Hello All,I want to block buyer from buyer screen it is not possible as buyer is already used in creation of Purchase order.We have option ‘Hide’ but we need another solutionIs their any other solution to block the buyer ?? Regards

How do I create a BPA in 23r1 that pops up an informative window when a new Business Opportunity is created?

We are having an issue with Intersite orders in Apps 10. The purchase orders are not automatically being sent to the 2nd site. We have to go into the PO, RMB and click send. I’m sure this means we are missing a setting somewhere.   Any ideas on how to resolve this?   Thanks, Mike

Hi AllEven when non-numeric values are entered into a Number-type parameter for an add-on report, it can still be executed without resulting in an error.(In APP9, an error would occur due to the standard functionality.)For IFS Cloud, there is no error.For APP9, there is an error.Q1, In the Cloud version, is it expected behavior that entering non-numeric characters into a Number-type parameter during Order Report input does not trigger an error?Q2, Is it possible to cause an error for incorrect data type input without adding custom validation in the add-on?Thanks ＆Best regards,Feng

In the external file template for voucher file, it is not possible to import Currency Rate. The field is not available. Currency Rate type is available, but not the rate.If we import a voucher with foreign and local amounts, the exchange rate will be retrieve from the system. However, it will not match the transactions. In the example below, both the currency and local amount have been imported.100 EUR and 1100 SEK is imported on each line - Exchange rate 11,5135 was retrieved by the system - it should have been 11,0000 when you look at the transactions.Is something missing which need to be added so the exchange rate can be imported? Can we get IFS to automatically calculate the correct exchange rate, in case both amounts are supplied?Using cloud 23.1.6

I created a mapping to mass import serial objects with an Excel file, I managed to get all the desired fields working except for a "Belongs to Object ID" and I don't understand why this field doesn't start working. update when I insert a new serial object. I modified the "Flags" several times but it didn't change anything. *I specify that this field contains a list of objects already existing in the database Thank’s  

Hi Everyone, I have configured the SCIM Provisioning for IFS Cloud with AzureAD. When the Users are provisioned, the ‘Identity’ attribute is created using a combination of name.givenName and name.familyName (as mentioned in the Technical Documentation). Is there a way to override this default behaviour and set a custom value?  Is there a SCIM attribute for this we could use to map a custom value to? Appreciate any information on this. Best Regards,Devin Amarasekara

Hi All,I have created a new custom component(module) in the Customer Solution Repository.My plan is to commit all ACPs and also new MODs not related to Core components keep in this new custom component(module) and then deliver to Use Place environments via deliveries.I have not seen any issues with this approach in previous Cloud versions as well (Say 22R1).Does IFS have any formal recoomandations/any known issues in using a custom component(module) in 24R1 or we can continue on the same process we had earlier as well.

Hello,We are doing an Upgrade for a Customer who is upgrading from Apps10 to IFS Cloud 24R1 (have plans to get 24R2 or 25R1 in future). This is a remote customer who uses a lot of documents.In their current Apps10 system, they have these documents in FTP Repository & database.With the news of FTP getting obsoleted in IFS Cloud 24R1, we decided to implement File Storage for this customer. We have below two questions regarding this situation,We assumed FTP will be fully obsoleted by 24R1 but I can see FTP as an option in this customer’s new 24R1 system. Was this plan to obsolete got changed or postponed to later versions?If FTP is indeed obsoleted and this customer needs to move their documents in FTP to FSS, what would be better/efficient way IFS can suggest? They already went through the FSMig tool’s documentation and have some concerns on the efficiency and support for that tool for FTP. Do we have another tested method in which this customer can benefit from? There is around 5TB

Hi Not sure where else to post this, I have a client that not only wants to change a tab name(which they have done) but then change wherever the same appears in the rest of the database - just wondering how to achieve this? this is the tab and therefore the data that needs to be changed database wide. ThanksRachel 

Hi,I would like to call a IFS Rest Api for an interface in Aurena Apps10UPD19.It should be a connection with OAuth 2.0 authentication using client_id and client_secret. I was able to set up Postman to get the tokenBut when I do the call it always returns Error 401I can also retreive the token like that:If I try with to connect using basic Auth it works without any problem.Has someone a solution to do this call in OAuth2 with Postman or any other tool.Thank youFabrice

Hello Community, I want to send a report output from the physical printer I defined to the server.I defined a logical printer.I also added it to the print job process (I don't know if I needed to do that)When printing from our barcode report, I select the physical printer that I have specifically defined. A print job is created in the queue. An application message is created. The print operation is successful. The screenshots are hidden in the texts. Also, "Processing Print Jobs" is in suspended status and I cannot publish it. It gives the error in the attachment. I searched in the community but could not find it. What is the solution for this? How do I do it? Best regardsBarış

In Inventory Part in Stock, One of the Serial Part is showing as Reserved (Reserved Qty: 1) with Ownership as Company Rental Asset. How I can un-reserve the part to make it  Available to use on other projects?

We would like to use Item Styles to highlight a custom Global Code list where we hold SLA types.Following the guide below this all works fine.Is it possible to colour code based on the request status? | IFS CommunityExample below. The one exception is the PRODUCTLOOKUP screen where the Item Styles are not displayed.  It would be desirable to have the item styles displaying on the above screen. Is there any config that could be done to activate this?

Hello,We are in the middle of our implementation of IFS Cloud. We are currently on 24R1.How have other companies handled Vertex in their testing environments?  Our testing environment has the same Company ID as production (since we clone prod into testing), How can we make sure our invoices in the testing environment don't flow through to Vertex to the main Company ID with all our real invoices?Thanks,Nate

Hi. I'm currently using IFS8. We have direct debit with multiple suppliers and all transactions are posted as SUPOA for payment. Invoices posted as SI. Is there anyways to set for auto matching for SUPOA and SI accordingly ? Means amount same and invoice no same then auto matching can be executed. Volume is about 1k monthly.Thank you.

Hello! I am trying to process an External customer payment in IFS Cloud, where the Invoice ID/Invoice Reference is not provided in the External Payment File. No matter which setup I use in the External Payment parameters, the system is not able to identify the Customer ID and create a Customer Payment on Account. It always creates a Parked Payment. Below is the Identifier setup for the used ‘External Customer Payment Parameters” The below is the External Payment file template I used, created from the MT940 system template. And finally, below is the sample file I created using the above external file template: Once this file loaded, the payment line (which does not have an Invoice reference) is always identified as a parked payment (Although I pass the customer ID ~ to be mapped to the field “IDENTITY_CODE” in the external file template)Could you kindly explain to me how the data setup should be done in order for IFS to identify Customer Payment on Accounts, and are there any specific c
