shop floor regarding what has actually been produced during a given time period. What we experience is that “Operation Statistics” does not provide the same information as “Labor and Operation History”. Wheras the latter also requires us to manully filter out duplicates, cancelled operations etc. Operation Statistics seems to be the way to go, but I am uncertain that we use it correctly. Whereas if I want to check on yesterday’s shop floor results. I miss out on partially reported shop orders due to there is not actual finish dates. Does anyone have any tips on how to procede?My first though is that we need to “start production” and use clockings more thorughly in production. Which gives us the possiblity to filter on “actual start date” instead. We currenlty using IFS10, but in September we are implementing IFS - CloudBest Reg

Hello,I’m having an issue with a web client script. The script checks the current task_status and builds a dropdown list based on that value. If task_status = 'APPOINTMENT', the dropdown should include APPOINTMENT. If task_status ≠ 'APPOINTMENT', then APPOINTMENT should be excluded. Test 1: When I test this using my own role, the script behaves correctly. Hello Folks,I have run in to an issue (in IFS Cloud 23R1) with connecting a Project to a Sales Contract, where system returns an error indicating that this Project is already connected to a different Sales Contract. Which is true as I have already connected this Project to a Sales Contract that is sitting in ‘Cancelled’ status.Moreover, I have the “PUB(Project Unique Billing Toggle)” turned ON in the Project Setup Parameters for this Project.​​​I tried to remove the Project connection from the ‘Cancelled’ sales contract but system throws in an error preventing me from doing that.  Thereafter I toggled off the “PUB(Project Unique Billing Toggle)” since ideally that should take out any restrictions on one Project can go on one sales contract validation.  Then I created a brand new Sales Contract (3rd one, 1st once is already “Cancelled”, 2nd one “Proj. connection failed” with an error as seen on first screenshot) since I thought 2nd Sales Contract was created while I had the “PUB(Project

Hi,In previous versions of IFS, we used the Route Work Order functionality which is now not available in IFS Cloud. The business is keen to re-implement this behaviour back into IFS, however we are not sure which features/functionality effectively is the replacement for Routes in IFS Cloud.Currently we are using IFS Cloud 24R2, and plan to move to 25R2 later this year. Any guidance or pointers to other community articles and documentation would be appreciated. ThanksShaun

Hello,I would like to use a method that shortens the data migration process by adding a button to the page, which opens an assistant allowing the upload of an Excel file.When this button is clicked, an assistant is launched that allows users to upload an Excel file in .csv format. The data rows from the file are then transferred directly into the corresponding rows in IFS. Could you please advise how such a migration functionality can be implemented or added to a page?Kind regards,

I have inventory parts where I don’t want to receive MRP planned demand, I want the demand to only be created by the upper level. The problem with next level demand planning is that it doesn’t generate purchase requisitions. Is it possible to set the planning method or manufacturing structure to support this, or am I better off deleting forecast for said parts?

Hello IFS Community, im fairly new at using the Page Designer, i got this control added into this screen where the idea is to select a part number, if i click on the part from the list, i can select and even if i type the part number i can save it.. but when i type the part, the drop down. here below in the picture you can see what i mean… what setting am i missing in the control in page designer, so when i type the part number, it filters the list?  Thank you in Advance!  

Hi everyone, I am trying to import CONFIG_SALES_COMB_VALUES table into IFS via DMM. The table has SEQUENCE_NO column which is used to order different combination values. Records are ORDER BY SEQUENCE_NO ASC and they are imported from smallest to largest sequence.  So, I would expect to see 8 records, and they should be displayed in correct order. However, only 6 records are displayed in IFS in different orders.  Please help!

After upgrading our use place from IFS Apps 10 to IFS 25R1, we are unable to proceed further after logging into the application using the ifsadmin credentials(not able to log in from other credentials too).All pods are up and running without any problems. However, after login, we are getting an empty page.When we checked the browser network tab, all requests are returning 500 errors with an Access Error message. Please not that for all the invalid requests the response is same.(please check the images).landing page loads without issues.

Hello!Recently I’ve encountered an issue with the Lobby Element Designer. I’m trying to create a new Barchart element but started receiving “Unable to save element” errors when trying to save the new element. I’ve previously created Barchart elements, so I’m confident I have everything configured correctly in the Data and Formatting sections, but this one puzzled me enough to try duplicating an existing Barchart element. When duplicating a working element, I’m still presented with the same error when saving. This issue does not occur when working with other element types.Does anyone know if there is a cache or some configuration that needs to be reset so that I can move forward with the development?Regards,Randy

Hi,I need some advice about a problem I am dealing with.My customer mainly works with welding and coating. Their project sites are often far away from the main warehouse. Because of this, I want to keep welding and coating stock at the customer’s project sites.My idea is to create remote locations and move stock from the warehouse to these locations using shipment orders.When the remote location is in the same country, this works well because I do not need commercial invoices with values.The problem happens when the remote location is in another country. In that case, customs clearance is needed, and a commercial invoice with values is required.I am not sure how to create a proforma invoice with values when the shipment order is created directly from Inventory. I noticed that the shipment has custom value fields, but they are empty. Do I need to use event logic to fill in these values?The PO–CO process does not work here because the project location belongs to the same company. I also

Hi Community.  We are using Apps 10, UPD9 and have run into an issue with repair orders and i am hoping that someone may know of a solution.  If we use the “Create Repair Order Assistant” this process allows you to define a Serial Object, a Workshop and will set up the work tasks, material requisition and return lines required to receive a part, have it worked on in the workshop and then re-issued into the object structure.  We are looking into the functionality of using the “Turn into Repair Order” which is available on the Prepare Work Order screen.  This asks us for the repair workshop but doenst create any work tasks, materials or returns lines to facilitate the move.  This function also takes the serial object and moves it directly to the workshop (without us returning and issuing) The issue we have identified with this, is that we can now not remove those parts from the Workshop object.  We cannot issue them, return them, move them manually or place the object in facility from th

Hi All,» I have created an Application Server Task as below.  This server task was working perfectly as expected, but recently it has stopped working. Possibly because the server task has changed to ‘Finished’ state. But this is a repeating task and the state has to be in ‘Waiting’ (As I read on some other knowledge articles in the community). Can you please let me know what can be the reason for this behaviour.?My scheduled job looks like below and as you can see I have set the ‘one_time_task’ flag to FALSE.  Appreciate your inputs on this.Thank you.
