Hello all,

My customers use a lot of sharepoint for photos of items, invoices, etc... They would like to be able to add a URL link to these various objects.

Is it possible to insert a URL link on an object (without having to create a URL file)?

Wishing you a great day

Mike's answer aside, you don't need to create the URL file manually, it can be done using a custom event + event action. That is, if you want to keep it under Attachments / Documents.

Hi @ksebf,

Yes, you can create a custom field of the type ‘Link’. Then copy the URL path on the respective IFS Cloud page and when you click on this text it opens the corresponding link.

Thanks for your two interesting answers. Very interesting your custum event + event action ?

Do you have an example of that ?

I don't, so you have a little experimentation to do on your side 🙂 It should not be hard for a somewhat technical consultant or SE.
