Version 24.1.22 I saw an older post asking if there was a way to connect multiple documents to an object, which was eventually implemented as a feature.  I was curious if there was a similar feature that allowed users to connect multiple Objects, like Inventory Parts, to a Change Request. If so, was this also implemented in 24R2, or a later version?

Hi,When IFS Cloud sends an outgoing message to a 3rd party system, an Application Message is generated which contains an External Message ID identifier. This is a GUID which we believe is generated by IFS:Can someone advise me when this is created? Is it when the application message is first created? If so, can it be added to the outgoing payload either as a parameter or a header on that message?We would like to catch this ID and store it somewhere so that, should the message need to be replayed (due to a failure for example), then we have a method of finding it easily and resending it via standard IFS Connect.Thanks

Hi all,It's regarding, how to get Logged-In User Id in Workflow.I have successfully fetched the Logged-In User Id with single block workflow (Thanks ​@dsj for guiding). However, workflow returns the null value with same script when adding another block to read ApprovalRouting data. I noticed another behaviour as well. If I test workflow just after validating the BPMN for Workflow Command, sometime randomly it works. ​@dsj will appreciate your input.

Hello,  it is possible to add two types of SQL views into one report designer?For example, In default quick report it will display INVENTORY_PART view, and when I will click on button it will show RECEIPT_INFO view.

Those of you who are actively managing subcon work in IFS; have you figured out a way to control the release of PR’s upon release of a shop order? Our subcon PR’s release the moment a Shop order is created, however the subcon portion on a routing may not come up for a week or two. Is there a way to control the release/unrelease of the subcon on the operation no?  I’m guessing it might have something to do with Outside OP Supply Type, but I am not sure you can stop it by changing it. Hi all,Here the data is extracted from company1 and migrated to company2 with new project_id and activity_seq updated in the source data file to input to the migration job  (say project_id1, activity_seq1 in company1, the new data file will have project_id2, activity_seq2 for company2) I use a FNDMIG job to migrate the purchase_order_line_part  for Loram. In the first migration, I remove the project_id and activity_seq fields from source mapping. No migration errors. The row was inserted. But the project_id1 and insert it in code_c field in purchase_order_line_part. And that was wrong and it should take project_id2.Anyone has thoughts on why this is happening and how to resolve this situation?Any clue or advice is much appreciated!. Thank you!

In ifs cloud search on pages, when typing in a part number on Eng Part or Inv Part it will let users type 5 numbers and then exits the box. Is anyone else experiencing this behavior?  If so, what is the fix??Wondering if it is some kind of setting on the pages or in the search box?  I can’t find anything specific though CoPilot and Claude have some good info on the subject. :-/

Hi together,we are currently in an Upgrade Project to 22R2 and we want to migrate Notes.We found the topic Job migration of Business Opportunity - Note issue | IFS Community but when we enter the method BUSINESS_OPPORTUNITY_API.Write_Note_ in the Method List of the Mig Job we get the following error. So we checked the API in PL/SQL Developer and saw that the datatype for rowid_ is ROWID. Hi,  When using IFS Cloud 25R1, I have Shop Orders setup with documents either directly connected to operation work guidelines or transformed to them, yet when I try to create Work Instruction report, I do not get the option to “Print attached documents”.  I have checked release notes and can’t see that it has been deprecated and the help guides still say that this function is there (with no prereqs).  Is this something anybody has seen?   Also, logged in as ifsapp, so not a permissions thing.   

Our purchasing department would like to know if it is intended that the Purchase Order Lines overview screen is not editable? I’m in IT so I have access to everything and I can’t modify this screen. My reasoning I gave her that you can’t do mass changes on this (e.g. change all the dates or change the inspection criteria) is because this view PURCHASE_ORDER_LINES_ALL combines both no part order lines and part order lines views. So maybe because of this and no part order lines having different primary keys than part order lines that maybe this is why? If someone could give me a reason or tell me that this screen is editable and I’m missing something, that would be very helpful.

Hi all,When using Mass Update Shop Order Structures to update shop orders, I would like to know where I can see exactly which changes were made to the shop orders by this mass update.Is there any specific log or history that shows the old and new values for the updated material lines? These updates cannot be found in the shop order history, I can only find the manual changed materials/ routings. Also I dont see the changes records in the background job information.  Kind regards, Willem

Hi, is there anyway to stop a new manual supplier invoice going straight to paid/posted when it has 0 value? we was able to do this in apps 9 but now cloud uses the new manual supplier invoice wizard im unsure how to get around this. Thanks  

Hello IFS Community, hope somebody has an answer for this, i’ve been searching with no solution just yet, i got the Media Objected connected to my Activity Scope and Schedule page, but when i try to go in it, as soon as i click the “Media” tab under the attachments, i get the “No Access” Message below, i added a few Media related projections i got it to where i can upload media items, but everytime i click the “Media” tab, i get the message below. i added the “MEDIA_LIBRARY” Permission set added and i algo added the “MediaHandling” projection, along with a few other related. what permission am i missing here? im in 24R2. thank you in advance for all your help!  

Hello everybody! When using the Time Registration window in IFS Cloud, it is possible to create project activity shortcuts and assign a Shortcut Name, which is then displayed on the screen.We have noticed that the Shortcut Name can be defined when the shortcut is created, but it cannot be changed afterwards. The only available options seem to be deleting and recreating the shortcut.​@IFS RD Product Management What is the intended or recommended use of the Shortcut Name field? Is it by design that the name cannot be edited after creation? Hello all, I’ve been testing the Skip Lot on Purchasing Control Plans, and it does appear to be working, but the help is unclear about how some of the setup is applied and what the registration of some results means. I have entered three Purchase Orders of 100 each and I’m attempting to test the Attribute Skip Lot. I believe I have it setup as I’ve been attempting to enter nonconformitites and the sample qty has gone from 13 to 20 on the third PO. However, I’m unsure on the analysis result what the two mandatory fields are actually asking for. The help isn’t clear. I have the following acceptance sampling setup on the Purch Control Plan and Trigger:On the SFPP, I have not configured anything for Inspection Info, I’m assuming this is not needed:Any guidance on if my current setup is correct, or the proper way to interpret the Skip Lot setup would be greatly appreciated. 

Our company recently upgraded from Apps 10 to Cloud, and in Apps 10 we had a custom LU called Ecommerce which was added as a custom tab on the Part page. When trying to add this custom tab in Cloud, the data is populating but I can not edit any data in the custom tab. I’m getting the following error:“Client Warnings are not supported for CREATE, UPDATE, DELETE operations in [Ecommerce] entity. So 'X-IFS-Accept-Warnings' request header cannot be set to 'true'.”Is there a way to enable client warnings for this entity, or another way to get around this error message?
