Here’s the contents of the original post to the Buying sub-forum:I’ve been tasked with hunting down why a Scheduled Database Task for process Mrp_Process_API.Schedule_Mrp_Process__ keeps ending with a status of ‘Error’. The Error Text field has a notice “This background job was set to state Error because the executing Oracle process was killed. ( Detected by cleanup process at 2025-01-08-23.49.11 )”. I’ve checked out a few other Community posts noting that the Light Cleanup process may be responsible, but the Light Cleanup job was posted / started executing 2 seconds after the time reported in the MRP background job. Hi, We’ve just doscovered that whenever there is a customization in a module, an error occures if you try to access it from “My Favorites”.At least from ALLIANCE V15.4 SU13. I’ve been able to reproduce it in the QAC environment, for Service Order Any tips ? Should I log a ticket ?Thank you 

Is it possible for end users to view a report created in Business Reporter from Order Report without having to install the BR add-on? The users already have the correct permissions, but when they try to export from Order Report, the report appears in blank and does not load any information, even in the PDF document.The report was saved with the “disconnect” option and the “generate PDF” option selected.Thank you!

Hello All, I needed a little guidance regarding changing the Employee ID of an Employee in Company/Employees.While trying to edit the details, it is showing error of “Resource is being used in Connection”, I also tried tried to delete the Site under Resource Details/Resource Connection but while deleting company it is not allowing me to(maybe because of existing transactions as he’s an active employee). Is there any way to edit the employee id which retains his work history too.  Thanks in advance. Regards,Mani

Hi All, I experience that Selection Rules for Service Delivery Unit is not working in 25R2.I have set three selection rules for the service TK-AZN as below. Objective is getting a different delivery unit as per different regions. But when I creating a service, the default delivery unit for the service organization is always fetched even if I use different regions.As I remeber these rules worked fine before.Are there any workarounds other than setting selection rule to fetch the correct delivery unit? Or is it same for others?TIA:

Hello IFS Community,I have a rental order that has been delivered. I created a draft invoice, which I then canceled.I wanted to change an amount on one of the lines of my order, but I can’t do it. So I tried to cancel the line and/or the order, but since rental transactions have been created, I can’t cancel anything.Right now I’m stuck; I can’t invoice this order, cancel it, or change the amount. Hi,I would like to call a IFS Rest Api for an interface in Aurena Apps10UPD19.It should be a connection with OAuth 2.0 authentication using client_id and client_secret. I was able to set up Postman to get the tokenBut when I do the call it always returns Error 401I can also retreive the token like that:If I try with to connect using basic Auth it works without any problem.Has someone a solution to do this call in OAuth2 with Postman or any other tool.Thank youFabrice

I’ve created a User Interaction workflow that triggers after adding or editing an expense detail line. It will ask the user for an input and updates a custom field on that line. As a user, I get a client error yet the workflow is triggered successfully but as IFSAPP, I don’t. I thought it was a permission issue but my user has full access to all the projections used in the workflow. If I’m logged into IFSAPP and add/edit an expense detail line:The workflow is triggered and asks for a value to update the custom field. The custom field gets updated. No error.If I’m logged in as a user and add/edit an expense detail line:The workflow is triggered and asks for a value to update a custom field. I receive a Client error. I refresh the page and the custom field has been updated.I’ve watched the workflow and captured the payload that received the Client error to use for debugging. Hi All, Is it possible to grant/revoke permission by page in Aurena?When we grant a projection to a permission set, lots of pages connected to the projection is available in the navigator. Example scenario:I just want to enable Quick AbsenceIn Aurena go toSolution Manager > Security > Permission Sets > Permission Set > Projections and Lobby Pages → Manage By Navigatorchoose Quick Absence from navigator, Edit projection access for selected pages. In the Manage Projection Grants page, only the projection can be granted. I need to remove the other pages granted along with this but seems it’s not possible. Is there another way to handle this than hiding from navigator?  Cheers!Damith

Issue:  Customer order exists with a customer order line containing Customer Owned material.  We need to charge the customer for a repair cost on this material, but due to the part being listed as “Customer Owned”, we are unable to do so. Is this a situation that any of you have faced, and if so, what types of solutions might there be for this type of scenario?

After an update last November some of our users get an error message when trying to register absence, saying “cannot register absence as there is not enough space in the schedule”. Even though there is sufficient hours left in the schedule.Other employees on the same schedule are able register same absence without an error message.Any experiences or idea on this? Or is it a bug?

Hello all, We have set up a Reorder Point Kanban circuit for a manufactured part in IFS Cloud.The Kanban size is equal to the MIn-Max Lot Size defined in the Inventory Part Planning Data. However, when shop orders are created from Kanban and the demand at Kanban start-up exceeds one Kanban, the resulting shop orders contain a quantity larger than the defined Max Lot Size. This behavior occurs specifically during the initial use of the Reorder Point Kanban.Questions:Is there a setting or configuration in IFS Cloud that ensures shop orders created from Kanban always respect the Min / Max / Multiple lot size settings from the Inventory Part Planning Data? Is it possible to have shop orders created by Kanban be created directly in status Released instead of Planned? Kind regards,  Willem

Hi All, I am trying to setup the "Enable Navigation from IFS to GIS Map" for Functional Objects but am having little joy. I have setup the button to the best of my abilities as per this document About GIS Map (ifs.com) However the instructions are not correct for NavigateFilter. I have used the tool to add the filter "LuName eq 'EquipmentFunctional', KeyRef eq $[KeyRef]" but when I click on the View Map button it opens the map but does not select or zoom to the asset. Wondering if anyone can help, or if this is not possible with Page Designer.On page Serial Object the default view is to have Position and Location set to be minimised - I’d like these to be shown but can’t see how you do this in Page Designer, any tips on how to much appreciated. 

Stage Billing - Does standard IFS Functionality exist to reverse or post the Stage Billing Invoice balance from the P&L account using posting control M28 to a define Balance Sheet account? And can this be reversed once the Stage Billing order line is delivered?

We have the export custom event option in IFS Cloud: However, I couldn’t find the option to where we can import the exported custom event (*.ins).Even though we have ACP export/import, in this scenario, we have only an export of custom event. Appreciate any insight on this.Thanks much. /Nimesh

Hi Community, Recently I installed Demand Planner on 23r2 but when I try to add the host ID and save it from the Demand Planner window it returns “Failed to notify the server”Windows Service is running.Does anyone have an idea on this?   

After receiving an OOB patch from IFS, I applied the delivered changes into our repository. However, I am currently unable to propagate these changes to the DEV environment, because IFS Developer Studio 18 (Product Version: IFS Developer Studio 18 (Build 18 2026-04-06)) appears to ignore the modified files.Observed behavior:Modified Core *.views and *.plsql files are not taken into account during generation/deployment. Even after placing the corresponding Core model files into the repository, the changed files are still ignored. The code continues to be generated according to the Core files instead of the modified repository content. In Project View, the affected files are not shown under the related entity, but only under the Other folder.Expected behavior:Files delivered in the OOB patch and applied to the repository should be recognized by Developer Studio as entity-related files. Modified *.views and *.plsql files should be considered during generation/deployment on DEV. The files
