We have automation to create part numbers based on templates. I’m creating new parts based on the template setup and receiving this error “Error in SetManufactureStructureStatus- Item_num:4712032 Error:ORA-20110: ProdStructAlternate.NO_COMP: An Alternative without Components cannot be promoted to Buildable.” I’ve looked to see where I can add components to the alternative but can’t see where there even is an alternative. Has anybody seen this before?

We have a situation where we have imported (and activated) a set of contracts/contracts lines. One of the lines is for a product that should not have been on the contracts - so we now need to either cancel these lines or - second best - set the value to 0. I can’t an import to do this - is it possible to do thsi kind of change through an import or with a SQL script?

This means can IFS CLOUD send out an E-invoice with an embedded PDF document? is there in IFS a transformer available?

Hi,I added a custom attribute in the SrvRequest but I cannot it see it in the Page (SrvRequestVirtual, because is the page Assistant), therefore I created a group in the page to enter the value. When the Service Request is created the value entered before is not there (please see screenshot below). Am I doing something wrong?

Hello All,I'm looking for some guidance on token authentication to/from PSO from a third party application.Referring to the SchedulingSchema.pdf I know that the load file needs to be constructed to contain a <Broadcast> block with a <broadcast_type_id> of 'REST'.The load file will also need <Broadcast_Parameters> containing 'auth_token_url', 'username' and 'password'.  From my understanding, when these entries are in the load file, when the load file is received and processed the Broadcast Manager will use the mentioned credentials to authenticate using client credentials flow.This is where I am looking for further clarification.Does PSO store the received token in the PSO database?If PSO does store the token in the PSO database, do the subsequent DSE Broadcasts contain the token in each broadcast message?  If the token is NOT contained in the DSE Broadcast messages can PSO be configured to add the token to ALL DSE Broadcasts?Any and all information and assistance wil

HiIn some customer process, you can make a swap and keep the bad part in your van.Is-it possible for a technician to see this part in Bad status in you inventory ?Could we have a MOE to manage : Bad and Good display in mobile edge ?This feature could avoid “to forget” a part in your inventory because it’s not displayed in a screen.Thanks and Regards

HiWe need to pass a value (Eg: Customer's PO No) into ‘Payment Reference’ field in the customer invoice. Checking the possibility of using ‘Cust Inv Creation Method’ for this purpose. Do you have description on each method available in company basic data. Cust Inv Creation Method:Use this list to specify the method to be used when creating a payment reference number. The reference number will be printed on instant invoices, interest invoices, customer order invoices and project invoices. The payment reference number will be used when matching incoming payments with open invoices.

Hi, I created a partially replicable IAL object.For some time later a problem occurred. There were duplicate rows. Then we understand there is a problem with the IAL. While setting partially replicable IAL. The app threw information about duplicate rows. I didn’t care about it before. Now I need to set the primary key for this IAL.The IAL includes only the INVENTORY_PART_IN_STOCK view. And for this table (INVENTORY_PART_IN_STOCK_TAB) primary key is “PART_NO, CONTRACT, CONFIGURATION_ID, LOCATION_NO, LOT_BATCH_NO, SERIAL_NO, ENG_CHG_LEVEL, WAIV_DEV_REJ_NO, ACTIVITY_SEQ, HANDLING_UNIT_ID”. How can I set the primary key for the IAL object?

I have a requirement to translate the "Complete" command for WT in the My Work Tile (MWO) app.In the translatable text, I only see the following two paths for "Complete Prog Text" under the path %ServiceEng%. However, it seems like these paths are not related to the "Complete" button for WT in My Work Tile. Does anyone know how to add a new path, or if I am mistaken, how to translate the "Complete" button for a WT in My Work Tile to any other language? adding language translation to below two paths did not translate the Complete command

We have shop orders in process that will be completed but cannot ship until quality approves shipping. Inventory is lot tracked. We cannot put availability control on the lot because the shop order is still in process. What is the best practice to prevent a shop order from shipping when it is completed? Can availability control be setup ahead of time so that when the shop order is received into inventory, there is a control on it?  Regards,Eric

I have a few situations where a serial number is hung up because an error was made in receiving an item that had a repair order tied to it. Can you help me understand how to correct or if this will need to be corrected through a script?Item is being returned from field on a service order Repair Order auto-generated through the service order Shipped from field technician, received as Wrong Shipment (this is the error) Item is returned to either technician’s inventory or back to store (we have it both ways) Repair Order remains in a state of Received in Another WarehouseWe cannot update the serial or location of the item because it is tied to a repair order, but we can also cannot close out the repair order because we can no longer ship/receive that item. Hi All,We have noticed that setting a default value using a BPE workflow to a field that gets its values from a fixed database enumeration, is not possible as it gives an error.  Ex: Automatic Payment Authorization field in Supplier → Invoice → General tab.  We have already tried the solution from the post Set default value for a list using BPA | IFS Community but we still keep getting this error.  Is this a bug in the standard application or are we missing something? Help! TIA

We need to export orders in order to manipulate Problem Codes - if we export from Service Orders we get the Request ID, but not the whole Service Order ID (including @@1). Will I have to pull this out from the database, or is there some way for the end users to get this “as-is”?

Hello! I am trying to figure out how the PO Line matching works and my scenario is as follows:Supplier Master - PO Matching is set to PO Line, and the Validation is set to PO Reference and Receipt Reference. The PO has 10 Inventory part lines, and all 10 are received via ‘Receipt’, and ‘Receipt’ is in the ‘Received’ Status. Assume that the first PO Line is for 110 quantities, unit priced at $0.98 = $107.86 I receive an Invoice from the Supplier, which has only one Invoice line, accounting for $107.86.  This invoice is loaded into IFS (Apps 10) as an external invoice file, and the file is also processed successfully. However, no matching is conducted at the Posting Proposal. I even changed the Supplier’s PO matching level to PO Header and PO Receipt, which simply matches all 10-part lines received, which is not what I expected. I would want only the Invoice line to match against the specific PO Line received.I kindly request your assistance and guidance in resolving this issue and under

We are currently using IFS Apps 10. When MRP generates a Purchase Requisition for a demand (whether for a customer order or a shop order), we've noticed that the origin information is not included in the Purchase Requisition.According to our understanding, the "Ordered For" field in the Purchase Requisition should display the customer order number or shop order number as its origin. However, this field is consistently blank. Could you please advise if there is a setting or configuration that needs to be adjusted to ensure the origin details are added to the Purchase Requisition?Attached below is a screenshot of the Purchase Requisition triggered by MRP for a customer order for reference.  Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter.

Hello IFS Community,I have a question about the site MRP run. We’re experiencing an issue where, if an MRP run fails, it doesn’t provide clear information about which data might be missing—for instance, if a part doesn’t have a BOM assigned, etc. How do you handle this?
