Hi all,

we are using the NGSM with Requests and Request Work Tasks.

When planning we face a big issue when it comes to transferring Work Tasks:
If one assignment is transferred to mobile it is not possible to transfer a second assignment.
So it is impossible to send a second technician to the same Task if required but not initially known.
Or if some mistake was made during assigning. For example in the Dispatch Console if one resource demand is assigned and directly transferred before assigning the second demand, it is no longer possible to send the second one to the technicians mobile.

We have now cases, where one assignment is already set to completed and the second one is not even transferred to mobile. But because the first one is completed it is also not possible to cancel the assignment.
So the only solution is to cancel the complete Task and create a new one.

Is there any way to get this done, that I am not aware of?

Maybe you can try below options. Try using plan qty figure(if more than one resource needed) or else try the multiple visit option, which allow system to create more than one assignments depending on the duration of the work to be done compared to the engineer’s shift time. You may need to study bit about these functionalities and use.

thanks for your feedback.

Both functionalities will not solve the problem.
The multiple visit only works for splitting one FSEs assignment into shift/day junks. That is used and works.

The planned quantity is correct. In case of using the Dispatch Console this is necessary to have the correct amount of free assignments.
If I add another demand after the first one is transferred I simply cant use it, as I cant transfer it to mobile anymore.

To me it sounds more like a bug.

What is the IFS Cloud version you are in? I tested this in 25R1 SU2 and I get the Transfer to Mobile option for the second assignment.
