We can see Connectivity_sys Database Processes are in Scheduled state but when click on view Background Jobs then can’t see any Background Jobs. How can we create a job? 

In PSO, there are resources that were created a couple of years ago and given shifts but haven’t been scheduled in the rota for at least a year. Those resources are kept in PSO in case they get assigned to new areas. Unfortunately it appears that when Background Rota Generation is utilized, these non-current resources are appearing again in the Scheduling Gantt. We’ve made sure they are not in any current rota, and do not have any associated shifts. We’ve also removed their Division data. This hasn’t stopped PSO from now generating shifts for them during the background rota generation. What can be done (other than deleting the resources) to stop PSO from creating shifts for those resources and showing those resources in the scheduling gantt? Is there some way to permanently clear their long-ago shift information so PSO will stop including them in background shift generation, as well as including them in divisions that do not apply anymore? We can see the hierarchy in PSO documentation

Hello,We have just updated to IFS Cloud 24.2.5 and see that the Purchase Order > Share > Print Order >  Send Email option is now a toggle and the default is “off”.  Does anyone know how to set the default to :”on”? We’ve looked in Page Designer but have not found a way to either have it save the previous choice or set it to “on” as the default.   Thank you,Joann(4958)

We are trying to attach files in assystNET and it will not attach.  In the system parameters I have it max file upload to 50MB and this file is 11KB.  I can upload it in assystWEB but not in assystNET.  Is there an area in system parameters that I can change the upload file size? I logged the test ticket and tried to attach it with assyst Update and it gave this error:

Hi everyone,I would like to automatically import files from an SFTP server to then automatically create a external supplier invoice.I've configured a new SFTP Reader in IFS Cloud to read files from an SFTP server. After setting up the reader, I created a Routing Rule with location-based conditions for the new SFTP Reader.The files are successfully being picked up by the reader, but they aren’t being connected to the routing rule I defined. Instead, when a file is imported into the SFTP, I see two error messages under Application Messages, and I suspect it’s because the routing rule isn’t being applied. Could there be a missing step in connecting the reader with the routing rule?Any insights or troubleshooting suggestions would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance!

This ‘Repost to Other Customer and Offset’ option is available for a certain customer on CUPOA 1557. However, same option is NOT available for another customer for given CUPOA 2068 or 825. What could be the reasons? Please advise.

Hi Community,Something unusual has occurred, and I’m hoping for some insights.In the Sales Quotation > Lines section, the Price Freeze toggle is showing as OFF for each line. However, when I check the Sales Quotation Lines – Overview page, the same lines display the Price Freeze column as ON.This is happening even with a newly created Sales Quotation—without any manual changes, the overview page shows Price Freeze as enabled, while at the line level it's still OFF.Has anyone else experienced this behavior? I have requirement to create a report and invoice date which is of date data type is the parameter that needs to be given in the order report dialog which should also allow between operator. I'm trying to use report_sys.parse_parameter(column (which is date data type), parameter (which is date datatype)).its throwing me invalid relational operator error. How do we solve this.when the parameter is date data type.  Thanks in advance.

Hi Experts,We have a customer query on checking the feasibility of tracking technician location in real time (or closer to real time).From the out of the box parameters, I know that we can set the ‘LOCATION_TRACKING_INTERVAL_MIN’ parameter and get the location in about 5-minute frequency (at the latest). But the requested feature would require something more than the above setting. Is there a possibility to achieve this either from configurations or customizations? And how much of an impact it will have on the overall performance.

We are using Astea Alliance version 14 HF29.one of the user is using the 4K screen and Astea application font size get very small as well as she is not able to Zoom In/Out in Astea application.We have asked to change the screen resolution to 1920x1080 but she would like to stay on 1920x1200 only.  

Since upgrading to version 27, the IFS Data Migration Excel Add-in has been updated from version 10.14.1.0 to 10.26.1.0. While the add-in installs correctly with version 10.26.1.0, it does not function as expected within Excel. Specifically, the buttons within the add-in (e.g., Connect, Settings, Info) do not display their labels and are non-functional, despite all prerequisite software being installed. The add-in works correctly in **Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2504 Build 16.0.18730.20226)**. However, the same functionality fails in **Microsoft® Excel 2016 MSO (16.0.10415.20025) 64-bit**. Is there a known solution or workaround for this issue?

I have a custom attribute that is a Date/Time field: I am trying to pre-populate the current Date/Time in this field when a new record is created. I am familiar with the process enrichment BPA flow, and I have identified the correct projection to tie into. I am also inserting the current user that triggers the BPA in a different field, so i know my flow is working correctly. However, when I try to insert the current date/time, i receive an error.  This is my flow: The code in my “Get Current DateTime” node: var currentDate = new Date();execution.setVariable("Cf_Pcx_Datetime", currentDate);When triggered, I receive this error: I have also tried the following code and received the same error:var currentDate = new Date();var isoDate = currentDate.toISOString(); execution.setVariable("Cf_Pcx_Datetime", isoDate );I have also tried to hardcode an ISO string and supply that variable, same error. For reference, I am on 24R2.5. Hi All, I’m looking for more information with regards to the use of Object Type and Type Designations on the Serial Object. What are they used for and how exactly do they influence each other and what are some use cases for them. Situation: I entered a Type designation 0001 that I connected to Object type 600. Both of them were linked to Technical class 005. Question 1: So when you go to the Serial Object, you can select a ‘Type Designation’ and the ‘Object Type’ will be completed with the object linked to the Type Designation - so far so good.But when both fields are empty and you select an Object Type, the Type Designation does not get auto-filled. Is there any reason for this? Why does Type designation autocomplete the Object Type but not vice-versa?  Question 2: it seems to be possible to add different technical classes to the Type Designation and the Object Type, while they are interconnected themselves (changed Technical Class for Type Designation to TC2 instead of TC5) . I would like to report machine time through machine clocking in Shop Floor Workbench (SFWB), but report labor time based on received quantity (if this is possible).  I have set the work center Time Reporting Settings as follows:where Auto Report Labor Time with Qty is set to Always.  When I test this, I start production on the Shop Order through SFWB and select Machine Time only.  I then go to Approve the operation and receive the reserved Lot Batch with Auto Report of Operations selected.However, when I review the Labor and Operation history, there is no labor reported.  I was assuming that having Auto Report Labor Time with Qty would result in labor reported (transaction code LABOR_RPT) per the standard based on the received quantity.  However, all that is reported is the OPFEED transaction with qty and machine time.  Is what I am expecting mistaken, or is there a setting that I have missed?

Hello everyone We have a strange occurrence whereby the cost recognized is different from the actual cost for a project that is POC Income First. The first line for example, shows actual cost of 4,450.71 but the calculated cost recognized accumulated is 23,801.66 . My understanding is that if it is POC Inecome First then the cost that will be recognized will be equal to the actual cost. Would anyone have an idea of what would cause such a discrepancy in this case? Any thoughts would be appreciated.    

Hi, we want to implement Large Order Quantity check.I would like to get some fields. Can someone please help me to get the right value in DB?  On Hand Qty for a part, I found it in table IFSAPP.INVENTORY_PART_IN_STOCK_TAB, but it can have multiple rows because of receiving part. But I would like to get a sum amount of a part like IFS showing in page. Should I sum all the rows relate to the same Part_NO? Or I can get it from some other places? Dose Catalog_No in IFSAPP.CUSTOMER_ORDER_LINE_TAB is as same as Part_No?
