Hi Everyone,  I have an issue on Aurena (21R1) concerning the customer offset proposal. I want to do a partial matching concerning an invoice and a payment on account (CUPOA) For example my invoice = 1000 and my payment = 500  When i try to use the path menu “customer offset  proposals” then “new proposal” even if i used “manual” (i can’t mentionned an allowed difference) or the other (i can mentionned an allowed difference but i can’t validate my offset → I have the pop-up but i can’t finalize it)   I saw on the community that we have to tick the box “allow write-off for partial payment” in company path menu :   Even if this setting nothing happen, do you know if it’s possible to do a partial matching between the invoice and the CUPOA on the path menu “customer offset proposal”?  Thanks in advance for your help !  Best Regards, Jérémy,  

Hello all,  I am interested in generating an error message when I go to RMB Reserve in shipment. Applicable on a certain Shipment type. I have tried all the ways I know but can’t get it to work. I think I am doing something wrong. But I am simply too new at this to understand why it is wrong. In this case, when Shipment Type = ‘IKE’ and Next step in Shipment Flow = ‘Reserve’. In IFS help, there are system events of COMPMDIFF-, COMPMDIFF+, COMPM-IN, COMPM-OUT and COMPM-TRIN. It is mentioned that these would be triggered by intercompany transfers via posting controls of M1, M88,M89 and M90.I can see that IFS help has clear descriptions about intersite transactions within same company. But there are no scenarios of what are the transactions would cause these intercompany events and how does affect the posting controls. Anyone have idea about these events and posting controls. 

Hi,I have created a very simple custom menu to open the form Expense Sheet from an other screen.Expense Sheet view is company specific and my default company is RIA.If i try to open through this menu a record that belongs to XYZ company, it will open Expense Sheet in RIA and no record will be be displayed.I have, of course, access to XYZ, so how to force IFS to switch to the company XYZ when opening Expense Sheet view?  thanks !

Notify Me configured notification not appearing in IFS 10.The customer has an approval process in Sales Quotation  based on the document management functionality. We have created the configured notification in the Touch App Server to show the next approval step from the Approvals screen. I’ve been reading that I  should also create some custom events/custom actions to somehow push the notification in the Notify Me App (similar with PO notification). Does anyone have an example how such an event should be created based on the approval_routing_api?

We are currently on IFS Apps 10 utilizing the Sales Quotation module.  Does anyone know of a flag to turn off update Sell Price when a quantity is changed or the customer is changed.  Sell Price is considered list for us and is changed on a regular basis.  If we select the wrong customer and flip it to the correct customer the Sell Price defaults back to system default.  Same with updating a quantity. Thank You

Community, we have an issue, not sure how to handle. one purchase order line, qty 1, price 7000 for example, but supplier come in invoice twice, first time 3000, the second time 4000. now the invoice matching is done for the first supplier invoice, when the second supplier invoice 4000 come in, there is no record showing to match with. Need to manually enter the 4000 cost bookings?kindly advise how to handle this kind of scenario? 

We currently have a integration map to process incoming data from a middleware solution. When we call the ODATA endpoint '/perform_inbound_integration', and provide the information in the middleware terminology, it gets translated and processed correctly.We want to retrieve the information via ODATA via the same integration map, so also translated to the middleware terminology. How can we retrieve this mapped response? Hi Community,we want to have part_no keys created automatically by the system.One company is already using several ranges for parts in IFS Apps 10 today.Now we need to develop a concept for Part_no ranges on a global level, which is usable for several sites. Challenges: Using a sequence could provide a part_no which is already in use should we put a prefix per company or simply one ascending number or a combination of both how can IFS Apps support this setup? Or do we need to develop something?How do other customers resolve this challenge?Thank you for any feedback / proposals / sharing your concept :-)Regards Martina

Hi, what is the smootest way to receive more in a defined lot/batch Qty on a shop order? In our current process, the output is variable and hard to predict. Whith the same amount of components, we sometimes produce more (or less).As the finished part is lot tracked, we create a Lot nr up with the expected qty. However, if we produce more, we nowincrease the lot size manually increase the Lot/Batch qty manually adjust the components ‘Qty per assembly’ so our stock is still ok receive the correct ammount I believe there must a more user friendly solution for this? Thanks!

Hello All, I’m attempting to grant access to a user to view the contents of Database Task Chains in IFS 10. I’ve granted access on the Permission Set, and the user can now create database chains, however, they are unable to view any chains they have created. The table is blank when they attempt to populate it. I am able to view the contents, but I have the IFSAPP full grants. I’m assuming there is another area the user needs access to, but I do not see anything in the help that indicates what needs grants. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

If I delete/update items/records, where are the data archived?

Do data of report from IFS Business Reporter tool is stored in database the same way as report from IFS Report Designer tool(in %_REP table)?I need to create XML for tax purpose in correct form. Data for XML are coming from report(IFS Business Reporter) and I find solution to do this by use function “Get XML Data” from Report Archive:Then using IFS connect I can import generated XML to IFS and transformed it to the correct form of XML. But maybe there is more simple way to do that?

We have found the F1 help helpful, and we understand how it works. The problem is following: Note; if entered here, value will be valid for all external communication, e.g. order confirmation and delivery note. IFS only allow for one Document address, i.e. no separate invoice address!The F1 help shows that below hierarchy is used:Customer contact will be retrieved according to the below hierarchy.1. My understanding is that IFS Maintenix 8.3 SP6 was planned to be released at 07-APR-2022 (GA).I have searched the product bulletins on the community and did not find one for making SP6 GA. My conclusion is that SP6 has been delayed.Is there a new release date for IFS Maintenix 8.3 SP6?

We just upgraded to  Apps 10 UPD 14, (from UPD 8) and are now being asked to re-enter our credentials each time a work task is finished. This is the case every time, unless they Create New Work, and enter it in themselves. I am unable to find a setting to turn off the re-entering of credentials. Anyone have an idea?

Hi Everyone I’m trying to install a weblogic delivery and getting a recurring error message. This is on IFS Apps 9.Client version 9.0.60.0 Server version 6.90.21.0. I am getting a “failed executing build target” error. whenever the installer gets to the “installing middleware server message” After checking the pre-installer.log files, I find this notable error message:ORI’ve tried this installation a couple times on different test instances, and get this error on different files as can be seen above. I initially thought this might be a permissions issue, but after checking permissions on the folders running the installer as admin should be granting full access to files and folders. I’ve found online that the java.io.filenotFoundException can be generated when a file is in use and trying to be written to. Do any services need to be stopped in order to apply this delivery? I ran the stop all servers administration script prior to executing, but this doesn’t seem to be enough.  Thanks!Lav
