Hi Guys,

I am in cloud version 25.1.1

I am seeing this behaviour in the Inventory transactions history. I can see some Handling units ID s are visible for OESHIP transactions but some Handling unit ID s are not visible. Seems these are grouped based on the part and the lot batch numbers.

If I select the dropdown for the lines that Handling unit ID is not visible, all the handling units that shipped from the part and lot batch is visible in there. I think IFS sort handling units from Source ref, part and lot batch number. But If I query for that handling unit ID, OESHIP transaction is not coming up.

My client is always use handling units for shipping and previous versions I was able to query from the Handing unit ID and search for OESHIP transaction specifically.

Was this a design change comapred to APP10. Lot of my reports are also depend on the Handling unit IDs in Inventory Transactions History .

Any workarounds for this?

I saw there is another page called “Inventory transaction history details”. It shows the results. I am just wondering I have to adjust my all reports based on that.

Thanks,
Chamath

Hi,

This is a change for improved performance when having lots of serials and handling units. Instead of creating one transaction with postings and everything per handling unit and serial, these are aggregated and the details is shown in the sun-table. You can read more about this if you read this about description in the documentation: “Inventory Transaction Aggregation for Serials and Handling Units”

It should be easy to solve your customizations by switching to using the view used in the Inventory Transaction History Details page.

The other option would be to turn of the aggregation in this page (however then you will not get the performance improvement):
