Hi everyone,I'm currently facing an issue in the ifsapp9 environment where the IFS ConnectServer1 Windows service fails to stay running after a server reboot.When attempting to start the service manually via Windows Services, I receive the following message:---------------------------Services---------------------------The IFS ConnectServer1 IFSL (E:\IFS\IFSL) service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Good morning,Recently our middletier where the prod environment works required a reboot because all services crashed. It is installed on ubuntu linux. Commands from the server mgmt, e.g. kubectl, reported no communication with kubernetes.Is it recommended to reboot the middletier periodically? If so, is there technical documentation for this?

Hi All, I am trying to setup the "Enable Navigation from IFS to GIS Map" for Functional Objects but am having little joy. I have setup the button to the best of my abilities as per this document About GIS Map (ifs.com) However the instructions are not correct for NavigateFilter. I have used the tool to add the filter "LuName eq 'EquipmentFunctional', KeyRef eq $[KeyRef]" but when I click on the View Map button it opens the map but does not select or zoom to the asset. When attempting to use standard projections instead of integration projections in Crosser I receive a 401 Unauthorized response. I can successfully make these requests in Postman with the same IAM client and credential flow.In this crosser, we were able to use their standard connector/module "IFS Observation Publisher" using the OAuth Client Credentials and associated IFS IAM client. I recreated the observation publisher module as a test, and I am able to successfully authenticate. Getting the "The Payment Per Currency Already exists"  while approving a Multi-company mixed payment, with Transaction type as “Direct Cash payment” . Eg . Mixed payment was created in Company A , with the Transaction type as “Direct Cash payment”  , in transaction TAB the Company value is Company B,   In error it also gives a negative Payment ID, recently we upgraded IFSV10 to UPD20 , the same transactions were done before UPD20 Upgrade without any issue. 

Hi all In IFS Cloud, edit all feature in multiple line selection help in various screens like bulk supplier update in PR lines, bulk quantity update in start rentals etc [shown like below]  However, I couldn't help wondering that's its not available when we want to update same location for bulk purchase receipts. Why do you think its missing? Do you think its an enhancement / idea for future versions? Thanks,Asela

Hi,We have an employee who previously left the company and was listed as an invoice posting authoriser. The employee has since returned and is now required to authorise invoices for the same company. However, he has been assigned a new employee ID and person ID, although he is using the same user ID as before.We have configured the appropriate "Valid From" and "Valid To" dates, but when the user attempts to authorise an invoice, the following error appears:The screenshot below shows the employee listed on the Invoice Posting Authoriser screen. As you can see, the same user ID is being used, but the authoriser ID is different due to the new employee and person IDs assigned upon rehire.I'm unable to delete the old authoriser record (2165) as it is linked to existing objects, which is why we’ve set a "Valid Until" date on that entry.In our test environment, I was able to change the user ID on the old record (authoriser ID 2165) to IFSAPP—as this field cannot be left blank—which then allow

Hope one of you might be able to direct me on where to configure Azure Authentication prompt instead of SSO.Currently IAM Identity Provider the configured and IFS Cloud is registered in Azure as an App for authentication.When a user goes to the landing page the following options are visible.   When the user clicks “Log In with IFS Cloud CFG” (the above highlighted) the system automatically logs in. Is there a way to enable the prompt so that user can select the Microsoft365 account to use… such as the one shown below…  

We have received a Support case from a customer who has a user that works on 8 different companies at a given time on IFS Cloud. (ie. UK Company on browser tab 1, US Company in browser tab 2, Italian Company on browser tab 3, Swedish Company on browser tab 4, and so on)They have recently upgraded from 24R1 to 24R2, and the user claims that the ability to move between different pages (within a tab) without reverting to default company is no longer available in the new version. (ie. Default Company for the user is UK Company and has Manual Supplier Invoice screen for US company on browser tab 1. When they navigate to Mixed Payment screen, the Company reverts to UK company)Generally, when you navigate to a new screen/window in IFS, the Company defaults to the global setting, and it has the same behavior in App10 too.What workaround or advice can other users of IFS share with us, in terms of navigating between different pages and how the Company selector works, so that this user could find

Hello IFS Community,I have a question regarding Report Designer. I'm trying to add a custom field to the first page of a report, but it doesn't allow me to do so. Interestingly, I can add the same custom field without issues on the repeating pages.Has anyone encountered this behavior before? Is there a way to enable or work around this to display the custom field on the first page as well?Any guidance would be appreciated.  

How do we handle Milestone based payment in Sub Contracts?

We currently have the Test Data Management feature enabled in our Build Place.We have a Dev-01 Environment up and in  “Running” status.We recently delivered a delivery into our Dev Use Place (We ordered a sanity build with a QA environment then ordered a delivery and installed it successfully).We tried to to order a Dev-02 Environment but we received this error:We ordered a QA environment and approved it as per the error message. Note - we kept Dev-01 running.We tried to order Dev-02 environment again but we received the same error.How do I resolve this error? Does this have anything to do with Dev-01 existing because it is based off of an older snapshot of our Dev Use Place?

Hi All, We have started release update 24R2 SU06. During the implementation process we got a instruction from our client to deploy with SU07 as there will be a critical security update into the 24R2 SU07.So, can we apply SU07 before completing the release update process and test it altogether? I have found IFS Cloud that when the ‘Price Freeze’ toggle is enabled in a ‘Sales Quotation’ Line the opposite setting is shown on the ‘Sales Quotation Lines’ view.If you make a change on the ‘Sales Quotation’ it makes the opposite change on the ‘Sales Quotation Lines’.I have looked in Apps9+10 and the setting on the SQ is the same as the SQ Lines…Any information / feedback would be appreciated or is this a know issue?  

Hi all,I'm trying to understand the functionality behind the ‘Normal and Collective’ setting for customer order invoicing.We’re currently exploring the use of staged billing for customer order lines but have run into challanges with customers set up for collective invoicing. One option we're considering is switching the invoice type to ‘Normal and Collective’, but I’m struggling to find clear documentation on what this setting actually does, and how it impacts the invoicing process. Hi, does anyone face issues related to long running calls slowing down IFS?It was working fine for a while but since several weeks, we start noticing some long running calls related to the Method GetCountAttachments from the package ObjectConnectionServices.We are on APP10 upd 13 and did not move our UPD for more than a year.We are on full standard and only do change on the customization layer.We only use the following modules: Finance, Project, HR, Procurement, Sales, Document Management.I do not know where to search for this method and or to what it’s related.Any help will be welcome, Thanks.

Hi Experts,I have 3 custom attributes(all are NUMBER format) in page ‘Customer’. They are LIST1,LIST2 and LIST3. The corresponding view is CUSTOMER_INFO_CFV. I want to add another custom attribute in work task page as TOT_LIST, which is also a number and should equal to sum of LIST1,LIST2 and LIST3.The corresponding view is  JT_TASK_LIGHT_UIVI know that I have to add a Read only type custom field in JtTask entity. I tried select statement, but was not successful(I can’t perform addition operation in a select statement ?) and then switched to use ‘Expression’ option and I am still not getting anywhere as I see. My sql knowledge is not that good either. As you know there are certain things you cannot change after a record is save.  For example, you cannot change an inventory part’s unit of measure after the initial setting is made. Does anyone have a comprehensive list of things like this throughout the who system???
