Let’s say we are on 25 may 2025, and the month of apris is already closed, users are still able to enter time on account dates during april and they are not blocked until it goes to accounting. Is there a way we can block at the time registration ?

I face below problem with Script A Rest RMB All the DLLs inside the temp folder seems not accessible by the application when using the RMB.But if I run a command from Script A Rest.exe works as expected Not sure this is an error in the latest build of the tool.I downloaded from below link https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/24r1/060_development/050_development_tools/150_script_a_rest/#appsettingsconfigI have used this tool earlier without any problem. RMB works as expected. 

When you run FsMigTool.cmd, the follow error log is output. I understand that I need to set the information in the red box in the error log (Docman options, APP9 DB connection information, IFS Cloud connection information).I would like to know how to set it up. IFS Cloud Version: 23.1.16

I imported an OpenAPI spec from IFS API Explorer into my .NET Web API project to expose the IFS APIs through Swagger UI.When I try to call the APIs from Swagger, I get a CORS error in the browser.Is there a way to enable CORS in the IFS environment so that these API calls can work from a browser? or another alternative approch to use swagger ui to call REST endpoints?

We are trying to restrict a certain document class that only users in a specific person group can upload using it. Others are set up to have view access to the document class but we only want 1 person group to be able to upload a document to this specific document class.

I haven’t seen this discussed anywhere yet and there isn’t much help out there in using IFS as a CMMS in a manufacturing environment. I started out creating an equipment hierarchy that looks as such:Plant → Department → EquipmentFairly simple design. The problem comes when I get to the Equipment level. I want to use a Serial Object for my equipment (I believe) so I can write work orders to them, but it is my understanding that I would need to create a part number for the equipment before I can create a serial object for it. We have presses, washers, lathes, conveyors, etc. that we are creating in IFS to tie work orders to. Has anybody else done what I am trying to do? How should I set this up?

Hello, Is there an easy way in the Human Capital Management module to restrict managers from being able to approve their own expense sheets? Currently, their own expense sheets show in: Human Capital Management>Manager Services>Expenses>Expenses to Manage And they have the ability to approve the expense from there (even though we have asked them not to). I am not extremely familiar with this module, so I may be missing an obvious solution here. We are using IFS Cloud 24R1U4 Thank you! 

Hello IFS Communitywe have had this issue over the years again and again, but never found out what the root cause is. I am hoping that somebody might’ve seen this before.Basically we have a 1 Principal structure, meaning that all orders to external customers are getting entered in the main site (111 in this case) and parts will be sourced internally in the intercompany sites (owned). The goods then are getting shipped from the internal site to the customer directly.Sometimes when this is done, the purchase order line from the principal to the internal site and customer order line to the external customer are not getting updated to “Delivered” when the shipping transaction is done. Anybody got any ideas on why this is getting stuck?  

Hi,We are using IFS Applications 10, and I’m currently developing a web application that integrates with IFS. In the previous version, I was using SOAP services, but now I’m switching to REST APIs after upgrading.As far as I know, Basic Authentication should be enough for accessing IFS10 REST endpoints.As a test, I’m trying to call a Quick Report GET endpoint via Postman, using Basic Auth with a valid IFS user.However, I always receive a 401 Unauthorized response, even though the credentials are correct.Any ideas on what might be missing? Do I need to configure something on the IFS side, or are there special headers or tokens required?Thanks in advance.

Hello Expert I need your advice on the following scenario:Scenario:We have an integration between SAP C4C and IFS Cloud(24R2). Currently, when a request is created in SAP C4C and transferred to IFS Cloud, the system automatically generates a new location with a Location ID and associates it with the customer in IFS Cloud. We are trying to prevent the automatic creation of this location in IFS cloud during Request creation. Could you please provide guidance on how to prevent the automatic creation of locations in IFS Cloud during this process? We’re trying to use Shop Orders of the type Repair to enable us to be able to manage the Receipt, Repair and Return to the Customer of faulty parts that have been either sold directly to them or delivered as part of another product.We can create a Purchase Order with the Part as a line item, and receive the part against the PO as Customer Owned stock, and when we create the Shop Order as type Repair, it automatically links the Part Number to the Order both as a Material and a Produced Part.However as these parts are normally serialized we need to manually select which of the Part Serials are to be Reserved and Issued but when the system displays the Parts that are available for Manual issuing, our Customer owned Parts are not visible.If we try to do a manual Issue of the Inventory Part, we can select the correct part serial number but when we try to Save the Issue, we receive an error message “You are not allowed to perform this transaction NISS on Customer owned stock”.I suspect that

Hello, I am testing this newer function in IFS  (24.2.4)When I make disassembly Shop order for final goods I have a problem with serial numbers (how to get them).SN for semi-finish parts I have to find manually.The FG and SF parts were produced with serial tracking and multi level tracking (never leaved company)1 - SO - disassembly for FG2 - manual reservation of FG (Now I know SN of final, but I have to remember it)3 - issue FG4 - Receive disassembly component: how can I get SN for produced parts automatically ? I was expected better way, than finding them in other modules. In SO I can not see / find information what SN of FG I choose. Maybe I am wrong and something missed me.Thank you
