Timeclock attempt to Clock in- throws an error message: "Access Denied. You cannot modify data of the employee XXX within Time Pers Diary logical unit". "

We are running IFSAPPS9 and have deployed “work center-defined” timeclock terminals on the floor. We use only one time clock type and all employees that use it have the Timeclock User checkbox checked within Employment/General tab. All work center users have been granted the same permission sets. This doesn’t happen with all employees. Please refer to the error message attached for an employee that clicked the Clock In button on the terminal. All timeclock employees also have the REG_NO_AUTH Role Id. Is this a user profile issue or access issue?

Tab missing after applying IFS update

We are currently using 22R1, but after applying the 22R2 update we lose the Job Rate Management tab from the Active Work Order screen. I’m not sure if this is something specific to JRM or if other people have encountered anything similar with other tabs when applying updates.If we try to work around the issue by manually adding the JRM tab to the screen using Page Designer, we can see that the 2 content items that need to be included in the tab (JobSpecificDetail singleton and JobSpecificDetail group) are no longer available/visible in the updated version to even add.Has anyone else encountered something similar with JRM or maybe even another component/tab in the past?The update deployment logs don’t have any issues regarding this area, and no callouts for concern there either in the pre-update validation.Many thanks in advance for any thoughts or input!Nick

Adding Custom Fields from other view

We are using Apps10.I want to add a custom field to the Count per inventory part screen. When you go to add a custom field you are taken to the the Inventory part in stock custom field page. The custom field I want to add has already been created in the part in stock screen, but I am not able to show these custom fields in the count screen.I thought it would be as easy as adding the view to approval detailed views and approving it. It allows me to do this.The issue comes when I go back to custom fields and attempt to Synchronise, then the error message below is displayed. Am I missing something or doing something incorrectly? A customer asks, I would like to know whether its a possibility to use the REST API the PSO web app uses (i.e. https://host/IFSPSOWorkbench/api/ResourceScheduling/UpdateActivity)Because I am unable to see the usage for the swagger mentioned apis. So, is this a possibility?

Does anyone know if its possible to split a customer shipment ship via by CO Line?

We have very large orders that are set up to ship say freight then the customer needs a specific line shipped via air. Does anyone know how to set this up without having to move the line to a new Customer Order? We could always update the ship via each time but afraid it may get missed moving back for the remainder of the order. We are IFS Apps 10. Thanks, Donna

A beautiful good afternoon, I am currently trying to add a column from the receipt_Info view that seems to be somewhat customized. Usually I would use the “SQL Column” from the “System Info” Panel.But this one is not a regular term like “STATE” that can be used there but instead “&AO.[...]API.Decode(&AO.[...]API.[...](a list of parameters from the view)”.Can I integrate that column somehow into the information source and if so how?Best regards,Benny (Edit: typo)

Apologies for posting here – couldn’t find any other way to contact the appropriate team at Assyst! My company is interested in becoming an integration partner with IFS Assyst. We have a mutual customer who’s requested we implement an integration between our HR automation tool and Assyst, so they can trigger the automatic creation of service desk tickets. How to get dosing percentage on a shop order

Hello all,I have a question about adding dosage information to the shop order. As a lab technician, I create recipes that are being used in production. The dosage information is now stored in a separate excel file, just for the operators. I would like to add this info to the shop order. Is there a field in the inventory part or recipe structure that can be used for this data and that can be shown on the shop order?Thnx in advance.

Undefined bind variable 'i_hWndFrame'

Greetings, IFS Community. I have a report that works in IFS9 but generates this error below in IFS10. See screenshot below. It only generates when the report contains a bind variable in the SQL. If the bind variable is removed and the DISTINCT values are passed from the Business Segment, the report works correctly. See the Screenshot 2.- Fyi. In the PLSQL Developer IDE tool, the SQL works fine with bind variables using the DB for IFS 10. Keep in mind that the error happens in IFS10 not IFS9. "File format is not valid" when opening Help menu in IFS10 EE

Hello CommunityI’m getting an error File format is not valid. when just click Help on Context Pane.It seems to be my Windows installation specific, since i can’t open Help in any IFS EE app (we have 3 different environments). End of Month payment terms

I’ve set up new payment terms in IFS for 60 days from End of month. This appears to be calculating 60 days from invoice date and then pushing out to End of Month, anything dated in June is due on 31st August. Is it possible to calculate End of Month then 60 days, for example anything dated June would be due on 29th Aug (60days from 30th June)?

Duplicate Aurena Page to create a modified standard page

We are using IFS10 Aurena. Is it possible to duplicate a standard page, and then modify the new page to give us what we want to do with it? We need to keep the standard page and have a modified version of the page for all users for a different purpose. We are not able to create a custom page as if we do this the entities on it are not editable.We are not able to do this using a different context of the page as users will require the standard page and the modified standard page. Any options on how to achieve this in our version would be appreciated. ThanksDarren
