We are using IFS Apps 10 + Update 11. We had a connection problem a few days ago and nobody was able to access Aurena (web interface) and Entreprise Explorer anymore. Usually restarting the services correct this kind of problem but it was not enough this time. We restarted the server as well but it took a long time and Windows completed some updates during that reboot. Once completed, the reboot lead to no result as well.The error message returned when trying to access Aurena is: Error 404--Not FoundThe error message returned when trying to start EE is: Below is a summary of the errors, details of these errors are listed later in the log. * Activation of https://ispd-agni1.irisco.local:48080/client/runtime/Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.application resulted in exception. Is there any reason not to install the print agent on the MWS instead of on a separate Windows box? Has anyone done this? Any issues or results to report?

file extension is not valid

When using the RMB option Output to export selected lines to Excel produces a message when Excel opens ‘Error cannot open open the file ‘CustomerAnalysis 210818-102120.xlsx’ because the the file format or the file extension is not valid, Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that the file extension matches the format of the file. Click OK and excel is populated with the selected data. If exported as .xls the message return is slightly different ‘The File format and extension of CustomerAnalysis 210818-103355.xls’ don’t match. The file may be corrupted or unsafe. Unless you trust the source don’t open it. Di you want to open it anyway?

How to register IAM client in IFS Applications 10?

I am currently working on building a client application (WinForms based) using IFS Applications (10) REST APIs as backend. The authentication scheme I am planning to use is OAuth2 ROPC. What is the procedure to register a confidential client in Applications ?Is it possible to register the client using IFS Applications/Aurena? APPS9 - Not Saving Previous Search

IFS is currently not saving filters previously used to search in a screen.For example: If I search for a particular Project, when returning to the screen the filter is cleared. Usually, these searches should be auto-filled when visiting the screen in relation to your last search.Could this be a matter of clearing the cache?

Hi, Our customer who is running APP10 UPD11 have recently installed DP Server and client. Below is the question received from customer. Any one have answer for below question: “” I have a couple of questions that I would like to better understand and to grasp the best approach on which Demand Planner tool should be used. I have installed the Demand Planner Client on my machine and have been able to connect to it and it seems to be working now. The desktop version of the Demand Planner is what I understand to be the “Native” version of the IFS Demand Planner Solution. There is also the Demand Planner in the IFS APPS10 IEE application which can be used as well and the same exist in Aurena. My question is this? Is there any difference between these 3 versions in functionality or anything technically that would not allow HF to use them interchangeably? I would greatly appreciate if you could assist me with these questions as I’ve not been able to identify it in any of the IFS documentatio

Purchase Reqs not created by MRP? IFS Cloud

I’ve been coming across a very strange issue related to MRP in IFS Cloud. It seems I can’t get MRP to create Purchase Reqs.Below is my IP Planning DataI have also defined a supplier for purchase part: In Availability I can see I have demand for this part from a shop order (MRP Make): I run the MRP for the site. It completes OK, no errors. This is how MRP Part Info looks like:And in the end there is no Purchase Req created:Is it possible that MRP is buggy in IFS Cloud? OR did I miss some setup?

Invoice Approval Process

We use the approval process functionality, on the Manual Supplier Invoice screen, in IFS APP 10. We have created a “Hold for Approval” payment term, that is aged at 360 days. When an invoice requires approval(s), before it can be paid, we manually change the supplier’s payment term to this “Hold for Approval” payment term. This prevents the invoice from being selected to a payment proposal and paid in a check run before the approval(s) are complete. Periodically, we then have to query for those invoices with the “Hold for Approval” payment term, to see if the approvals have been completed. Once they are, we manually unauthorize the invoice, change the payment terms back to the supplier’s normal terms, and authorize it again. While this process serves the purpose, it is very time consuming. Is there any way that this can be automated, so an invoice cannot be paid before all approval steps attached to it have been completed?

Shop Order - Machine Cost

Hi All,We are facing issue related getting Machine Cost in Shop Orders. The work centers used in the Shop Orders does not contain any work center cost and it is zero. But, somehow shop order is estimated with a Machine Cost and Actual Cost also contain machine cost. We use WAC for parts.Does any one know how Shop Order gets some Machine Cost even though zero cost is defined in the Work Center ?Thanks

Qty changes when we GRN

Hi Guys, Quantity changes when we GRN a PO. Purchase order is raised with qty 1 but when we GRN it, even with qty 1, it changes to 500 post it in GL. It happens with only 1 line item at the PO rest is fine and this has happened number of times this year. We can reverse it with a JNL but how should this be fixed permanently? Kind regards, Sohail
